Shoutout to S.P Score Videos > ua-cam.com/users/StefanoPaparozzi and Le Sheet Music Boi, alias "Tage" > ua-cam.com/channels/GN3RVAodiogEyT4PSwIavg.html without their help, I would not have the knowledge to edit my score-videos at a rate of 2000x faster than I could do so manually, so expect more quantity, at no expense to quality.
Beautiful. The Ouverture is similar in style (and key!) to Handel's Concerto Op. 6 no. 10. Would not be surprised to learn Handel took some ideas from Purcell!
Thank you for the upload I still remember listening to somewhat slower version of this suite on YT, that totally vanished... Does anyone know about it? Would be so appreciated!
@@TheOneAndOnlyZeno for example the overture it sounds like the 16 notes are played as 32nd and in my strings program we played it that way, I forget what it was called

Purcell's harmony is perfect. Every voice is exquisite. The only other composer who could consistently pull that off was Bach.
Ouverture à la Française is grandiose. Veiled in a dusky obscure tragic colorite.
Purcell Young genius above above all UK baroque
Gracias de verdad por estas musicas
Great. Thanks.

Interesting!
Corelli was a good teacher for Purcell. And Purcell was the same for Handel.
All masters - I enjoy all their music.

Greatest English music EVER.
My dearest genial Georgy is not counted, as he was German. So, there is no rivalry.
Someone rewrote that overture in the French style.
What’s it called where they play the eighth notes and lower half as long
Can you timestamp? Not entirely sure what you mean
