- Missed my video upload last night due to a computer crash. Would love to have a little visit with you, I'll be working on some Thank You tags and experimenting with a stitching project.
The Stitching project is for a headband a viewer and FB friend asked me to figure out. It's a very cool headband and I am going to give it a go now that I came up with a stitch for it.
Talked about having a Stich Along Club following Natalie Chanins book, The Geometry of Hand Stitching (using T-Shirt Cloth) Some of you said you would be interested. I'm making a web page to tell you all the particulars.
Bought out a local yarn shop, LOADS of DMS and Coats and Clark Embroidery Floss. Planning on making some kits with Vintage T-Shirts and Floss and will also make bundles of floss. Stay tuned for more info.
Yo-yo's are on their way and then I can re-list the Prosperity Hens using the Yo-yos.
Natilies Book is on Amazon: I am an Amazon Associate

Catching up later also .... from Australia ... who woulde thought there would be so many of us out here loving the same things and you xx Thanks for everything you do Jeri 🤩 love Krissy
It’s always great to connect with fellow stitchers all over the world! 💛💛💛
Catching up later; lovely to spend time with you in my lounge room at the other end of the world! I made a quilt in memory of my mother too; she died in 2001. I might share about it in my next video 💕😊 (PS - yes please to the Stitch Club)
Thanks for being here Rita! I'll look forward to seeing your quilt too! 💛💛💛
I'm so sorry I missed your live! I didn't get notified it was happening. :( I love kits and stitching, so YES to kits! I especially love your kits. And yes to the Stitch Club! I love how you are making your squares on your mom's quilt. It is just for you and doesn't have to make sense to anyone else. It is a beautiful tribute to her and will give your comfort for years and then your girls later. It's a family heirloom they will treasure for years to come. I'm crocheting a Barbie blanket while I watch you. :) I'm watching in bits and pieces so I'll be later. I'm at one hour and loving this!!!! I'm back. I can see the chat now, but I couldn't before. strange, but glad for it! I wish I lived near you. You'd get sick of seeing me. lol I'm so sorry you lost your upload. That must have been painful. Thank for the live. So much fun. Creative Blessings. 💛💛💛
Hi Deb, always GREAT to see you! Make sure you click on the bell, that is supposed to notifiy you when things are happening, how I suppose, your email? and I dont check mine all the time so easy to not see stuff. A Barbie blanket sounds like a nice, quick project! LOL Thanks for hanging out with me! 💛💛💛
@@JeriBellini I have clicked the bell that is why I was surprised. No worries. These things happen with technology. I just hate missing you live because it's so darn fun! At least there is the replay. I'll try to be better at checking your posts, too. Have a great and creative day💛💛💛
Me again, got around to finishing watching. Your big yo-yo maker, I have one bigger. It is the same size round but longer, makes oval yo-yos. Also, I’ve been deconstructing tshirts, about to begin my Alabama Chanin journey. I’ve ordered more strong thread and more fold oven elastic, they’ll be here soon. I’ve been looking at her old designs and the new ones, and there aren’t any ready-made garments or patterns in the larger sizes, so I’m going to find some basic tshirt and shirt patterns in the 2-5X sizes (20-26 AU, 16-22US). I’m also looking at all the stencil designs in her books (I may have bought three more books to add to Geometry 😁), and looking at my William Morris stencil book as well. I think I’m going to design my own, influenced by William, and I do have Mylar sheets, and a Cricut I still haven’t learnt to drive after three years. Yet more reading and learning befor I can go at it. I chafing at the bit, just want to start swatching, but also want to have stencils ready,. I have the paint and everything else, just need to conquer the Cricut. I totally understand your mind having a million things going on in it , same here.
Happy stitching, and stamping, and tearing, etc. 😍🥰😘
Sounds like you are off to a great start, I’m excited to see how your Alabama Chanin journey unfolds! 💛💛💛 I'm going to zero in on things and post something this week.
It's nice to see your project.. and be able to see what you're doing
Thank you for joining me for a visit! 💛💛💛
I’m interested in your stitch club, please keep me posted, though Sadly if it’s in the middle of my night I might not make it all the time. I’m awake till midnight every day, just saying. Shame Australia is so far away.
I get it, I was trying to think of a good time. I would like afternoon myself. I'm going to do a separate live with all the info. 💛

I'll be right over Jeri! I am only 1,914 miles away ... 28 hours! Icks
C'mon, I'll wait up! 💛💛💛
My local public library (in the US) has the (Geometry of HandStitching) book, including the grids/templates. I spent a happy week or two playing with the stitches(maybe a year ago)…
Hopefully those that can, will check out their library resources.
P.S.A.: our Public libraries are a crucial support for our becoming/being informed citizens.
It’s great to hear that you’ve been able to explore the stitches. 💛💛💛 I LOVE my library at the beach, the one near my home in PA, not so much. But yes, Libraries are wonderful!
Sorry I missed you this morning, I’m having a flare day it appears, not very energetic or mobile today. Now to watch and see what you’re up to today.
I’m so sorry to hear that! Sending you love and wishing you a speedy recovery! 💛💛💛

Yes I see it!
Good you pay attention! 💛💛💛
My hair is poker Straight. When I had it long it was so easy to take care of
Mine is wavy and messy! It's easy to tie it up too! 💛
Hi Jeri
Hi Kathy! 💛💛💛
How do I say hi? Anyway I’m 7mins late but I’m here.
Brian is in trouble...I've only got 1 tags in all my orders 😞 But in his defense, I always get too excited ordering and forget to say "Brian, I am a Fan of UA-camr Influencer Jeri".
Oh I know, now I'm going to hear it about those tags!!! But at least you got ONE! They are all the same so one should be enough. 😵💫💛💛💛💛 🤣🤣🤣
Wait, unless you want to be a collector of my work?!!! 🤣 Then by all means ask for more!
Did not see the questions when I tried to join FB group. Trying again 😊
Theresa, tell me your FB name, you can email it to me or leave it here and I'll let you in.
Jeri, I must admit that I made a mistake! I learned about Natalie Chanin and another New York artist at the same time and I guess my mind melded the two😊. To my knowledge, NC is not, in fact, an artist in the traditional sense of the word. I’m so sorry. I worry about this brain of mine sometimes.
Did you get in the FB group? No worries!
@@JeriBelliniYes. I did. The first time I requested I didn’t see questions. Tried again and success. 😊
Hi, Jeri. I worked in programming system development.Recommendation is two levels of back-up on-site and latest backup (or 2 levels of backup) off-site. The first backup is for when something happens to the current working copy. Keeping the previous backup is just in case something happens to the most recent back-up. (Yes, this happens. It happened to me. Something happened to my working file so I went to the backup and it was bad. The 2nd backup, which was missing some updates saved me. Reentering a bunch of updates again was a lot better than starting over.) The off-site backup takes care of things like theft of systems and backup, fires, floods, and things of that sort. The number of backups and the frequency of backing up depends on the severity and importance of recovery. Now on to your project.....
That’s so interesting about the backups, thanks for sharing! 💛💛💛 I'm loving my new external drive!
I hear ya great, your face isnt showing, just your table
That was fun! 💛💛💛
@@JeriBellini haha, love ya 😄
Just an fyi, if you’re teaching “Alabama (Natalie) Chanin” you can’t charge as per her. I’m in a group that purchased her kits. A $25 charge is applied for the use of the facility. But our leader can’t charge. P.S. I completely agree. Her work is stunning! P.P.S. Maday Delgado is the artist that did the Alabama Chanin groups I attended. She is a lovely, incredibly talented textile artist that I am sure would love to answer any questions re leading a group. Maday’s quilts are breathtaking! You would love her.
Hi Jacqueline! That's why I don't want to do anything on YT. I thought off site in a private room, where we would all have her book and all work on the projects together. Not really teaching, just offering a place to meet and work. The fee would be for the Zoom room. I hope that makes sense. I'll look up Maday, she sounds interesting! 💛💛💛 Aren't you lucky that you participated in that group!
@@JeriBelliniI loved participating. It’s so healing and you learn so much from each other. Definitely an important part of living your best life. Huge hugs!
An idea just came to me. Every once in a while, I see a marvelous quote from an author, a poet, etc. that I would love to share. These tags would be a wonderful way to share that with my love ones. Thank you Jeri!
Yes
Hey Kathy! 💛💛💛
