Maurizio Lazzarato "Capital Hates Everyone" | Chapter 2: Technical Machine and War Machine

In this lecture, we'll look at chapter two of Maurizio Lazzarato's "Capital Hates Everyone: Fascism or Revolution". This chapter elaborates on Deleuze and Guattari's concept of the war machine and assemblage by applying it to theories of technology, cybernetics, labor, and productivity in order to chart future paths for revolution against capitalism. By looking at the contemporary situation of nihilistic, alienated workers, as well as the rise of automation, this chapter is particularly interesting for getting a greater understanding of the way social machines define the "consistency" (to use a Deleuzo-Guattarian term) of technology and its integration with humans.
