@@Sifd You can also set level up to semi-automatic or manual. semi automatic makes it so you decide when to use all level ups thought this doesnt work for shopkeeper whos semi-automatic level up works like a manual which is seperates each level up as an even you tigger individually. helps for afk builds in survival too. I use this when just trying to level up talents.
Sifd: Here is an even better way to play gunslinger. Get defense, evasion, hp regen, and reactive trigger then just go and constantly run into the enemies. Get the sniper and piercing and you can literally 2 shot the final boss.

I've been playing the merchant a lot to power through the challenges and noticed that I always get the over-level or gold-on-kill relic when the stage 2 boss is beaten. It could just be a coincidence though🤷♂️ By the way, it's nice to see some Rogue Genesia again. I'm sure I'm not the only one who's missed it.
I enjoy your content! I feel like you may have biases against tainted cards formed prior to the challenges update that are making you underestimate their value. With meta progression upgrades from the challenges, the tainted cards are a lot better than most green and non-tainted white cards. The tainted damage multiplier card gives 1.08x damage. After just 9 upgrades you can double your damage, which is half of the "godly" ascended card that gives 4x damage. As an example of how you prioritize non-tainted cards: You took light armor over tainted damage percentage which is 1.02x movespeed at the cost of 1.08x damage, but you took damascus steel over agility shortly afterwards, which is only 1.05x damage at the cost of 1.11x movespeed.
44:00 EDIT: I'm wrong, I remembered it wrong. JamCatPlexer pointed out that it is the Corrupted Core and is from when you level a weapon to level 9. I remembered it wrong. I have only gotten it once or twice, though, and never been able to "Over Cap" my weapons with it. The artifact that lets you find the limit break cards are unlocked when get the "Wander's Trick" achievement. That's the "glitch" that gives you infinite money. Like Sifd says in other videos (and the tooltip) it kills any challenge runs or achievements you're working on that run, so keep that in mind. The artifact is called "Wander's Helmet" and I've only been able to buy it a few times and I don't think I've ever been able to get a level 8 card other than the shop/blacksmith. It does basically say it's only a 1% chance, though.
No the artifact you're talking about is the corrupted orb. Wander's Helmet just lets you sell half of your current hp instead of healing. You unlocked Corrupted Orb by getting a lvl 9 weapon.

sifd once you get sun stone max out you get better sun stone called "solar stone" that takes a while to level up but has higher silling and has a bit less stats than level 10 sun stone
technically you can take a weapon to level 9 If you buy that relic that allows you to over level your cards but they appear 90% less likely. the card will pop up as 7->8/7 and limit break simultaneously and voila ;)
Also sif, base damage gets multiplied by the multipler on your damage number, the "other" stat is what you get from your hp to damage cards that doesnt get multiplied. The HP card you picked up was like a .01% damage increase. While picking up a +1.0 base damage card wouldve been a 5% damage increase It works the exact same way extra damage does in the cultivation game, a completely irrelevant stat late game in both games
@Sifd for gunslinger you should go to options and change from Auto to manual level up. Its in the Options>Gameplay. This will help you from miss clicking on level up. Love your content
You were not loosing life at the end. You were procking the mantle that made you invulnerable for 4 seconds during which your hp bar becomes teal instead of orange
i love how sif automatically hates on every card that gets rid of base damage even though the change is very minuscule, losing 1 base damage when he end sup having 50~ or up to 300 on merchant etc. Like its a -1.05x damage multiplier at the worst and some cards he likes are -1.2x multipliers but they just dont say base damage so he is fine with it
Sifd, you can change "Delay until cards can be selected" in game options. Max is 1 second.

You should recheck all the passive talents again, when 1 hits level 10 something cool happens
