Yes, the world we knew is gone & not coming back. I trust in & praise The Lord God of Israel through Jesus Christ!

Why do we have to repent when Jesus already repented for us on the cross? Isn’t it enough to believe, love and have faith in Christ that we have everlasting life?
Kayla, Jesus paid for all of our sins on the cross, His blood atoned for the sin of the entire world. Repentance is our part, we are called to repent (turn away from sin, change our minds about sin) and put our faith and trust in what Jesus has accomplished for us on the cross. Our righteousness is in Him, not in ourselves.
Jesus said you must be born again...that means you are no longer what you once were. Your a new creation in Christ ( 2 Corinthians 5:17) Titus 2:11-12 (ESV): “For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age.” Galatians 5:16 (NIV): "So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.

Believing is not just saying "Yes Jesus died for me, thank you that's enough now" but being grateful, having a personal relationship, and wanting to please Him and do good works, because of what He has done for us. The Holy Spirit helps us because we cannot do it on our own and He doesn't expect us to. In fact we cannot do it on our own. That's why Zechariah 4:6 says " Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts. And "For they disciplined us for a short time as seemed best to them, but he disciplines us for our good, in order that we may share his holiness " Hebrews 12:10 And... "Therefore, brothers, we have an obligation- but it is not to the sinful nature, to live according to it. For if you live according to the sinful nature, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live" Romans 8:12-13 so you see with the HELP of the Holy Spirit we can ivercome sins and bear good fruit in our lives.
