I have a feeling that things are going to come to a head really soon between shabani and kyomasa. The zoo's in Japan should have mapped out the future of these young gorillas a lot better. Why wait for a serious incident to occur before you decide to make changes.
They would need a new facility right? Moving Kiyo and Gentaro into bachelor quarters makes perfect easy sense. But where to do it? They need another facility the size of this one. And it it is not at one of the existing zoos they need staff for that new facility. Obvios problem and solution but not easy to do.
@@gregsutton2400 exactly right. Finding a place is probably the problem. Kyoto has a empty exhibit that used to be a monkey or chimp exhibit. But the problem is that the zoo's in Japan should have had all of this figured out years ago. Don't wait till they are grown to make a decision. The future of these gorillas should have been set up when they were little. It comes down to poor planning.
