For those that don't know what she got was Pandemic Food stamps which is given to school kids that are on free or reduced lunch at school. The send these out in the summer to make sure they have hot meal in the summer while they are out of school. This isn't a monthly thing she didn't apply for Foodstamps her kids qualified so she got them and it's a blessing!!!

Right, I get food stamps and when my son went to college they said he didn't qualify to be on my food stamp case and took part of my food stamps. I'm like he is at a college a hour and half away he still comes home and eats on breaks and the summer and I still got to provide food for him while he at school. School don't provide all the meals. And i send him care packages. I could see if he was in another state. So I'm with you on that one.

For those of you with kids in college they can apply for there own food stamps my friend daughter get them and she is in college and lives at home she gets them separately from her mother so check in to it

Ahhhh don't I know that feeling Jazzy my son is 19 and when I got that P-ebt card in the mail a few of weeks ago it helps so much while he was home this summer from college I was so grateful and thankful I have not had or seen food stamps since he was 8 years old what a blessing that was. Girl meat is fine in the deep freeze! All you need to do is look up how long each meat is good for in the freezer, wrap it in freezer paper and write the date you need to use it by on it. So if it's a meat that will last 6 months in the freeze mark the date for 6 months out. Super simple. My family hunts so we have entire elk deer and bear in our huge freezers and you best believe it lasts us year round and is just fine no freezer burn nothing because we package it in proper freezer paper.

Man, you should have been got that card. I got money for the last two years. My last deposit was $435.00 for P-ebt. I only have 1 child. Keep the card. You should get a card for each child grade school age. They are supposed to be doing something with you get kids soon. It was also for when kids were out of school for an extended period of time during COVID. I guess every state is different. I have a deep freezer, but I just do a big grocery shopping and get several milks, breads and meats and freeze them so I don't have to shop as often, but it doesn't stay in for months.
