I am a young guy and my best friend who was in her 60's had ALS. She used to ask me to play this song and every time she listened to it she would cry. She just recently passed away and it has been really hard on me because I lost a best friend. When I listen to this song I think about what she was going through and how ALS was challenging her courage. This song has touched her heart so softly but meant so much more. Thank you for the lyrics and beautiful voice you put into this song, Celine Dion, you made someone who dealt with the most horrific challenges a person could face hold onto the courage she thought she was losing.
