Glad you got a 22 x 20 bass drum. I like those, and think they look good too with the kit. Extended hoop is pretty cool too. Really nice drums. But need a better room microphone to hear them. Since I suspect the mics on the drums are not hooked up. I checked your site out and if doing Folk Rock you need to check "Villager of Ioannina City - Age of Aquarius" their 2nd album and a great live video "live in Athens" and you can see the traditional Greek instruments they use. Great Band. In English. "Aertana - The Legend Begins" . Russian band in Russian. But it doesn't matter because the singer she is fantastic. Folk Rock/Metal. Tracks 7, and 8 a good introduction. Life Without Music (and drums) would be a Mistake.

I got Audix D2’s on racks, D4 on floor tom, D6 and a Sure Beta 91a in the kick, SM57 on snare, and a matched pair of Rhøde M5 overheads.

I did a full mic recording towards the end there. Did a phone mic recording first to just get the raw sound first.
