That sushi looked positively fantastic; especially the sashimi (the individual pieces of raw fish). Love the scenes from Muscat. This is a great idea for a scenic voyage on a less common itinerary on a ship with room to move around and not be drowning in crowds everywhere!
Had such a good time laughing while watch the video at your diner "orgams" at the what was it, you did mention it a couple of times, oh ya... sushi bar ...hahaha....also enjoyed the night shots of the port and marina areas.
Thanks! Yeah, when we record lots of individual shots without much of a plan, we don't always realise we're repeating ourselves until the shots are edited together. Even then it's not until the vlog is finished that I think 'wow, I said xxxx a lot! We're still on the learning curve!
Hi Andy & Kirstie, My wife and I are cruise virgins. We are a similar couple to yourselves. We are looking to go on one winter 23/24 I like the look of discovery as it's smaller rather than the massive P & O type . What do you think would suit us? What do you guys prefer.. TUI do one that includes Aqaba and Muscat but there are alot of see days Thanks Paul
Andy & Kirstie, Another wonderful Video with amazing views of the city and port area. always nice to see the ships in the port area. I love sushi so that looked wonderful and based on your comments you really liked it. I have found that Sushi bars or sushi dinning options are appearing are other cruise lines. Thanks again.
Me and my husband enjoy watching your vlogs we are going on the Marella Discovery next February which we are really excited we will definitely be trying the sushi bar it looked amazing looking forward to your next vlog 😀👍
Another great video. Hope you don’t mind, I shared a link to your vlog 1 with the Marella cruises (Thomson Cruises) Facebook group. It went down a treat.
My wife and I are going on the cruise in November sailing from Aqaba and then going to India and finishing in Sri Lanka. Before your trip did you purchase the local currencies or was it possible to get it from the ship prior to disembarkation. Love your vlogs, keep up the good work
You won't be able to get Indian currency outside of India, although it's easy to change at the ports. We did get currency before travelling for our Middle Eastern ports though. Have a great time!
Definately trying the Sushi Bar and great scenery on todays trip and also another great vlog and filmed with lovely music.

Yeah, I was almost speechless when I started eating! We would love to go back to the Middle East. There's so much more to see and do.

We definitely prefer a Marella ship than the big P&O ships for sure. Don't think you'd go wrong on any of the Marella ships.
@@andyandkirstie Thanks very much for the answer,
I'm glad you said that because I like the look of Marella much more .👍

There were quite a variety of vessels in the small port. Yes, the sushi was amazing, thanks!

Just managed to finish the vlog, now I'm not a great lover of cooked fish let alone raw but that Sushi did look amazing!
Thought there were no cruises in 2019 bec of Covid so couldn't book
Nobody had heard of Covid when we went on that cruise. It didn't stop cruise travel until well into 2020.
Cool, sort of! :-)
You dissin' the hat? 😂
@@andyandkirstie Something you could only wear on holiday. Works a treat there though. ;-)
I quite like Kiesties red outfit in this video
Thanks!
