I want to appreciate the design of their AHL affiliate: clearly linked to the Flyers without copying their nickname and/or jersey template. That is great branding right there. Give it a few years with the Fedetov ruling Michov being a few years out. I think Gauhtier and Matvei will be a killer duo. Iblike the way Danny and Torts and Jonsey have a possible vision to steer this ship correctly
As a Flyers fan I agree with you that the Winter Classic jersey is the best Flyers jersey imo. The second stadium series jerseys bug me because of how lazy they were with the design as they just flipped the colors.

I would *really* love to see some sort of Quakers-inspired jersey the next time we're in aWinter Classic. Feels like too big of an opportunity to pass up on considering theres not much else for us to throwback to!

The CCM Clarke jersey I’ve never liked. It’s basically the 2010s jersey. The one he actually wore was burnt Orange almost red. The older M&N is sadly the only jersey they have done that’s close to that style of jersey.
The Bob Clarke sweater is nice, but the original flyers color was a blood orange, much darker than the traffic cone shade they've transitioned to. Oldschool sweaters were so much better imo. Also, the new "burnt orange" they're going with is also much brighter and closer to a traffic cone than the original color
The Flyers All Orange stadium series jersey when they played at the Linc. Its pretty much a copy cat of their farm teams (Phantoms) jersey when they played Hershey in the outdoor game at Hersheypark stadium

My brother has a game used Cochrane jersey. Not a Flyers fan here but always loved their colors, image etc and always entertaining when they came to town.

Fun fact: you can (loosely) date Phantoms jerseys based on the highlight color. They changed it from purple to blue when they moved to the Lehigh Valley.

They were supposed to move to LV from that point on but they had to wait on the PPL Center to be built. Debate about eminent domain ended up stalling it a bit iirc. One of the nice things that came out of the 'Class of '67' expansion group was the introduction of new colors to the NHL palette. Orange of the Flyers, Purple and gold of the Kings, Green for the North Stars and Seals.

I didn’t mind the traffic cone, orange, color and design, but I do agree that the burnt orange does look nicer. That fires jersey that THG says was his favorite is also my favorite one. And I know most people didn’t like the stadium series jersey that is all orange with a little bit of black striping that they used against Pittsburgh. Hi, I really like both Pittsburgh and Philadelphia’s jerseys. I also really liked both reverse retro jerseys. I want to wear that reverse retro one point I was so bad.

Phantoms have moved a ton. In the 15 ish years I’ve been following hockey they’ve been in 3 places off the top of my head (Philly, Adirondack, LV)
