Now that’s how it’s done. Just bought a 1986 Plymouth reliant station wagon. 66,134 mile. Off the original owner. He is 93. Been parked since ‘18. This is what I need done.

Very nice video. Only downside is, you take it out in the rain in our city, and in 2 minutes it's gonna be all muddy, dirty, so all your hard work is basically gone in 2 minutes. I have a 2007 Honda Accord, I love it, clean it, wash it regularly, but I wouldn't get into deep cleaning, because here it's useless. It's gonna be clean for literally few hours maybe a day.
The particular job was actually get the car clean after driving on salty roads during winter but I feel you 😄. One great thing about living in Greece is that we have good weather 365 days pretty much.

But for the video maker and all the rest, remember which wheel and where you’re tube was before taking off!
After cleaning and you put you’re wheel somewhere you can have problems with balance of tyre on axle!
With new tyres no problem! Just a tip!

Could you use a drill with a soft to medium brush attachment for the wheel wells instead of brushing by hand to save time and man power?
It’s not a bad idea ! I did on the last job with caked brake dust it actually worked pretty well

When you put wheels back on you should always 1) Tighten the lug nuts in a star/criss-cross pattern 2) Get them far more than just a couple of threads by hand. You run the risk of cross-threading the lug nuts. 3) Torque them with a torque wrench, not an air gun 🙈 Yikes, man!

Great video man! But how come you rinse the car off after foam cannoning it and THEN wash it? Wouldn't you just use the foam to wash the car, then rinse? Anyways. Genuinely curious

This was the pre wash stage, where you have to let the foam do the heavy lifting by dissolving most of the dirt on the paint . You rinse it of and then you contact wash

It’s either a southern or west coast car and most likely repainted. So basically it’s a wash. All the hard detail work has been done already. That’s the real deep clean. The rear rotors aren’t even rusted.

In Europe, they were the original fitted on the Civic VTi. Looked fantastic (I owned a EG 1.3 back then, still in the road with a different owner).

Damn it's in great condition but damn those rubber strips are still there on the rear fenders. Yikes.

@@maxvisionautodetailing oh yeah definitely. Have one myself in the same colour. But i was pointing out those rubber trims at the rear febders still being there is because they're notorious on old Hondas to cause premature rust problems since dirt and water that manage to get in there doesn't get out. Think Honda had a genuine good thought that they would protect the fenders which they do of course but in the long run they can cause problems.
Thankfully our weather is mostly good throughout the year so rusting aint much of a problem for older cars except if you live on an island where humid salty air mess things up pretty badly .

Your mitt and towel use is erratic.
One minute you’re washing or drying the bottom of the car, the next you’re washing higher up.
That’s how paint is scratched!
