At Last! At Last! CHARGERS!!!! I "Begged for" many weeks ago. Now that I came out from sickness (Not COVID - 19 Thank GOD but I can´t even watch UA-cam), Here is My Personal Reward & Gift!! Thank You So Much MuscleCarOfThe Week!!!
Great episode Kevin - love the old Chargers ! Brother had a 66 lt yellow w/ black int ,383 auto. Great car.! Another friend had a 68, triple black hemi ,4 spd fully optioned at the time. Still has it, and it is worth a lot of coin ! Love the channel !
that white 1967 Dodge Charger has got to be one of the Nicest looking cars i've seen in a long time and probably my favourite charger so far. Although, the ones shown after that were pretty sweet as well.
Another top notch top class video keep them coming watch them every Friday absolutely love them and yes the 68 to the 70 were the best chargers in my opinion but I also like the 71 to the 74 different but very unique and I do like them Guess you could say I'm a 68 to 74 kind of guy when it comes to the charger lol.
Slight correction on the '68 Charger interiors. All models had front buckets as standard equipment. Front center seat belts were optional with fold down armrest. I believe a front bench was available on the '70 though. Great show Kevin. 👍
@@kota7840 I had a 1973 Challenger 340 Ralley for my senior year. It was kinda fast. What I tried to get my dad to buy was a used 1970 GTX 440. I have always loved the 1970 GTX with the 1970 Charger 440 or 426 being my next most loved. Back in late 1960s to 1970 Chrysler muscle was the most power/fastest for the money. 🇺🇸🍺🍺
@@larryl1427 I agree Larry. I guess that would be my 3rd favorite. I never appreciated the Coronet's scoops. They just looked too cartoonist to me. The Super 🐝 was fast. A guy one town from where I lived had one. He would race with those "street legal" slicks. The kind that had one or two little grooves. He won lots of races and got into many fights after the races with looser calling out "cheating". That was a long time ago.
An American muscle car that's very aptly named indeed! Those featured models look fabulous both interior and exterior! Good chosen subject for this show!!
.......Or simple acknowledgement in this case. I always thought the 1971 - 1974 Dodge Chargers were fabulous looking cars and for 71’ you could still get all the high horsepower engines, so what gives Kevin? 🥉
great vid Kevin --- the first charger is absolutely one of my all time favourites. I've had many rides but have yet to own one of these. Love the HEMI but make mine a 440. It's less maintenance. So mine would be a '67
What happened to the 71Charger and onward?I know the early 70s was the death knell for American muscle, but there were still a few worth mentioning. My buddy is lucky enough to have a 66 4speed Hemi Charger and a 67 automatic Charger. Sweet guys, thanks!
I always thought the '66-'67 Charger was butt-ugly, hideous-looking. But no matter what you thought of it's looks, it was still one hell of a fast car. The '68-'70 Charger on the other hand was one of the most iconic musclecars of all time. It had the looks, the substance, the essence. In musclecar parlance, it was and is immortal
Why you didn't talk about 71 charger ? ? That generation was very important too, and in the brothers collection has a very special 71 chargers too. Thanks
69 gotta be my favorite Charger year, the Taillights and split grille definitely do it for me. And growing up as a kid watching Bo and Luke Duke with there 69 probably the reason why that's the year for me. When i was a kid, that was the Best thing on TV, wouldn't miss an episode. I know some people prefer the 68 Taillights, to me they just too damn small for the back of the car, the 69 Taillights were a Major Improvement to me, and i think to Dodge also, since we're used on 70 models also.
Great video summary of these 'wow' cars. Well spoken by the narrator. Tremendous examples shown here. Good to see the unnecessary music has been muted right down so as to be unobtrusive, although removing the music entirely, except at the start would be even better. I always thought the 66-67 Charger styling was awkward and bulky at the rear but that interior was just amazing and what a pity they cut costs by cheapening it down in the next models. It's also beyond my understanding why Chrysler would choose boring white as the color for their touring show car. Surely a more interesting color would have been better. After all, it was a sports tourer aimed at the younger faster generation they were promoting, not a wedding limo.
Damn calm down, he didn't mention _any_ movies or TV shows now did he? So it's not like he purposefully omitted it. You're really reaching to find something to complain about, lol.
raced a charger 440 6 pack in my 66 GTO beat it from stop light to stop light on San Thomas expressway in Campbell California in the 70,s i wanted to go again at light but he flipped me off ran red light never saw it again in Campbell
1968 is my favorite year. I love the round tail lights!

The Charger is really for me one of the top ten muscle cars of all time , a true classic
One of my top two favorite muscle cars. Nothing says American muscle like a Dodge charger. Great video as always Kevin. 💪👍👊
In my opinion, the '68 was by far, the best looking Charger of them all, hands down.
68 is perfection 😚
68 charger looked cool with those little round marker lights on them.
Every Mopar had those in 68.
2nd generation Charger = best looking car ever.
Gotta agree with you there
Hard to beat the looks of a 1971 Hemicuda with the shaker hood.
I think the '68 Charger was the best looking of them all.
@@larryl1427 Not hard at all....when comparing it to the better 68' Charger!
My 1st car at age 16 was a 1968 Plymouth Sport Fury, it had a 383 with lots of tork . Love it!
We had a 69-R/T-SE-440-4sp-Red- Black vinyl top.......I can still smell and hear those pipes idling in the Driveway!
Love the 68 RT Charger because of Steve McQueen "Bullitt".
that white 1967 Dodge Charger has got to be one of the Nicest looking cars i've seen in a long time and probably my favourite charger so far. Although, the ones shown after that were pretty sweet as well.
Simply beautiful cars.....This era of automotive design was awesome

1971 Chargers were great too! Does the Brothers Collection have any rare and beautiful 3rd generation Chargers?
Slight correction on the '68 Charger interiors. All models had front buckets as standard equipment. Front center seat belts were optional with fold down armrest. I believe a front bench was available on the '70 though. Great show Kevin. 👍
I like the ‘68 taillights but the ‘69 grill. Thanks for sharing them! 👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸
Nice, Kevin, even as a Chevy owner of a '70 Camaro and '65 'vette, you did the Charger well!
Love it! :)
If Freedom was a car, it would be the Dodge Charger 🇺🇸
Or challenger
Best Comment!

Great episode but PLEASE let us see more of that STUNNING '70 Sublime Challenger that's been lurking in many of your videos!!
One of my favorite UA-cam channels. The cars, the production value and the ever knowledgeable host are awesome.
Your YT channel keeps getting better each and every episode....thxxx for sharing....stay well, stay safe.
With the possible exception of the mid-60s GTO, the 68-70 Charger was probably the best looking Muscle Car.
I love every single one of those cars, too bad I can’t afford one

My dad had a 66' red Charger 383. Roomy & quick.
fave car fave colour.
The 1971-1974 Chargers never get any love

Can’t forget the General Lee.

Had a 69 Rt 440 regret selling it.
71 R/T in my top 5 favorite cars, airgrabber and optional exhaust tips, just ugly with the full vinyl roof
I'd be happy with any of those.
Recomend an edit with a movie clip from Bullit.
My 2nd grade teacher had a 66. I don't think she was using the folding rear seats to take a nap
Nice video, but the Charger didn’t stop at 1970.
I wonder if the Brothers want adopt a new brother?
What about the third gen Chargers???
I thought this was going to be a video about superchargers and turbochargers, lol.
68 is the best with 69 a hair close 2nd.
Iconic beauties.
Omg the burnouts, instant Woodrow....
LOL is "woodrow" like woody, YEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSS
Nice toy
And suddenly MCOTW has made itself obsolete, 66-70 charger, tha'ts it done.
Love them all

Maybe newer Chargers should be called "Charger light".
Even all hopped up, they don't look as cool as a two door Charger.
1968
Love Fords Mustang, but the '68 Charger runs a close second.
wow.....
66 and 67 were ugly.
