Aue...Aue...Aue...being a mokopuna of a kuia who lived and breathed the Kingitanga and one whose adoration for the Kahui Ariki this makes me very sad. In her whare i remember as a child how she had two larders. One was the communial/whanau cupboard which had bread, dripping, Jam was a desert. In the kingitanga cupport you had biscuits, madeira cake, cheeses galore, my nanny (like many others) gave all her moni to the kingitanga through Poukai etc. We have 600 million dollars now. This is sad.
