M274A1 Mechanical Mule Brake Problem... Can I fix it?

I had to repost this video, the version that came out this morning was buried, I guess because I hadn't posted a new video in 5 weeks?
The brakes on my M274 A1 Mechanical Mule were stuck on when I brought it home, I sprayed some penetrating oil on the linkage a while back but they are still dragging a little bit.
In this video I remove the brake drum and inspect the brakes and linkage to find the problem.

I would like to see more. My 1969 A5 is down with a wheel seal and I need to replace the rubber boots. Just waiting for cooler weather. I have had it for 21 years. Farm use and Tractor shows.

Those things are a death trap. Those things killed a lot of soldiers. That's why the Army got rid of them.

Ya I can see that, there were absolutely no safety items in the design.
