Santa Claus Village is just 7-8 km north of Rovaniemi, right at the Arctic Circle. There are many people that work at the village, as they have gift shops, restaurants, outdoor activities, so they have a variety of full time jobs there, and also Rovaniemi has 63.000 people leaving there all year round, with only one difference than most cities: It snows a lot in the winter, and the temperature can drop to -40 C. @@travelouidie4114
