Employees See Only Promises ESOP. Quit after 13 years on good terms. Company gave low pay, and no upward mobility, but justified it with the ESOP. Told everyone that they were going to pay out ESOP fast after end of employment. Now I realize that I will die before they actually payout!
I still have 3 yrs to go and need my ESOP money so badly. Of course I would be depending upon the dumbest worst most backward b.s. to help me after 7 yrs of loyal service and continual overtime. These backward retarded bastards won't even give a loan,it is STUPID and BACKWARD. Do 401K save yourself from this stupidity of ESOP.
Five years damn 😂 good thing I don’t rely too much on it always have a main 401k I deposit weekly $100 that should help build my retirement plan by have multiple backups and investments
esop does not take any money from your regular earnings. It's just an extra bonus given to you from the company basically for loyalty. You lose nothing and still have the ability to invest into a 401K if your company offers one. all these people on here bitching about free money when they retire 😂 I'll take it if you don't want it
@@derekmelby7644 I agree. But to call it employee ownership is BS. I can’t borrow against the company, or brag to the ladies I own a multi-million dollar company.
ESOP is the worst dumbest most backward b.s. I've been gone 2 yrs and have 3 more to wait. It is heartbreaking frustrating and stupid. Do 401K stay away from ESOP. Sincerely,Andrew
What happens if a company dissolves an esop and you no longer work for them but are 100% vested. Are they required to pay everyone out once the esop is dissolved?
Hi Alicia, thanks you for the information. May I ask 2 questions? 1. Yor are vested, and you quit your job. Can you still cash after 5 years even if you're not 65?? 2. If I die, can kids inherit ESOP? Thank you Alicia
Hi Nestor, payments will be made no later than the 6th plan year following the year of termination for the vested portion of your account. If an employee passes away, the beneficiary(ies) noted on the beneficiary form will receive the benefits payments. If you should have any additional questions please contact Alicia Bachman in HR at 909-869-1238.
@@kkwtrucking3252 Thank you so much for your time Alicia, I really appreciate it. Are you a financial advisor? May I call your number then? I'm quitting my job after 20 years and I do have a couple more questions, but I can pay for your time if you are a financial advisor, that's not a problem.
How long will it take if me to receive a check if I cash out my ESOP while still employed with the company? I completed my form form a direct deposit to me a few weeks ago. Thanks in advance!
👍 Yes sir it is the worst retirement you can imagine, can't even get a $3,000 loan on $63,000 of ESOP and have 3 yrs to go. Freaking dumb stupid and borderline theft.
everyone should utilize 401K benefits if offered. ESOP is completely different from 401K. You don't put your own money into ESOP, it is given to you by the company for loyalty and service. It is given as shares of the company and meant as a retirement fund.@@E.C.2
