If you like this video... Jesus... Check out his Sound Design Course. Its the first time I recommend a course at all!
Im used to have 2-3 go to synths, and at least 10 more (bought over the past 2 years)... After this course, I sell at least 10 of them!
You are seriously the best. I've messed with granulator for a minute, but I LOVE how you present stuff. You seem like an awesome, authentic dude. Thanks for the tutorials.
Get 2 birds stoned at once was always one of my favorite Ricky-isms lol. Man your channel has become my favorite production channel on UA-cam, I'm probably going to start some of your paid classes soon. Thank you so much for the great info & great teaching style as well. Big ups 👍🙏
Nice! Granulator is OLD but its still the best one out there. One thing to mention is that you can control the position with the keyboard using the KEY parameter below but if you dont want to change pitch, you can put KEY below pitch to zero (in FILTER view)
I remember when this channel had just over 500 subscribers. Wow, look at you now! Awesome teaching skills man!!
As a semi-nube to Ableton - but not to Production - I appreciate your tutorials, and the relaxed way you go about them. You do a great job at starting with a simple concept to feature the controls of something and then proceed to get 🤯with it! AND you clearly look like you enjoy making music! Thank you for your time and good energy! Love from Toronto!
Dude, I really enjoy watching your videos. Thanks for the Upload!
Videos like this actually convince me more and more to upgrade to Ableton 11, after dropping $500 to upgrade from Live 9 Intro to 10 Suite a couple of years ago. But I have Granulator I, so probably still waiting until 12 comes out, haha. Great tutorial.
These are simply amazing: I can’t keep up with trying to work through the back catalog. Will definitely order the composition course.
Really nice Anthony, so much Ableton wisdom - Congratulations
Amazing demonstration.
Thanks for the tutorial! there are so many amazing things in Live to explore!
Brilliant, thanks for sharing!
Ur killing it. So good
Amazing vid again. Much love
Yes. Love anything having to do with Robert Henke's Granulator II. Old as it is, there's still so many applications that haven't been fully explored for the device.
...that said, as someone who turned me on to the Grain Scanner, you'll haven't to forgive me if I haven't touched Granulator II in over a year and a half.
Very handy tutorial! Thanx
Great work
Amazing tutorial 👍🏼
Awesome vid! Just saw your band is playing at backwoods festival 2021 .. I'll be there
"two birds stoned at once"! lol i'm definitely using that one :)
Ricky from Trailer Park Boys
@@irishmossdubwise haha! I wasn't aware, that's great.
Look up Rickyisms on UA-cam. You'll laugh. Great series.
@@vnayini show is an enigma. So much comedy tries to be smart and is stupid. This show tries to be stupid and is brilliant. The character development from its beginning to current is amazing. Endearing to say the least.
this thumbnail is the kind of clickbait I want ahahahah I just HAD to check it out. Your channel is helping me a lot in my Ableton incursions, there is A TON of good stuff here. Thank you :)
Man... You are great
YES! Trailer Park Boys "Two Birds Stoned at Once"! Also, I've been getting super into Granulator II. I appreciate the example using clip warping (been reading and messing around, but like your explanation). I definitely didn't really get the Time Scan part... Great application to snares and vocals. I've been putting mine in an instrument rack and macro mapping parameters. Combined with saving variations can make lots of different "instrument presets"... also totally keep forgetting about the filter section...
Very very nice!!
Next level knowledge for me wooow. I've just created my best track ever after watching this. Getting goosebumps...
Is there anything else like Granulator II? In the same genre of audio manipulation. Thanks a lot. I'm taking a closer look at all your content.
NICE!
Thank you!
so good man. wow.
This is amazing
Class stuff!
OK. This definitely deserves a subscription!
I was thinking of buying quanta, but i think ill try to figure this granulator thingy out first :D
Hey man, I got a nice Granulator 2 tip for you.....I call it " Continuous granulation " ....basically I've found a way to feed a constant stream of audio into Granulator 2 .....check it out man .
Wow! My brain is melting and my mind is blowing. That reverse thing on 6:20... Man...
You are genius! No other words but genious!
Very helpful!
fantastic thank you!!
Man....that is way cool!
Nice! I always wished there were a way to sync the grain sizes up to BPM of the track.
Dude happy to see, trailer park boys is a timeless serie :D
10/10 fabulous
This is crazy!!!😲
Wow.... Another nail in the FL coffin!!!!!
Dope 🙌
Flume Entered the Chat.
Absolutely BA
Two birds stoned at once, brilliant 😂
kickass snare
Suh guuud!
Top!!
Wow.
Hey so the sound design course is a video like this on every Live instrument and effect?
If I already have songs made, can i go back in and adjust the volumes of each track, how?
I've been recording all my tracks pretty much up right befor they clip, like an idiot i guess,i assumed they would be too low otherwise if i were to record them quieter, what's the best starting point in volume to start each track?
Where should I leave master volume at?
Sorry three separate questions.
I'm scheduled to perform tomorrow, I thought it was easy just to connect your Ableton to OBS the same way as you connect to a game, and wow, no I was wrong. I'm having a huge headache, trying to get this together. I need advice and help
woah
I saw on your website that you offer 40 off ableton. Is that correct ? How does that work ? Im looking to get into ableton and your courses seem to offer a lot.
It's an educational discount. You get the software with the link I provide and you show them the email receipt from getting the courses and they activate your serial for Ableton Live.
@@SeedtoStage Just one more quick question. Do you need to have an actual educational/college email to be able to use such serial or not. I believe this is the case if you go through ableton directly, yes ?
Four tet 2017 vibes
Bit like Akai’s S900 samplers
It’s really not rocket appliances..
Don't forget using the built in LFO to modulate the file position and other parameters!
Carl Sagan
Very helpful!
