For those of you wondering, the puppeteer took the diploma because he knew that if the police saw it, they might discover they are good at acting, so the puppeteer could’ve been acting, (which he was) however he knew if the diploma wasn’t there, the police might think that they were just people looking for easy money,

I'd found a way to counter Vinnie's ankle-breaking circles, but you have to use your split second to aim at him for it to work
dude if you want to destroy all challenge the game has you can just hide under the bed the whole night (not sure if this still works) but you can also do it on night's one and two when the cat isn't around.
Feel like doing this if challenge is something you absolutely despise.

I love this Game. It actually Truly Encapsulates what a child who went through a traumatic experience Feels. I Used to have nightmares Like this when I was A Kid, Seeing something I Didnt want to remember. I love the way that the Games "Realisticly animated" Bits are all fantasy, while the 8-bit stuff is accurate. The Rat and Cat and Puppet attackin her as monstorised version of themselves is perfect because thats probably how they would appear to an afraid child. Honestly, I am sad that there arent Many Horror games that Take advantage Of Stuff Like this.

I don’t know why the Forgotten ending is so scary. This thing is genuinely trying to help you stay away from your nightmares by forcing you to not go to sleep. So you don’t have to stress over barely living or dying in your sleep. Thanks paper origami thing!

I figure this would be a good place to answer a few questions, I don't think an entirely new thread is required. (And I hope the mods won't see this as shameless advertising!)
This is the horror game I had talked about before, the one that will be made in UE4.
This will be a paid game (not pay-what-you-want, sorry), but don't worry, it'll be big enough to actually be worth money ;P
Those are not animatronics. I'm not going to just make a "free-roam FNAF clone". This game will be set in a world entirely different from anything in any game ever (hopefully). And the gameplay will be closer to something like RE7, but still not much.
There won't be voice-acting, these things can't speak.
Lollipop might not have any deeper meaning in the FNAC lore, but he is still a FNAC character! He's not from Project Opia. He was a medium to create a New Game+ so the game wouldn't just be the nights and a few story-minigames, even though I really do like his design.
There is no "physical" game yet. That means no gameplay footage can be shown right now. I've JUST finished FNAC 3, and I plan on taking a hiatus of several months where I don't spend 14 hours a day in front of my PC. Any work on Project Opia in that time will be designs and planning, so the game won't have to go through several iterations during development like FNAC 3 did. I want about 90% of the game fully planned out before I start working on it for real, that way I won't have to find out that it doesn't work, and then scrap a bunch of content to make room for new stuff (which will make it take way longer to actually finish the game).
This teaser is not an official announcement of the game, it's a little reassurance to everyone that I'm not gonna stop making games just because FNAC has ended. That is also why the game's real name is omitted, because the real game still is a secret (that, and so nobody steals it). That doesn't mean the image has nothing to do with the real game, however!

hanks man! Though, I have been designing ideas for games way before FNAC. In fact, my first game idea was when I was like 14, when I wanted to make a minecraft-clone where you could ride horses, cook food properly, throw rocks, climb trees, etc. (I know right? A minecraft clone? What was wrong with me? :P)
But Project Opia has been in my head for years now. It has gone through several redesigns already. At one point it was going to be a bit like SCP Containment Breach, but set in a museum where everything comes alive at night (SCP mixed with Night at the Museum). At another point, I was working on it in the Source Engine, even!
But FNAC was my first fully complete game. And I really appreciate the freedom Scott has given us. It's like I've been practicing botany in Scott's garden, and I'm now ready to venture out in the world on my own :P
Making the FNAC series has been a great way to learn every edge of making games!
yeah he might want to update the text, because it says that its not lollipops last game, and that something is already in the works. That is basicly a step down from saying, he is gonna be in project opia, and even then, he could have a cameo, or something. Like he is the mascot, of a popular brand in the game or something.

That forgotten ending is deep yet terrifying. Those eyes 👀
I think the Forgotten Ending represents this idea of, rather than trying to push through and overcome her trauma, Mary ends up coping unhealthily by taking out her anger on something innocent; the Origami Cat. The cat could symbolize anything, from her family, happy memories to maybe even an actual innocent small cat. The point is that she continues to hurt this thing that has done nothing bad to her and only wishes to help her, which eventually blocks her ability to recover from her trauma properly and transforms into an unrelenting, inescapable insomnia where she can never sleep in order to avoid her trauma altogether instead of confronting it.
I believe it has to do with the entire idea of forgetting things. Maybe Mary misses her mom so much that she just wants to forget her. So, she tries to forget the last memory of her mother, but trying to forget something only makes forgetting it harder. The eyes and the Origami Cat's dialogue show this concept by saying that he will always be a in her head no matter how hard she tries to forget.
I knew a guy who I used to consider a close friend until he abandoned me. I miss him very much and just want to forget him entirely, but now I just miss him even more and can't get him out of my head. I believe that the ending is a more exaggerated version of this. Mary misses her mother so much that she just wants to forget her entirely, but can't.
I honestly forget sometimes that Candy's is a fan game from fnaf, they are both so good and well put together and I just think they were made by two people that just had similar ideas. Candy's is almost as big as fnaf now and that is an incredible thought
I love that so much, can't wait for it to be ported to mobile and consoles so more people can play it and this time pay money for it! I will get all games on mobile and PS5

More-so even than scary, the Origami Cat ending is saddening.
In the grand scheme of the FNAF universe- in addition to the official and canon, also fan-games like Candy's- almost every character is the player's/MC's enemy.
Here, in origami cat, is a creature that genuinely loves the MC and wants to help her however he(?) can... and, if the player chose this ending, he is made to suffer for it, forgotten.
I really wish that this game also included a happy ending for Origami Cat, whereby not only is he not forgotten, but Mary renders cherishment to him, and he comes to the forefront of her mind, forever accompanying her through the dark events that come, knowing he is wanted and loved.

yeah I honestly don't like the jumpscare sound in FNaC 3. It's just way too loud. FNaF 4 and SL kind of have the same issue.
