Xolani Dube is an extremely poor analyst who pivots to political conspiracies and irrelevant issues. The question in the Zuma case is whether Fraser acted lawfully in releasing Zuma on parol. Its a legal question which requires proper interpretation of the rule of law Arthur Fraser relied on. Rule of law requires that no person acts outside the legal prescripts and state officials can only exercise powers they have been lawfully conferred to them by the constitution or legislation. The court determines whether the correct standard was or was not followed using the legal standard only and not politics. The invitation to consider politics and public reaction when the court decides cases will in the long run damage the rule of law and democracy itself cause any person with enough support and who can effectively mobilize public violence will never go to jail.
