Hey I just wanted to say thank you for these videos. I was only able to pass my GED Math test last week because of you. I passed Science on Tuesday and Social Studies yesterday all three with College Ready + Credit next week I’ll do Language Arts. You are changing peoples lives 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I stared GED in 2000 I gave up, then again in 2014. I passed 3 subjects in 2020, I got stuck with math 5 times, until this past Tuesday! I'm very thankful for his teaching because without seen his videos for the past month I will probably keep failing math!
I want to say thank you 🎉🎉, This channel helped me pass my 3 GED subject’s both practice and official, I love the way he explains make it so easy, I am not even a English native but I can understand super easy and thanks for explains the difficulty words, I passed the practice Language arts and tomorrow I will take the official one but first I netflixing this channel 😂🎉, keep on keeping on, I just wanna share and recommend 🎉🎉🎉
For sure. Since we're getting up an equation, here is another way to think of it: a^2 + b^2 = c^2 18^2 + 20^2 = c^2 724 = c^2 But here, to get c by itself, we have to square root both sides. We'd divide both sides by 2 if it was written: 724 = 2c But, since it's c^2, the opposite of squaring something is to square root it. So that's why we get √724 = √c^2 26.9 = c Hope that helps explain a bit more! 🙏🏻
Hey there,in question 4, the question about the volume of the sphere problem,why not 7.5 divided 2, 7.5 cam is diameter,not radius, to get an radius, isn't you supposed to divide the diameter with 2?
Hey there, since the 7.5 only goes half way across the sphere, that's the radius. So, we are already given the radius of 7.5 and can plug that into the formula without having to divide by 2!
Practice these! ➡ www.getsummath.com/pythagorean

Awesome! Congrats,

Thank you for the kind words, my friend! I'm so grateful that they were helpful for you 🙏🏻 All the best with your journey onwards!
That’s true you changed mine too ❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
Thank you so much I’ve been watching your videos for a few days now and I passed the math test that was my final test thank you so very much
Wonderful! Excellent work my friend 🙏🏻
You actually make sense I've watched a lot of videos and this is the only one that makes sense. Thank you!!
I’m glad it helps! I appreciate that! 🙏🏼

100% loving these straight to the point video lessons. Are the geometry and other questions on the test this straight forward?
Awesome! These are from the GED Math study guide, but they could be more complicated for sure 🤙🏼
@@GetSumMath With shapes they could give out the area and height and then ask that you find the base? or any other dimension.
@@u.b.g442 For sure! You can get a good sense with the practice tests on GED’s website. Use 50off to pay $3.50 instead of $7!
Thank you very much for the video Jennifer
You give me hope! Thank you!
You got this! Thank you, my friend!
thank you so much this really helps
Thank you sir 🙏
Can you explain why we square rooted on the first one instead of dividing?
For sure. Since we're getting up an equation, here is another way to think of it:
a^2 + b^2 = c^2
18^2 + 20^2 = c^2
724 = c^2
But here, to get c by itself, we have to square root both sides. We'd divide both sides by 2 if it was written:
724 = 2c
But, since it's c^2, the opposite of squaring something is to square root it. So that's why we get
√724 = √c^2
26.9 = c
Hope that helps explain a bit more! 🙏🏻
Thank you so much
😊 🙏🏼
Do you have a vid on exponents and roots? How often will these come up on GED?
I don’t yet! They usually have one in the no calculator section. Might work on that one for next week! 😜
Hey there! Just published a new video on exponents and roots 👍🏼 Hope it's helpful!

Done!
are the formula sheet present during the test? like can you look at it?
Yup! It'll be on the screen as a button you can click, or they should provide you a copy in the testing center 👍🏼
@@GetSumMath ok thank you!
