I just went and order an extra to keep nice in the box! Hopefully we get a Cobra Commander, and Roadblock turns out as nice.

I actually cancelled my PO for this figure after watching your review. It's a great review as is typical of your content. But the design choices and changes Mezco made to his collar from promo pics to production figure are a deal breaker for me. The collar looks like a tufted pillow and the transition from the collar to "flesh" is bad. Thank you for the great in-depth reviews. You've both saved me money and cost me duckets lol
It looked different in like every Shot of the "proto"... there were shots of the collar looking exactly like what it ended up being. Esp the pic with all the accessories. They made it more accurate . Those proto shots were awful but to each their own. Hopefully you don't end up regretting it

Destro actually does have an outfit with a cape. His head is gold and he’s got gold spikes on the shoulder with a red cape. That look has always been a face of mine
I pre-ordered this figure two years ago. It looks good. I hope it's as good in hand. This will be my first Mezco figure and I'll decide if I order more depending on how this is out of the box.

Gotten two emails saying they're having trouble processing the card (which shouldn't be an issue; card works and I've the funds) but they haven't responded to my emailing about it. I didn't place an order and wait two years for this just so it can get cancelled when there's no reason......past my personal issue at hand, good review and the figure looks great.
I had the same experience but when I checked my bank account the payment was processing after the 2nd email. I think they sent an email last week saying payment updates were required even if card info was not changing. Good luck man and fingers crossed 🤞
I think my pre order is going on two years plus right now until I emailed BigBadToyStore. Now all of a sudden they have them in stock and are going to ship him to me. I'm ready to take photos of this figure out in the wild :P
im struggling to get the batteries into his case. did you have any trouble sliding them in? and the stand. how does it go in the base? does that peg pop out?
Nice review, but not feeling this one. The head looks great, but the puffy collar is just weird. Like his suit has a built in life preserver that accidentally inflated, heh. The oversized boots also make him look a little too short or stocky.

Camera was trying to focus on the figure behind your hands the entire time you were showing accessories, lol. Maybe just move him off camera during accessory segments.

No matter how nice these are, I can't see the point of collecting this line. Even if they were affordably priced, It's still G.I.Joe, a Hasbro property made by a third company while Hasbro is already releasing their own, quite good versions. How many characters are they even going to make? 5, 10? The Classified line is approaching 100 releases soon and they are perfectly adequate.
Because this destro is going to look better on that Hiss tank.. options... imo this blows the classified destro out the water. To each their own. You could still mix it in with hasbro as well

As always you killed it with the photos of him. The review was rough with the focus issues. But I’m so excited for this one. And Mezco snake eyes and Storm shadow. Don’t really care for the Roadblock. But he was never a favorite of mine. I’m more of a stalker guy. Stalker, snake eyes, lowlight, hit and run, Tunnel rat, and night force outback make a perfect squad for me.
