CallMeMatt still has the best sounding exhaust thus far. Trenton's is certainly the best catless I've heard yet.

Nah, Brent Hecht & Marty Garcia have the TOP 2 exhaust. They have the deepest no rasp catless exhaust you could ever get and it’s all custom.

BBK longtubes, off-road X, with corsa sport at the back.. can’t beat it
the 4th one I feel was the best. not to loud but loud enough and mean sounding.
2nd one was my favorite it sounds amazing
I agree with the 11-14 roush axle backs sounding better

I have a soft spot for V6 pony cars. They sound really nice, and I would gladly own one by choice if muscle was my thing. I'm happy with my underpowered V8 land yacht though.
Another good vid Matt. I have my boys at the shop right now having the BBK Shorties installed. We will be picking it up this afternoon. I did purchase a set of the stock Ford OE manifold gaskets as the BBK’s are not very good IMO. He made a vid last night for the before exhaust sound and he will make another one with the after BBK sound. The only exhaust mod on the before vid is the Magnaflow Street Axle Backs. He made the vid with it just parked and doing 3 revs each at 1,500, 2K, 3K and 4K. I told him to make a vid as there are many discussions out there on just how the BBK Shorties change the exhaust note on the 3.7. I thought we would do our part to assist others with some...hopefully documented change in the sound. Your car does sound great, doing that custom H-pipe might be on the list for him also. I essentially have the same setup as the second and a lot of people say that it’s the best sounding v6 they’ve heard. I have the bbk shortys, gutted cats, resonator delete with the universal x pipe and the mbrp race axel back for the 5.0 mustangs

I’m running a Borla catback right now and it sounds nice, putting some BBK shorty headers on it in 2 days though and I’m excited to hear it after.

I’m completely new to mustang. Bought a 2013 V6 premium from an ole army buddy a few months ago. I love this channel and the vehicles but most of this is over my head. Anyone in the SC area?
Bbk long tube headers Down pipes resonated xpipes and magma flow quad tip axle back (no mufflers) I have an SCT 93 octane ghost cam race tune most people mistake it for a canned 5.0
They discontinued the lethal performance h pipe for the 3.7... sadly. Now they are pretty much like finding gold for anyone who wants this setup.
Informative video as I'm looking for a good sounding V6 exhaust setup without a lot of ricer / bumblebee with diarrhea sound that seems so popular among the smaller engine displacement crowd. However, at 2:18, I hope you misspelled the user's IG tag. You say it's "rogue.6r" but it's on the screen it appears as "rouge.6r" which isn't "rogue" (as in a BA) but rather "rouge" (as in makeup). Either way I had a good LOL at that. I hope you misspelled it because I'd hate to know that someone out there is thinking they are a BA with a BA name when it's really not. The sadder thing would probably be that none of "rouge.6r"'s followers would be smart enough to be able to tell him he misspelled his IG tag.

To bad in Cali we cannot change anything forward of our catalytic converter without getting a ticket, fine, or car impounded. Got some BBK headers, but can't put them on.. Did do an x-pipe and 2 1/2 inch piping after the catalytic converter with the resanator delete, and kept my Roush mufflers on though. Nice 👍 sounding stangs though.
When the mustang crossover comes out you won’t have to worry about making it sound good

I need help with getting rid of the check engine light on my 2016 V6 Stang. I have BBk long tube headers, BBk H pipe and Borla exhaust. I've tried swapping out CO2 sensors and still have that check engine light. Help please! Need that cold start.😢

How do you think it would sound with basically just the roush axle backs?
I had Roush axle backs on my 2012..very raspy..and the longer I had them, the worse they got. I went to my local exhaust shop and had 12 inch glass packs installed right before the rear axle..deepened the tone and took away all the rasp, sounded very good for little $.

Mine aint nothing special, but i believe its great for a daily driver, i have bbk shorty headers, then i have the BORLA ATAK catback exhaust. It very loud when you floor its, but quiet on idle and cruise. Check it out.
Why is the Borla S-Type exhaust not in the Video? Many V6 driver say its the best sounding exhaust. I have the Roush exhaust but its too raspy for me. Do you Think the Borla is the right exhaust for me?

When I had my s550 3.7 it had bbk shortys, stock cats, x pipe, and flow master outlaws. It sounded pretty damn good imho.
The thunderbird have de O2 fault on with de bbk cats and does he have aftermarket air intake

Did you get a tune after upgrading your exhaust, or did you keep the stock tune? Is it still capable of running on 87/89?
For lethal performance do I need to tune the car to turn off the CEL or I can add spacer to turn the CEL
I have full stock exhaust with just muffler delete. But the cats are coming off next.

That's interesting. What you're describing is a textbook example of Sunk Cost Fallacy, one of the most common financial irrationalities. Basically, you see more value in something than it's worth, just because you have invested money into it. It's like watching a movie you don't enjoy just to "get your money's worth out of it".

Personally I think that the 3.7 sounds good with a flow master super 10 1 ft off the cats and strait piped after the super 10

I have a EcoBoost 2019 but if i had the Choice id rather have an na v6 than the EcoBoost. I dont like turbocharged engines everything is so dependent on intake air temps and fuel. There are days where it feels slow as shit. And the fuel economy is bullshit. Mine barely gets 24mpg combined. Thats really sad for such a low displacement engine.

Yo what do you think of bbk long tube headers? Most of these have the shorties. I’m debating it right now. I feel like long tubes are gonna be better for me for sound BUT shorties are a hell of a lot easier to fit that’s for sure😅
More power output and a more raspy tone but you can cancel it out with an h pipe and longer tips. If you ever plan to put on a turbo shorties are the way to go

Everyday Trev Depends. You can recreate your sound with just one simple muffler delete. But if you mean to go all out, than probably a little close to 1700 (factoring in installation). But that’s only if you plan to go all out, you can get a great sound for less than half this price.

CallMeMatt, Quick question, I practically got the same set up as you except I installed the Full Enchilada, The off road h pipe, along with bbk shorties and Roush AB. Loud as a Mf. Ive had it on for about 3 weeks and it mellowed down a bit from the first week but still loud. You have any idea how it would sound if i had a similar set up as yours but deleted the resonators?
