i used to really not like kpop, i thought it was all cutesy pretty boy stuff... but then i met exo! exo changed my life forever. exo is a life changer.lol. i accidentally encountered them on youtube a year and a half ago and completely fell in love with them. a month later my friend (who also likes kpop) forced me to listen to other kpop songs, as i swore to only listen to exo because i couldn't stand to watch anything else. and it worked! i kinda thank and hate my friend for introducing me to bts, got7, etc because i love them (and other kpop groups such as winner, and soon-to-debut-ikon) but also i swear because of kpop and kdramas my marks dropped like 5% LOL nice reaction btw! just couldnt really hear ellie, so maybe turn down the volume of the mv or a mic could work? idk, just some suggestions. yes, i do like to talk alot. especially when kpop is involved. it was a great video! i enjoyed it :)

You girls reminded me of my eldery sister and I on 2 / 3 years ago. I was the little sister who hated kpop, my sister kept ask me to watch soooo many kpop mv which i didn't care. You have to ease people into it... I know when I was getting my brothers into kpop I had to find kpop groups that suited their interests. For them it was girl groups who were weird, funky and cool like Spica, Fiestar, 4Minute, Orange Caramel and Crayon Pop. And my little brother likes aPink and I'm not sure why... also you have to not be forceful because that just makes them not want to like it even more. Oh and my mother likes Rain. So figure out her interests, if she likes rock music show her FT Island- Pray, if she likes good singing show her Ailee, things along those lines... and you can't expect them to like the same groups you do. There are many groups and solos in kpop and forcing her to watch one of your favorites is not going to help introduce her to kpop. And another suggestion, try showing her Korean variety shows like Running Man or for my older brother Romancing the Idol (it's how he found his biases Jei and Jiwon from Fiestar and Spica respectively.) Um... shows like YHY's Sketchbook will introduce her to different music genres in kpop. Alright I'm going to stop now. ^^ I think you should continue with different groups, she's bound to like one eventually. And don't just show her the popular ones, there are a lot of underrated groups that are really good.

Some advice to those that are trying to introduce their friends or family to Kpop, just try being careful not to be too forceful or pushy. Some people will immediately like it and some people just won't be able to appreciate their talent, hard work and creativity into a music video and such. I'm not saying you were being pushy or anything, you were fine, I think she seems to be set on Western style of music and entertainment, very safe and bland.
