This was very pleasant Cory 😊 i really like it that its so quiet and that makes it easy to ride your bike around without having to worry about cars and crowded places, its a great way to leave the house and get some fresh air and also exercise! And i love the sticker on your bike ahaha 🤣 Thanks for filming this for us ❤️🙏
Thank you so much, Laura! The quietness of many areas of Matsudo is why I continue to live here. There are times when the street cats just lay in the road all day long because not a single car drives down them. I enjoy the silence so much. hehehe
Those are the trash bins where people put their bagged trash inside of so cats or crows don't rip open the bags. Thanks for watching and asking your question!
hehehe Actually, it never came, unfortunately. I always look forward to rain during August because it cools the temperature down so much! Thank you for watching and keep it moist!
hehehehe All my life, I thought Kumon was only in Japan because I saw it a lot in many places. I just did a Google search and it's a Japanese company formed in Osaka in 1958. They went global and are still really popular all over!
Thanks for this ride, Cory! Since I don't go anywhere either (besides work) it was a pleasure to have the feeling like I was cycling with you. 😊💖 ( Those cicadas would drive me up the wall 😂)
Glad you could experience the bike ride with me! And yeah, the cicadas... well... you get used to them. But they are definitely deafening, literally. There are have been decibal level tests that prove they are louder than jet airplanes and can cause hearing loss. LOL It's a good thing they only stick around for about 5 or 6 weeks and die off until next year.
I really enjoyed this bike ride! Hopefully there's more to come. And one more thing: I don't think I saw a single pot hole during your ride! In NOLA, pot holes starts at our front door.
Thanks! I mean, maybe that might work, but it also seems click-baity to do so. I still have a lot to do to even make it presentable. I live minimally, to a certain extent, so I have like no furniture or appliances. But slowly I'm starting to make the place my own, so I think right now is not a good time to make a tour video. I'll just have to do it the old-fashioned way and earn my subs to 100k. hehehe Thanks for watching!
pretty cool neighboorhood Cory looks peaceful and quite i bet your legs must be hurting after being on your bike for so long lol but at least you got some good exercise it's all good Cory we understand the lack of content better to be safe than sorry
Yeah, it's definitely a chill area of Japan to live in. Quiet, but has some of the things you need, plus easy access to Tokyo. Actually, my legs don't hurt so much. I walk a LOT each week, so this short bike ride was very chill. hehehe Thanks for watching!!
In the summer heat, I try to get out early to do stuff, or in the evening after it cools down. It was cooler here in SoCal this week (80s instead of 100° F,) but next week it'll be up to the same old heat...
Wow, in the 80s sounds nice and comfy. Stay cool and hydrated over there!!! I try to do stuff in the evenings as well, but I usually teach lessons in the evening, so it makes it difficult. Thanks for watching!!!
Great video!! The sound of the Cicadas is so familiar to me I grew up in Florida and it was the same sound all summer! Stay safe from covid and I hope you can get your shot soon.😍😎🐝🐝🍜🗻🗾🚲🎌🚴🗿🛄💯🇯🇵🇺🇸🌧🌊
It's nice to know where in the world people hear cicadas. Thanks for sharing that. Ah, I forgot to even talk about my jab. I got my 1st jab on 8/8, and will get the 2nd jab on 9/1. Staying safe here. You do the same over there!
During the pandemic, I live in an area similar to yours there in Matsudo, not big city like Tokyo. Dallas & Fort Worth, which is about 45 miles roughly from my location. Cut my lawn today on my John Deere riding lawn mower, my neighbors were out cutting their lawns as well. We typically don't wear a mask when doing yard work, but do stay about 6 + feet away from each other. Still enjoying the video and having some snacks and a drink!
Hi Cory! Thanks for the video! Would you have the link to this bike or maybe you can retrieve the make/model name from the email you received when you ordered it? Thanks! :)
I checked the email and the link for it on Rakuten doesn't exist anymore. It was from 5/2019, so it was a while ago. The shop name is FSおもちゃ館, but I couldn't find the bike anymore for $100. I found some that were similar, but the price was 2x to 4x higher. Sorrryyyyy
'appreciate the video Cory san, these days can be brutal with the heat and real feels! Be safe, keep out of the heat as best as possible! Got my drink and snacks as we are on this bike and talk!!

Thanks for sharing your vlog, Cory! Keeps me entertained during work, and I feel like I am part of the ride! Cool bike, what’s the make/model?

@@CoryMay81 I can imagine that. But most people who don't get your training might be better off with an electric bike in the hilly areas of Japan.
