Worst Levels Ever # 42

- Unfortunately, although there are lots of fantastic levels and stages in video games, there are also a fair few awful ones.
With so many games out there, it's easy to play something then only vaguely remember the experience after that point: did you imagine it? Was it actually a dream? Or did it actually happen?
This is especially prone to happen with any games you rented once and never played again, such as what happened with today's featured level. Is it as bad as I remember it being all those years ago? That's what I aim to find out today...

Worst levels ever is great because you get to see Git rant about a game that most of his audience has never played or even seen before.
I personally think these videos about obscure or forgotten videogames are the best, I learn a lot more than seeing games I’ve already played!
Whenever he covers a more modern game it actually feels kinda weird
Me and a friend actually rented this one a looooooong time ago
Got genuinely teaches me of so many games I didn’t even know existed
that mouth level is honestly horrifying. feels like something that would be in a creepypasta
"Teeth to the left of me...gums to the right of me... I am going... MAAAAAAAD!!"
YES
It doesn't help that the music sounds like it was written by a madman.
The maddening music doesn't help matters at all
Exactly
that game over with stimpys mouth slamming shut will never stop being funny
the cartoon disgust sound effect followed by the sound of breaking glass and rens broken body is simply amazing
I think those brown blobs might be pieces of Gritty Kitty Litter. As Stimpy wrote in his poem about why he loved Gritty Kitty, "It says crunchy, even in milk".
They could be anything, Stimpy's dental care in one episode was shown to be HORRIABLE, those brown blobs could even be rotting teeth
Believe it or not, Veediots! actually gets even harder (and grosser!) in the later levels! The last level is Marooned, based on the episode of the same name, and it is set on a world made of alien slime.
Actually, the level is set inside an alien. It also reuses the mouth level's music for the parts where you fall further down the alien's body, which is honestly a much more fitting use for it.
Honestly the game looks like frustrating as heck, props for actually beating those levels!
12:36 how nice of Lub Lub
"Go on, Stimpy! He's got us. Give him back his five bucks."
"........ *_I CAN'T!!!!!_* I've been bad, Ren! You'll smack me!"
"When have I _ever??_ Now go ahead. Tell me what's wrong."
(sniffle) "ALL THIS TALK ABOUT EATING ME HUNGRY!!! _... _*_I ATE THE FIVE BUCKS!!!!!!_* " (cue dramatic horror sting music)
"YOU... (SLAP!) STUPID IDIOT!!! YOU... (SLAP!) _FILTHY WORM!!! YOU..._ (SLAP!) *_BLOATED SACK!!!!!!_* "
Wow, this game didn't waste any time ramping itself up to brutal, huh? Stimpy's mouth looks like it should be the end-game gauntlet!
The frustration of this game was on another tier.
oh god this video awakened memories buried so deep within me, that teeth level, so frustrating to play and also scared me a lot as a kid
i feel like you could probably make a video on the whole game, since it look like it have taz's bad level design with asterix's time limit problem
2:15 bruh that wasnt a regular punch, that's a drill pretending to be a fist
Even Star Platinum can't punch that fast
The crazy thing is that the beaver is an actual character - the Tooth Beaver. No. Don't ask. I doubt context helps.
This said though, even by Ren and Stimpy standards, this is a revolting-ass level; I think the fact that you have to actually *play it* just makes it that much worse.
"I doubt context helps." Sir this isn't some really obscure cartoon that nobody remembers & is almost completely lost to time.
@@ExtremeWreck I wouldn't say really obscure considering it's on Paramount Plus and a lot of older animation fans know about it
plsu there are several DVDs containing its episodes out there
@@ExtremeWreckthe tooth beavers are from another episode, ren's toothache
10:40 reminds me of the Taz game you talked about earlier's turkey looking like a rock
I love Ren's vacant look as he's about to get murdered by teeth
Sweet merciful Lub Lub, this level is *creepy!* Especially that second half!
2:15 - I have to admit, taking out a professional wrestler with one punch is impressive.
Idea: Top 10 bosses you wouldn’t want to fight in real life.
@@prof.laytonfan764 That's just a more narrow version of "weakest characters ever".
#1 the Great Mighty Poo
@@Quenlin The hook is that you have to imagine and explain how exactly you would beat them, which could be entertaining.
This guys dedication is insane, i remember watching him like 6 years ago, hes been making videos for about 15 years, and he only drops bangers
Oh heck yeah I love Ren and Stimpy, I got many of the episodes memorized, and it's also my favorite cartoon of all time and it influenced animation too.
The Boy Who Cried "Rat!" is the very _reason_ the level skip cheat exists. The difficulty is _incredibly_ front-loaded in this game, and for one reason only:
Nintendo wanted you to actually _buy_ this game.
Yes, really.
It's the same reason why the second level of _The Lion King_ is so damned hard - Nintendo basically wanted to make it impossible for people who rented the game to ever _beat_ the game. So, front-load the difficulty to the point where people just buy the games so they can take as long as they want to beat it.
Once you clear the first four levels, though, the rest of the game feels _much_ less cheap by comparison (although the two falling levels in "Marooned" are about the only ones that make me want to pull my hair out in frustration).
Yeah, this first level alone caused me to vomit as a kid and got Ren and Stimpy effectively banned from the household.
...And somehow...the whole friggin' _Time Warp_ Ren & Stimpy game manages to be EVEN WORSE!
Hoooooly shit. Had this game as a kid. Clicked solely to see if it was the mouth level so that I'd feel some vindication after all these years. This level is a nightmare.
If you take one lesson away from this video, it's to make sure you practice proper oral hygiene so you don't end up with beavers in your mouth.
This level tormented me as a child. Difficulty, music, setting, everything. I think I only ever beat it once, maybe twice, and I didn't last in the game very long afterward.
"without damaging your chihuahua", THANK YOU for putting it that way lmao
The tooth level looks like it has all existing bad level traits in one!
I remember playing this game amd actually beating it. But it WASN'T easy. It took me MONTHS to memorize everything to beat the game. The mouth level was indeed difficult because of the nerves. And glad you mentioned the hourglass, because I found it by accident on my playthrough. The roof of his mouth was VERY close to crushing me, when a beaver jumped out and I killed it by accident causing me to discover the hourglass and get it, which gave me more time to beat the level and I did.
Amazing video by the way, keep it up. ^v^
If I know game devs, that hourglass was probably a dev shortcut.
4:29 I love how you move to take of the beavers xD
Sweet gibbering Law, I'm going to have nightmares tonight. Thanks, Git.
"Beavers?"
Yes, Tooth Beavers, seriously, they were in the show, they gnawed holes in teeth in order to get at their main food source, the tooth nerves.
Ah the memories, hours and hours dying on rhe mouth of Stimpy
Though, I must say that Buckaroos for the SNES and Stimpy's Invention for the Genesis/Megadrive can get way harder
The things falling from the top look like rotted out teeth to me.
That gave me flashbacks to the fire truck and bicycle level in the other game.
Wow, nostalgia thunderbolt. This would be the only Ren And Stimpy game I've ever played, and I remember nothing about it except that mouth level, which I could NEVER beat. I didn't even remember which one I played, not that I cared to find out because it was never really my thing (either the show or the games).
Veediots is the only Ren & Stimpy game I've played. Only ever got through the mouth level once, and never got past the following level (which was the army camp I believe).
This just goes to show how amazing it is to not be born during the early 90s
Or for that matter have cable tv
*or have watched Nickelodeon ever in your life*
That toast isn't merely toast! It is POWDERED TOAST!
The music is somehow the worst of both the SNES and Genesis sound chips put together.
0:01 fitting because I’m watching this in the toilet!
Idea! Worst levels ever but it’s just the entirety of DQVII
I'm positive that at least one person got a mouth fetish from this level or The Boy Who Cried Rat
10:34
WHAT
how are you supposed to know that
So in short after Stimpy ate Ren it turns out he found a Tooth Beaver infestation and falling Gritty Kitty Litter.
So Ren knocks the beaver off of the tongue. But why did the other beavers never leave after the boss is gone?
*sees thumbnail*
...
It's the mouth level. Isn't?
...
Ya, it is.
I feel like I've played the Gameboy version of this game. That sound for getting hit, the mousetraps in the first level... It seems familiar.
a lot of crash bandicoot ps1 instruments here
0:32 It's a wild Donald Trump!
unnerving
Great scott! another great Git upload!
With the Megadrive Mini 2 on the way, I'm expecting tons more in this playlist, just saying.
Ugh don't remind me about this game.. first part was okay, but the mouth? UGH. ALWAYS got thwomped by the upper jaw
And why did they make it so hard?
So this game wasn't a fever dream
I hated this game as a kid
What are your thoughts on the SNES Beat-em Up game, Ren and Stimpy Timewarp?
Never played it.
why doesn't ren just jump to the side
Don't tell the rest of the levels or boss battles are bad or worse in comparison to the earliest level? I want to find out thou
Uhmm first level looks like tom and jerry game on commodore 64
3:26 5:19 8:56 Waaaahahahaha
Wow, this is the _worst_ looking game I've ever seen. Holy cow. Why would anyone want to subject themselves to this? Or the show it's based on?
What do you mean? This game has good graphics
@@narcopsy I mean in a technical sense, they're well made, but they're _so_ unappealing that I can't stand to look at them at all
God I hate that Franchise
The Genesis game, made in-house at Sega of America, was better:
ua-cam.com/video/OOvWQeFuTKo/v-deo.html
It wasn't based on any episode(though it shared the name of one), but if you get past that, you'll find a surprisingly enjoyable platformer!
Just stay out of mouths in general.
