At the end of the day, Bane was the ONLY one who matched ALL the requirements. Every other Sith lord was merely a pretender. Bane was totally free of all restrictions, destroyed the Sith order and made them a thousand times stronger to the point they finally won.

Anakin Skywalker was the chosen one for the Jedi and Darth Vader was the chosen one for the Sith. Anakin fulfilled the prophecy when he regained control over Darth Vader and destroyed the most powerful Sith Lord in history. When Darth Vader took control he destroyed everywhere he went. He helped Palpatine take complete control of the entire galaxy. Anakin and Vader may be the same person physically but both characters are definitely different.

Could it be because none of the Sith trusted one another? They were in constant conflict for dominion. So if one of them had a true vision of the Sith'ari, why would they share such an accurate vision?
Darth Sidious believed he was the Sith'ari, because he was the culmination of the Rule of Two.
The fact is the Sith'ari and the Jedi Chosen One were one and the same: Anakin and Vader!
Anakin was never meant to be Jedi or Sith, he was the Force's Chosen One!
Both foresaw him through the lens of their own beliefs!

While the main part of the Chosen One prophecy is that they will bring Balance to the Force. The main part of the prophecy of the Sith’ari is that they will destroy the Sith and make it stronger than ever. Palpatine (not Anakin/Vader) created the Empire which last awhile 1 generation and was plagued by war of some kind throughout. So it’s stretch to even say that this even works backwards for the prophecy.

      I believe this as well!
Think about it, what Anakin decides to do in that moment before choosing, ultimately fulfills either prophecy true!
Had he chose the Jedi their prophecy of ending the sith pretty much comes when they need it the most! (When sidious is already nearing his endgame)
(And the sithari obviously isn’t sidious if he needed anakin to help him get an edge on mace..)
Which brings us to anakin’s choice…
He chose the sith and allowed the sith to actually take advantage in the galaxy and remade the sith by allowing them to live like the Jedi in the open, and had the Jedi running in the shadows living like rats…
No he was NOT what the sithari should be by definition, but he is ultimately the sword they got dealt..
      Bane was the creator,
Meaning he created the path for the rise of the sithari..
      Sidious was the heir,
Meaning he set himself up to take over the galaxy once the sithari rose… (which sidious believed was himself)
      But anakin was the sithari!
And ultimately it was his choice and decision that day that made sure either way he chose a prophecy would be fulfilled..

Well technically anakin did destroy the sith, and even though he didn’t rebuild it stronger, it did survive…
      I agree that there are numerous things that doesn’t line up with anakin as far as the sithari goes.. however;
As someone else pointed out, the sith were known to lie, cheat, and kill each other over small things…
Do you really think anyone of the sith that had visions of the sithari would actually give exact and accurate details if say they saw that the sithari would be a whiny little boy with great power? Or say the first human to win a pod race? Or that the boy would be born with no father? These are things that would prove they themselves are not the true sithari… so wouldn’t you expect a cult full of lying, cheating, murderous people…
To claim they’re “chosen one” as a bad ass that nobody could ever live up to…?
Then even the worthy lords like Bane, you still have something to point out and prove they are not the “sithari” because the definition is set by foresight that doesn’t exist…

@@jamesirons963 Most all Sith were on a massive ego trip, true. But, one fulfilling a prophecy in one’s own mind or partially fulfilling such or setting up your own self-fulfilling version of it and fulfilling that or kinda fulfilling a prophecy from a certain point of view is not the same as actually fulfilling prophecy.
At the end of the day, most people’s preferred version of prophecy too often just means profit for someone/s.
If you have a prophecy, then in order for it to be truly fulfilled it must be seen without any filters, as it was given.
Anakin/Vader fulfilled the Chosen One prophecy. His progeny kept it. But, he in no way beyond one line fulfilled the prophecy of the Sith’ari. “He will destroy the Sith” isn’t enough.

While I do subscribe to the idea that Darth Bane was the Sith'ari, I feel compelled to mention that he did have limits. The most prominent being his body. As he got older and as his power in the Dark Side grew, his body began to break down, manifesting as and uncontrollable palsy in his hand from time to time. Even he knew that he could not stop this and that his body would only continue to falter as time went on. He did attempt to circumvent this via Essence Transfer, but that ultimately failed to do anything but manifest the Palsy in Zannah.

As Keria had said, looking at Revan was like looking at the Force itself. Both the dark and the light, Revan was also insanely powerful, being basically on par with Vitiate in terms of the force, and exceeding him in terms of capability as a duelist. Sure, when Revan first encountered him, he lost, the second time he also lost, but I imagine it was a lot closer. The third time, he lost, but only because he was betrayed, if not for that then he probably would've won even if Scourge didn't help, but it was Scourge's actions which lead to Revan losing yet again.

I think Revan WAS the sithari
As TSW concludes the title sithari functions more as the values a true sith should uphold in the same way the title of mandalore serves to embody the values of mandalorians.
I dont remember if it was TSW or someone in the comment section, but someone had the idea that revans rule of 2 was his master plan to destroy the sith and the jedi.
From this perspective, revans rule of two ultimately led to the best ideals of both light and dark to be embodied by luke and his new order.
Luke represents the sith and jedi remade.

After more thought I've changed my mind
I do not think Revan was the sithari because i think his contribution to the sith was actually taught to him his master, Kreia, Darth Treya
Kreia Literally resurrected and made stronger some of the greatest sith lords of all time and her teachings are what lead to revan and the rule of 2 adopted by Bane
While it is a stretch, i believe Kreia did lead and destroy the sith in that revans actions were mostly by her design
Also I feel like a "true" sith actually wouldnt actively be trying to serve the darkside, since the nature of those who wield it are only concerned with their own power

If the Sith'ari was to destroy then resurrect the Sith to be more powerful, I'm of the opinion it was Darth Bane because he destroyed the brotherhood of darkness and resurrected the name Darth. Yet to be free of limits, it doesn't mean he escaped death, but went beyond to preserve the order, I think. Knowing Darth Bane had the orbalisk armor to preserve himself to teach Darth Zannah until she was deemed acceptable to replace him, again, I think that would fulfill the prophecy. This is a hunch knowing the Darth Bane trilogy. Even though there were Darths before Bane, I think of him as the founder of the Rule of Two and how much that was key to the Jedi's downfall. It's speculative theory but I think it's something noteworthy.

To be honest, the only Sith who could be said to come close to being "with out limit", would be Vitiate, but even he did not fit the other criteria.
A true singular Sithari would need to be able to hold the same power as Vitiate, able to casually create entire pocket realities, as well as rule the sith and remake them better than before.
Sidious was not without limit, nor did he remake the sith, or destroy them.
Bane was also not without limit, but he did destroy and remake the sith...
Vitiate, was without limit, but he cared not for the sith or jedi, and had no intention to remake them.

I wish that Star wars would show more about his birth and his life growing up now that would be a great show
Or perhaps a movie on the shadows of the empire
It seems like the Star wars movies are based around the prophecy of Anakin Skywalker his life and the events that transpired during his lifetime and his childrens life and aftermath of their life and everything that happened during that time
I just wish that Star wars would delve more into these so-called Star wars prophecies that would make for an incredible story
Maybe Star wars is piecing together a story of the force because if you think about it the actions of Anakin and many of the events are not as much as Anakin Skywalker's fault but it is just the will of the force because Anakin truly was the chosen one because if you think about it the Jedi and the sith were in the wrong because they were both tainted and disrupted by the actions of each other so kind of like in the sense of the biblical Great flood Anakin was purifying the Galaxy of these tainted Force users by killing off the Jedi and ending the sith but failed as sidious still had clones of himself but then Anakin grandchildren ended this along with sidious granddaughters rey and then the Skywalker family dies thus ending the prophecy and the forces will with these offspring of anakin

Its funny since there is fluff that says the ancient Rakata gave the red skinned race on Korraban the name Sith and gave Ada his title of Darth. For you see Sith means 'Betrayers' in Rakata and Darth means 'King or Lord of the Betrayers'. It wasn't even necessarily meant as an insult, for the Rakata respected the Sith's power and connection to Dark Side. That also means Sith'ari would translate to something along the lines of 'Betrayer of All and Lord of All Betrayers'.

By the argument presented here, I think Stupendous placing Darth Bane as the Sith'ari is extremely merited and probably correct. I love how at the end of the video, it discusses the idea that Sith'ari could be a taken title every thousand or so years. That's exactly how I envisioned it. This would be an incredible story arc of potential for Lucasfilm to look into for the future. As in Star Wars stories of the deeper future. The new Star Wars show "Acolyte" takes place 100 years before Episode 1. And the upcoming film project "The First Jedi" is supposed to be 25,000 years before Episode 1. So, what about centuries or millennium after Episode 9???
This Sith'ari prophecy arc could be a key to properly expanding this timeline and galaxy.

I don't think Vader, Sidous, or Raven exactly fit. Where Sidous is strong on his own I don't see how he made the Sith stronger(unless you count converting the chosen ONE, but it didn't have last), he does fit other two of the freedom and destroying them ok.

This is really off topic but something I found kind of interesting. The theory that the sith ari is a title held by whoever was required to hold it at the time is very similar to a theory of a real prophecy concerning the anti-christ. Many people like to use the tile of “anti-christ” to describe a particular political figure they don’t like, but some people speculate that every generation has an anti-christ but only one is the one prophesied of in the Bible. The reasoning is that only God the father knows when the Day of the Lord will occur and only Him. No one, not even Satan knows the day. So in the meantime Satan works in the background of the world with a certain figurehead under his direct influence at any given time. This idea is in line with his past actions as he is seen being the force behind the king of Tyre in Ezekiel 28. A notable example of a potential anti-christ was emperor Nero of the Roman empire and his bloodthirsty persecution of the church and evident madness. Again, completely random and off topic, but interesting nonetheless lol

I think Sideous is the Sith'ari, as a) he cast aside the rule of two by creating the inquisitors, and b) he literally resurrected the Sith from the dead by successfully pulling off essence transfer after dying. Vader and Sideous were the last of the Sith, and when Vader returned to the light this left only Sideous. Hence, by his own resurrection the Sith were resurrected as well. The Sith then continued on Exogul where Sideous began his renaissance supported by his dark side servants and cultists. By the end of Rise of Skywalker, he embodied the sum total of all Sith efforts, resources, and knowledge that had contributed to his grand plan to rule the galaxy. He was the most powerful Sith of all time, but unfortunately was undone by Rey's plot armor.

In my own head cannon, I would like to think that Anakins true purpose was to take the fathers place on Mortis. But because the will of the force was broken so much by the sith, that it altered Anakins decision to stay.
The jedi would fall due to Sidious, but Sidious would die from the father (Anakin) once the power tipped so far to one side. The father even says the Mortis gods only ever interfere once balance is to far gone.
Again, in my head cannon, Luke was the forces last ditch effort in restoring balance. Whiles hes not the chosen one, hes the next best thing. I understand leia is force sensitive, but I would like to think Luke is the one that inherited the true power to restore balance.
And if we want to tie in the squeals trilogy, then I think the only reason the sith were almost able to rise again is because the force no longer has the ability to have balance. Think about it, the father, daughter, and brother are dead. The beings that where meant to keep balance or at least some semblance of balance no longer exists. The sith ari has absolutely got to be the “rule of 2” that rule being out in place basically did exactly what the sith chosen one was supposed todo though sidous was the only Sith Lord to reach the super high power across the galaxy.. but without the rule of 2 this would’ve never been able to happen.. and because the sith chosen one has been fulfilled around this time then the Jedi chosen one also was being fulfilled at the same time with anakin transforming into Vader fulfilling that prophecy.

  • @Brutalyte616
    @Brutalyte616 5 місяців тому

Well you have to remember that the prophecy doesn't specify what order these events will take place in or their context. The prophecy referred to the Sith as a people, and not the exiled Jedi Schismatics who would become the Lords of the Sith. So the prophecy may literally revolve around the Sith race and not the Sith Order.
However, if we are to assume that the prophecy was about the Sith Order and not the Sith race and that the prophecy came to pass with the destruction of the last vestiges of the original Sith Order with the deaths of Sidious and Vader, then it makes sense for Anakin to be the Sith'ari if we view his accomplishments individually.
As Darth Vader, Anakin publically lead the Sith as Palpatine never announced himself as Force-sensitive or as a Sith Lord even after becoming Emperor, but Anakin was a known member of the Jedi and anyone with knowledge of the Sith would have immediately recognized him as one once he became Darth Vader, but he also destroyed the Sith twice over; once by killing Dooku, and another by killing Palpatine and dying.
On that note, Anakin resurrected the Sith Order that seemingly died with Dooku and managed to establish a new galactic Sith Empire, and he ultimately planned to kill Palpatine, supplant his role as Emperor, and secure the Skywalker line as the rulers of the galaxy, and in a way the Jedi Order that Luke created later were just better because they weren't traditional Jedi or Sith but instead organically taught Force users, i.e. stronger and better Sith, and as a byproduct of Anakin's lineage, it could be said that Anakin created the new Jedi Order.
While alive as Darth Vader, Anakin obviously had limits, but upon his death, he found peace and became one with the Force as a Force Ghost, meaning he truly has no limits, or at least none of the limits of his mortal body.
You can also entertain the notion that Luke is also the Chosen One of the Sith and Jedi prophecies, but having it be Anakin and not relying extensively on the Legends continuity after the conclusion of Return of the Jedi and the loaded question of whether either prophecy had been fulfilled makes more sense to me when viewing Return of the Jedi itself as the natural end of the Star Wars narrative.

Like what your thoughts in the early part of video suggests to me is , what if the chosen one prophecy for both he light and the dark sides are just skewed interpretations of the same prophecy ? In that case , the chosen one that destroyed the Sith was a Skywalker , it just wasn’t Anakin . The Skywalker that I speak of that destroyed the Sith was Rey Skywalker . She fought the Emperor and turned his own power on him , to take him and all of the Sith followers that he had gathered that temple on Exogol , and destroyed the Sith order . That made her the Jedi Chosen One .

To paraphrase Yoda, prophecies can be misinterpreted.
Regardless of who the "Chosen One" was, Sidious not only believed it to be Anakin but was arrogant enough to think that he could control the conflicted Jedi. Had Anakin not been weakened he most certainly would have made a move against the Emperor.
I guess where I'm going with this is that the prophecy surrounding Anakin was always going to be self defeating. Two sides laying claim to someone who is so powerful with an arrogance to match it, yet so conflicted while being laser focused on what he wanted, was never going to end well.
The Jedi Order recognized his power but refused to give him special treatment. Sidious understood what Anakin could become and was willing to take the chance because "unlimited power."
As an aside, could it be argued that Anakin himself fulfilled the Sith version of the prophecy? By "destroying" himself, he in a sense destroyed the Sith. Then he "rebuilt" the Sith by becoming a new version and embodiment of them. This is really stretching things but does it work? He was the Chosen for both Jedi and Sith and fulfilled both prophecies. Being redeemed by Luke was the final piece. Or perhaps it was irrelevant.

I personally believe that the Sith'ari was Lord Radas/Darth Imperious. Never heard of him? I thought not. It's not a story the archives would tell you; it's a fanon legend. Lord Radas was a Pureblooded Sith descendent of Adas born during the Great Galactic War. Starting out in the Sith Academy as a former slave, his conversations with its instructor Lord Abaron would convince him that the Sith Order had become tainted by its inclusion of other species, such as humans, and sought to reestablish the old Sith Kingdom, starting by weeding out the corruption and infighting in Vitiate's Sith Empire. Through his machinations during the Galactic Cold War, and subsequent war, he rose to the Dark Council and was given the title of Darth Imperious.
Little is known of him after that other than whispers of him establishing a Pact with Lord Scourge, Lord Praven, and Lord Abaron, who along with him disappeared from galactic records sometime after.
...that is, until the Legacy Era, after the Fall of Darth Krayt's One Sith, but that's another story.

Darth Vader is being shown here but .... The Sith Ari was Darth Bane for sure.
Bane got rid of the pretenders, did away with the issues that plagued the sith for eons like infighting and scheming against their own progress.
Reducing the order to two members at a time, and putting a cease to weaker members ganging up on Masters and beating Masters that way.
A Master to embody the power of the darkside and one apprentice to crave it, and that apprentice can only become Master by putting His or Her Master down in a " fair one " (fair fight) as we call it around the way in nyc . Bane established all this. And in 1,000 yrs Bane's order took the galaxy via Darth Sidious and Darth Vader. And..... It did appear Darth Bane rid Himself of His personal restrictions.
P.S. Darth Bane also even reinstituted the Darth title which the Brotherhood of darkness was afraid to use.

He may not have layed out his own order....but it was forged nearly in his image as other sith would use vader and sidious as an outline of how to totally fulfill the grand plan. Those sith were also some of the strongest in history, and the dark side powers shown by the Skywalker bloodline rivaling any of the previously mentioned sithari outside of maybe vitiate.
