I just got them and the first problem is if you go true to size they fit tight as hell. I went up a half size and they fit much better but that heel slips a bit. I broke them in and noticed right out of the box the traction was insane. Lacing them up tight prevents heel slippage but the thin tongue hurts the top of your foot with the laces too tight. After playing a few games I felt the cushion break in and they felt nice and bouncy. Many more pros than cons with these bad boys. Just don't go true to size if you have a wide foot because you will be returning them for the 1/2 size up.

I went half a size up to cater to my bigger foot. Horrible heel slippage on the smaller foot, and consequently recovering from Achilles tendinitis along with bursitis. Tried double socking and an Achilles sleeve to no avail. Ordered a Zamst At-1 Achilles brace to prevent further injuries. This is a great shoe but buyer beware. Go true to size, unless you have a brace or wide feet. The shoes will stretch over time and are excellent when they fit properly.
Just got today. Went to go play, and really hate the heal slippage. No lockdown, and my heel goes out alot, feel unsecure and thats how I sprained my ankle last time. Besides that it’s perfect, really bad ankle design. U need like giant ankles for it to be good

That being said… you just have to really crank on the laces and get them tight and slippage goes away. Really good shoe otherwise

Just a quick correction, zoom strobel isn't on top of full react midsole (5:55). I do want to get these,but, that heel slippage is really holding me back... You're not the only one stating this issue
Actually, the zoom strobel is sitting on cushlon foam. Foot Doctor Zach did a teardown of it.

Cushioning took a step back, a lot of heel slippage, mediocre lateral support. Had to return my pair
Lateral support is so bad I rolled my ankle 3 times in them already I had to get an ankle brace for them to be functional only reason I didn’t return em is cuz the ankle brace saved em . The heel slip was bad to but eventually they broke in and stopped
@@GoatySonny damn. I rolled my ankle in em from just cutting to get a pass smh. I’m surprised the heel slippage stopped for you. It’s prolly the ankle braces that stopped that
Double the laces through the top eyelet fixed heal slippage for me

do you think these are good dunking shoes? i heard the 14’s are amazing dunk shoes but i went ahead and bought the 15’s because of the aesthetics. if you believe the 14’s are better for dunking ill probably swap them out. thanks for the super detailed review.
I like jumping in the 14s more. 15s are good too. Just a matter of personal preference
Would probably stick to 15's because they have a stiffer shank. You can watch foot doctor zach's vid and decide
14 is bulkier and higher, probably not great for dunks

I had heal spurs with the 14s and not with any of my 3 pair in the 12s. Reason why? Would the 15 be better and firm as i think the 14s were to soft

Would these be good for a wide + flat footer? I get arch pain from a lot of shoes the only shoes i been able to play on for years now was the Lebron 15 low, but they been wearing down lately and need a new pair of bball shoes
yeah the kd shoes are great for flat footers in my experiences

Lockdown is one of the most important elements for me and this kind a misses the mark. Just got a pair of KD 2s in the mail, the old ones, and the lockdown is insane. With todays technology, how do you explain the fact that they can’t even get heel lockdown correct before anything else? If you’re heel slipping nothing else matters
So true! Been having issues with many of their models lately. Was never an issue back in the days for me. Last good shoe I've had , fit wise, was the kyrie 2 low..
Best shoe for me. The only minor issue is the heel slippage. Yeah, I wish they address that in the next KD shoe issue.

I had heel slippage until I manually pushed the heel of the shoe to the toe of the shoe to break them in.Then, no more slippage

Played 2 hours indoor on these. The traction is on point even on a dusty court. Durability is hard to say but the rubber feels soft so I wouldn't take them outside.
It is my dream shoes.

I love and ALWAYS Get a snugg fit. Normally a 9.5 is perfect. I guess My question is what size what size do you usually wear and what size would you have gotten to have you toes touching toebox but not so much to where your feet go numb after a few games lol? In mein other Shoes or Jordan 1 I have size 11. Last year in der KD14 i had 11,5. I order the KD15 in size 11 and 11,5. For me 11,5 is better. i go half size up. As i tried the 11, my toes touch the front. the feeling was worst. i wear the nike elite socks.

Traction works amazing with translucent I use to be skeptical as well but the traction on these are great
@@brianhall8489 oh that's good to hear traction is super important with out it, it doesn't matter how great the cushion is cause you won't be able to play at your best.
are kd15’s good on wide footers?
get them a .5 size bigger. that’s what i did since i have a wide foot
Na my boy, ya wanna go up a size fo real, ima be honest man don't hoop but when I put these on for day to day use they were real tight on a slightly wider foot, they do however give a little bruv but I'm a UK 9 (US10). I'd have exchanged em BUT like I say I don't hoop so ain't so much a problem. I'm afraid tho ima have to disagree with my guy here as personally I found the KD 14 a better fit and all round shoe for comfort and tbh I prefer the strap on the KD14 to. Don't get me wrong tho I'll still be buying every released pair like I did the KD14's but I'll be getting a size up on each other pair. Hope this helps bruv, amazing shoe tho, go cop it my boy !!!!!

Super snug. My feet looks very fat in these shoes. Can’t go half a size up because heels slippage will be worst. Just go TTS and break it in.
