    You really should do your homework before you jump in and start putting Loctite on action screws. If you would have consulted Savage you would have learned that both the front and rear action screws get torqued to 15 inch lbs. If you have them too loose or too tight you will loose accuracy.

      Action screw torque can affect accuracy. "Torque tuning" can increase accuracy IF one is willing to explore. .22LR ammo is relatively inexpensive so the process is worth trying.

    Ignorance makes consumers complain. They buy lower priced units and have irrational expectations then want to trash the product. Their lack of economics and inability to diagnose then perform basic tasks to correct/improve function causes them to bad mouth their decisions.
