They admit collateral damage and apologize for it. They saved Sinwar’s life giving him a lethal brain surgery. They treated the daughter of Haniyyas daughter for her complex disease in Israel. But Palestine divided into two parts as a disconnected society in limbo.

Secondly, and most importantly nations are not proposing that Palestine be given statehood because of a terrorist attack that terrorists committed, it’s because Israel killed over 35000 people mostly woman and children and not enemy combatants.
Thirdly, and maybe more important than point 2, if Israel wanted peace why not give them a state (why is this not okay, why do they every year steal more and more land and kill more and more innocent people).

I’m so disappointed in Ireland.
For context, Ireland was an occupied territory and some of it still is. Irish independence came about by what the British would have called terrorism at the time. In the Good Friday Agreement, Ireland gave up it's constitutional claim to the North on the basis that the people living there would be able to decide their own fate through the democratic process.
Ireland knows what it's like to be occupied by a more powerful, often brutal regime and has history of fighting against such regimes. This is why there's a natural affinity in Ireland for the Palestinians. It should also be made clear that Ireland doesn't support Hamas, does support Israel's right to exist and wants a negotiated settlement that leads to a two state solution, which in principle is the same as the US's position. The only difference is that there's a view that you can't have a two state solution if you don't acknowledge the existence of two states and this fundamentally is why Ireland is recognising the state of Palestine.
Our memory may fade away with the passage of time. But Norway along the UN are the architect of two-state solution back to 1994. Since then, the Palestine’s flag has raised everywhere. The State of Palestine has been recognized by 139 member states at the United Nations. Embassies were opened, currency was established, new head os state was elected in Palestine and foreign aid and donation were flown. UN agencies under Scandinavian supervision spent nearly $6 billion in Gaza and tens of billions in West Bank in their useless projects. But Palestine divided into two parts as a disconnected society in limbo. Palestinians are generally radicalized and brainwashed by Hamas, Islamic Jihadists, UN agencies and the Iranian mullahs. For Norway, it is easier to re-recognize a Palestine state than to criticize its useless plans and policies in the past.
