When ravens lose 2019 vs Titans because of Henry of course, i really want this man stand behind Lamar and 2024 was dream come true for me. Not a great start but look at them now ❤
Great question. We read from left to right from whatever perspective we have. I tend to name it from a defensive perspective. So if the reduced split is on the left “cut” comes before the number of receivers. If it’s on the right, it Comes after. If there’s a cut on both sides then it’s designated before and after the numbers of eligibles on each side. For example, 2 receivers to each side of the formation would be 22. If both sides have reduced splits then it becomes cut 22 cut. The Formation Identification Numbering System (FINS) follows this format: Left Tag/Left # of eligibles/Right # of eligibles/Right Tag. I’ll make a video about this and identifying the backfield today.
Who can stop this run game?!
Nobody

Great Film.💪🏿
Thanks very much @drb5003!
So does "cut" in formation ID simply mean a reduced wide receiver split? And if so, what if the split is reduced on both ends?
