    Still watching….. Glynn was my favourite organist back in the 80s…met him once at the 1991 Electone competition regional finals… he lent me his voice pack….I came 3rd 😊

    I wish I still had my Bill Irwin books, which included an arrangement of this old chestnut. I wonder how much of it I can play from memory...

    @kaferere; that's a horrible thing to say about a legendary organist who died tragically with polio. To say he's a humpty back twat is out of order. I remember stories of him being a ruthless individual which I know to be true also. RIP Gerry.

    If you are referring to the playing in this video, sure could be a meshed a little better, but for the sake of the demo it's actually quite acceptable. His runs are a bit staccato, but come on, not everything has to be smooth and slick. As long as the timing is on I personally think that a tinge of amateur is okay considering this is not a real organ...it's that grey area when Yamaha didn't want to call them organs. Sad, but it was the times. Hey, I'll take this kind of playing on this organ:)
