I’ve seen it rain here coming a flood on the front yard and sun is shining on the back yard. Mississippi is one of those southern states where you can have all four seasons in a weeks time.
I love your range of topics, what freaked me out was a couple of years ago seeing on UA-cam, snow in Texas that you could set fire too? 🤔👵🤐🇬🇧. 🌨 I don't recommend putting on your tongue, imo? ☕. Thank you for sharing this.
Rally cars often have a lock to lock of around 1.5 turns. Compare that to "family cars" with a 2.7~3.2. As long as there was some assist you could steer a rally car without the steering wheel much easier than the cars you find on the street.
I've witnessed those rains several times but the most insane one I've seen personally was where the rain clouds edge was literally on top of our house. My cousins told they're going to backyard to play all while on the other side of the house it poured down like no tomorrow in a way it seem'd like it was starting a storm and in backyard was like the perfect summer conditions with sunshine and clear sky.
Regarding those volcanos and lakes.. they have in the past been responsible for a lot of 'silent deaths' of livestock and villages - limnic eruptions killing them all with gas. Been attempts to mitigate them by degassing in a few areas, but as far as I know, the risks still remain, especially at Kivu. ---- As for hyper-localised rain, recall walking to campus one summer and having it lightly rain on one spot. The intersection at the crest of ridge was having a short 'sun shower'. Sky was blue, and the singular wispy cloud overhead looked too light to be the cause, but crossing the road was 'refreshing'.
I was chatting to my mum on phone in my back room, who was complaining it was raining, I said it wasn't here, we're only 10 miles away. Went to front room, torrential rain, mini flood rain water floating down street. Went to back room, matter of steps, same, clear, dry sky? 🤔 😅.
The Lake Kivu fire was not caused by bacteria. The world's largest methane gas pocket is under Lake Kivu. In fact there is a large methane mining facility located there. There was an earthquake that caused fissures to open up in the methane pocket. This was not the only fire caused. There were several smaller fissures that opened up around the lake. The internet was basically scrubbed within 24 hours of this happening. I have been following the story since it happened and everyone is very tight lipped about it. If the fissures are not all sealed, this will be a major environmental disaster as it can potentially lead to all the methane under Lake Kivu leaking out into the atmosphere and driving global warming to a runaway event that could turn the Earth into a place more like Venus. If the fissures were somehow sealed, you would think they would announce there is nothing to worry about, but no one is saying anything about this. It happened in 2021 as the result of an earthquake. This is a story that needs deeper investigation but the area is under Russian control by the mining company.

Or Ohio...
That rain happened to me yesterday. Just a small area of drizzle. No rain anywhere else.

Rain in one spot is called a cloud burst.
Either that, or someone stood over the fence with a hose.
"Die, Jedi dogs..... what did I just say???"

The bird really exists. Check out other pics of them it's really cool
That’s really stupid of the people to pet those wild birds like that though.
That lake once killed a few villagers around it, 200+ people, they only figured it out, when a neighbor in the hills came down one morning to trade!
