We had our niece and she can be a handful even at 7 yrs old I had to put her in time out 3x for being disrespectful and too aggressive with sissy. I can so relate to the "I'm little and the truck is big" comment. I'm short and can barely reach the pedals and see over the steering wheel at the same time in my husband's truck. I think I've only driven it once in the like 5 years he's had it. Several years ago I was pregnant and we went somewhere in a truck he had at the time. He brought a folding step stool so I could get in and out. The looks we got in the parking lot of the hardware store. 😂

Great haul. I agree with you about Sam's. So easy to spend more than planned. I go every other month and stock up on everything need/want. I also put aside a little bit of money weekly to go for my sams stock up so it wont be a total budget buster.

My husband is lactose intolerant. I always buy the Lactaid brand milk. My kids drink it too. We don’t have any tummy issues with it and have been drinking it for over 10 years (kids), hubby and I have been drinking it for over 20.
Have you tried making homemade tortillas? It’s not hard once you get the hang of it! Sooo delicious too 😋

I find the texture of zuchinni more palatable if you make them into noodles (zoodles). My kids prefer them that way too.

I love a good haul! I skipped shopping last week except grabbing a couple produce items because I didn’t NEED anything. Well this week I’m having neck/shoulder issues and can’t go shopping until possibly the end of the week(after my chiropractor appointment). Although I’m running low on things, I’m thankful that I definitely have enough on hand that we’ll be fine. Time and time again, I see the benefits of having a stocked pantry and freezer. Oh and a friend said she has eggs for us and is getting them to my husband today at work which was perfect because I was just about out of those!
Oh yay for eggs! But sorry to hear about your pain. Praying for healing! And yes you never really know how beneficial it is until you need it! It was so nice when I was in the hospital and stuff and had canned taco meat and all Gerry had to do was heat things up. He’s an excellent cook and knows how to cook but it’s also hard to cook with all the kids when you’re not used to being the one to do it all by yourself 😆

Fairlife is lactose free too. Is probably more expensive than the great value. It’s the same, so…..might be able to do yogurt with the cheaper stuff. The fresh fruit looks so good!
Yes I was thinking of trying it with GV. I’ve heard the only one that works is the fairlife. I have no evidence, just going off what I’ve heard people say - so I was thinking I could experiment!

Tiffany iam lactose free I was doing almond milk and still having issues so I switched to coconut milk and been doing fine. I also have tried the lactose free milk that you bought in this haul just watch because it constipated me so bad I have no idea why, but Fairlie milk is lactose free as well but more expensive.Juat wanted you to know to watch her with the lactose free milk.great haul.

You may have done a video on this but how did you build your stock up of your pantry and freezer?
I haven’t. I just added things to the grocery orders over time as budget allowed. Buy a few extra things here and there. We started buying meat in bulk years ago and that helps a lot too. Expensive up front but helps in the long run and saves a ton! And now we only buy beef usually, because we are trying to raise all the rest of our meat here. Hopefully one day our own beef too.
Oh editing to add one other thing I did. I have a certain amount of money I transfer to savings each month. One month a few years ago, instead of transferring the money, I used it to buy stock up food. Other than that one time, it’s just buying a little extra each month.

I do go find links to matching recipes on Pinterest so anyone can look up recipes. Sometimes I’ll link a few for the same one. But you can adjust as needed. Half the recipe, double it, etc.

Idk if I commented earlier to say we was home. Anyway we was 2 days into our camping trip and I had a allergy attack and we rushed me to the ER 🙄 a allergy shot and med and I think 5 days or what seemed like forever later I'm better. Hubby even experienced some but he sniffled for a day and seems fine now the lucky ducky! Daughter is having same issue so allergy sufferers beware 😳 it's the worst yr yet.
