So far, the strongest witness for terminating the mother's parental rights has been the mother herself.
Way to go, Marissa!!!
Agree 💯.
It would be funny if it wasn’t so terribly serious and so so sad 😢.
Right? In fact I think her lawyer questioning her was the most damaging .
@@MacramedMama I agree with you that her lawyer should have not put her on the stand.
She destroyed her credibility.
What really was bothersome was the fact that she gave CPS an expired prescription!
If the child had the flu I am pretty sure that the doctor would have given another prescription that would not complicate the other prescription.
It’s like levothroxine can’t be taken with milk or iron.
So I have to question my pharmacist about everything prescription to make sure that it doesn’t cause any problems with levothroxine.
Common sense.
Which part of her testimony do you think really put some nails in the coffin?
Right now, I think it's her reasoning why she wouldn't communicate with CPS. "Because they won't communicate with me."
It's amazing how people hang themselves she is her worst enemy
Thank GOD this ended the way it did!! I am speaking as someone who was also involved with CPS. I have Multiple Sclerosis and other chronic illnesses that spun me into a DEEP depression and I wasn't doing what I needed to do for my daughter. My home was a wreck because I can barely walk or stand for more than 5 minutes and I am a single mom with NO support whatsoever. My daughter is my life, but the depression just overtook me fast and furiously. CPS became involved because my daughter made a comment at school, and you know what? I am SO SO glad it happened! When CPS showed up at my door and I had to let them in the house and let them see the state it was in, and frankly, the state I was in, it was a wake up call. The CPS workers were AMAZING. They didn't judge me. They didn't shame me. They were honest with me and gave me SO MANY resources to help me. And I worked my ass off- actually landing myself in the hospital due to extreme exhaustion, pain, and dehydration, to get my home in order. When CPS came back to check on the house, they said they had NEVER see anyone work so hard to make things right, and that it was clear that the love I had for my daughter outweighed even my own health. They closed the case while still offering me services to help me with cleaing so my home would never get like that again, and everything has been fine ever since.
My point is- There is NOTHING I wouldn't do for my daughter if I were at risk of losing her. NOTHING. And ANY parent should feel that way.
I've been living with MS for 25 years now, so I know exactly what you mean!! Luckily, my now-28 y/o child had an amazing father & grandparents. I am literally on my side on the sofa trying to type on laptop right now, with a shamefully dirty house, both thanks to the freakin' MonSter. My animals are well cared for & they like rolling in dirt so they're not bothered by the dirty dishes & dirty floors - as long as their water is fresh & food bowls are full. lol I'm so glad that CPS was able to help you, and that you've shared a story about some of the great things CPS does. Too often we only hear the horror stories. You take care of yourself!
@@PrissyTxTomboy I am so sorry you also deal with MS :( it really is just one of those things that people can never truly understand unless they live with it themselves. Between the pain, the balance issues, the memory loss, and the sheer exhaustion that comes with it, cleaning your home just doesn’t seem all that important. I am so glad you have a good support system with your husband and the grandparents! It really makes all the difference! I wish you nothing but the best and am sending gentle hugs your way! :)
@@ashleydixon6122 LOL I don't have a husband anymore,& my adult child lives in NY now (I'm in TC)& only 1 of the grandparents is still living . I have a caring boyfriend who lives only 20 minutes away & he's great about helping me, but not with cleaning or laundry. HaHa. I'm so glad your daughter has a caring and wise mama! Gentle hugs to ya (as I get up for some more Baclofen & Neurontin haha(
Can I just say YOU ROCK!!! Everyone blames cps for everything. I am so glad you got much needed help; too. Hey, you knew you might lose your child so did you sit around all day? No! You did something about it! This mother could learn a thing or two from you!
@@PrissyTxTomboy I understand. I was diagnosed with a rare form of adult onset MD, and everyone automatically assumes I said MS. Drives me crazy. This basically robs you of your muscle mass. I was diagnosed about 7 years ago and was put in a wheelchair 2 years ago. I am only 51. My husband and I did not plan this for our life so its been hard. I also have a chronic bad back so yeah. I know the struggle no matter how major or minor is all consuming and can really mess with you. So I try to live day to day.
As a former addict I can say this woman reeks of someone who’s in active addiction.
Absolutely! she is unfortunately for her in the worst place addiction brings us and that’s in the delusion that we aren’t doing anything but hurting ourselves or that we aren’t doing anything wrong. The fact is she is using and she may get a script that she sells or abuses but the labs do not lie and she exposed those children to life destroying drugs. I am somewhat shocked though at the dishonestly at this stage of the game. I mean the writing has been on the wall. She’s been found out and didn’t own up to the mistakes. That’s what someone who loves does they realize they are causing pain and suffering and they stop and do something different. She didn’t, She wreaped what she has sown, simple as that. It’s now time for those children to be cared for and mothered and sadly she isnt going to be the mother she shouldve been and they deserved any time soon. Very sad for Marrissa, meth was more important that those babies.
Unfortunately i agree w u!
Well & truly said.
It doesn't take being an addiction counselor to see that she's obviously a meth head.
For sure. Hope she gets the help she needs.🙏
The moment when your own attorney realizes he’s an idiot for allowing you to testify in court.
She was so high, I'd have tested positive after watching this video.
Haha, great comment
🤣
😂😂😂😂😂
Came here to say this 🤪
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Best comment while in a "non-contact high!"
The CPS lady annihilated her at the end!! Dayyyum!
This mother is higher than a kite. And trust me, any person who is addicted to meth would certainly notice if their boyfriend was smoking that shit in the house just from the smell alone.
What got me too is when she claimed early on she gave her meth addict friend a ride for $50...addicts spend all the money they have on their addiction not rides #Fact.
She was smoking it with him that's why.
Yes, it has a special disgusting smell. I always wondered what it was when I was a child and went out to my parents garage.
She woulda smelled it on his person before being in the same house. Maybe that’s what turned her on about him
@@kajunprincess7291 trash gave her $50 worth of Meth
It’s amazing how she can get around to help someone go on a meth run, but when it’s time to deal with her kids she can’t get to the follicle tests or any meetings. If she really wanted to see those kids she would reply to all correspondence with the social workers. She goes dark and expects those workers to chase her around. And when they don’t she wants to cry like she is the one being disenfranchised.
So true. Watching the earlier testimony of the primary case worker (who came across as condescending and self-satisfied), you could see where it would be difficult to work with someone who holds you in such disdain; however, I would work with the devil himself to get my kids back. You suck it up, kiss butt, do whatever's necessary, because you know they hold all the cards. Everything else is just excuses to cover for her inability or unwillingness to do what was necessary. She didn't want her children badly enough to _really_ fight for them in the way she _knew_ she had to.
Exactly. Even simple things...if she really wants her kids she would be taking this serious and listen to the questions and answer appropriately. it is a total shit show. Also having a guy around your kids smoking meth? Maybe she should look at that decision she made.
I’ve met people like her, it’s truly warped the way the portray things. Guy I know lost his daughter when she was born, baby came out with drugs in its system. He had this whole crazy narrative about what was going on, then I saw the stack of paperwork on his table one day, detailing all the madness, failed drug tests, missed drug tests, complete lack of cooperation, communication..
Lock up the mom
The mother is so incoherent and incompetent to care for her children . She seems so out of it , you can certainly tell she’s still in active addiction
Her poor body was ravished by the drugs. Stick thin, sunken cheeks, etc.
I agree. How could she not know that the man she was working with was on meth? She is on it now. How does not know her child had 6 cavities?
This lady is lucky her kids are with family and not with strangers. Those kids are so lucky to have family to take them in.
Hopefully they keep the kid’s away from her, and disown her.
I thought the two girls were with someone not known to the family
@@RyleeRRSRthe lawyer for Knox said they're with the grandmother in his closing argument. I was confused until his closing.
@@RyleeRRSRthere are 4 not just 2! 2 of them are with grandma and 2 are with fosters. I figured it out with the guardian ad lidem. They were concentrating on the younger 2 here.
How could this mom say she did not know that it was her obligation to be in contact with her CPS CW on a monthly basis? This is her 4th CPS case, monthly contact is always in court order. Ridiculous
How could you even call her a "mom" she hasn't earned that title .
@@tommyg1179she’s a breeder
Tweakers lie, she knew but meth is more important to her then her kids. She is pure garbage!
Oh she knew of course. 🙄
BUT that Leslie fro. CPS she speakers of is NASTY!Condescending, rude, overbearing, unhelpful. No way she should have the job she does.
She is a horrible mother, all four kid’s tested positive. Lock her up and throw away the key, omg the hell those poor children went through is disgusting. No excuse for these parent’s that torture their own children.
This was heartbreaking. The mother sang happy birthday to a man that she claims exposed her children to drugs...and yet didn't speak to her little girls on their birthdays. I don't have words...
She shaved her head to avoid a drug test?!? Missed their birthday but sang to a methhead in jail!?! Her kids tested positive for Meth?!? Open alcohol driving with no license?!? Wow... What a "mother"! 🤬😡😫🤮
Sometimes I think courts should be able to order that the mom get her tubes tied
Seriously? She shaved her head to avoid a drug test? WHAT???????
I think she shaved it so she would have new growth. She only shaved the sides. New growth wouldn’t have drugs if she were clean.
This is actually very sad no one wakes up and wants to be an addict and I’m sure she didn’t want to be a garbage mom either BUT this should’ve been a wake up call how does ur kid test positive that’s crazy
@@conniedeshazo3031I've been saying this for years
I’ve been in many termination hearings and I’ve had Judge’s say the parent is a liar, but never heard a Judge say that I can tell by looking at how you’ve aged that you are a chronic meth user. It took 3 videos, but this was an excellent trial from the judge down to the attorneys and the social workers. I’m subscribed!
Exactly
The judge didn't say that the case worker did
All addicts age from using especially meth heads. I don't know how many hearings you claim to have been in. Don't be offended by UA-camrs like fakebooker come on claiming to be experts tho they are not . So commenting on addicts appearance happens all the time. You can see in appearance improvement when they stop using . ..
@@ruthsturgeon4979 well, IDK how many hearings I’ve been since I’ve been doing termination hearings for 22 years. Your guess is a good as mine. I didn’t say meth addicts don’t age, I said I e never heard a judge say that to a parent as a indicator of their chronic addiction.
@@ruthsturgeon4979 the judge said it!
When my daughter ran away from her father's house to stay in a homeless shelter I walked to the shelter. I called them and explained I'm walking it's an hour away. They called the police to pick up me up and took me there. I signed her into the shelter. Met with CPS. She wasn't biologically mine so, I wasn't able to get custody. She was 17. Turning 18 in two months. But I walked to her court hearing to give her support. The CPS worker asked why? I said as far as I'm concerned she's my little girl and I'd walk to Canada if I had to.
Aww. That’s a true parent. Was she able to come live with you once she turned 18?
@@annagitana1 yes she was. She is set to graduate from college in 2024 and is getting married after she graduates.
You are an awesome mother. She is so fortunate that you and she have each other.❤
Good job!! Your support helped mold this teenager into a responsible adult!! She is lucky to have you. ❤
What a awesome Mother!!! Bowing down queen.
I love how the judge sat through all this, then came out with a "Is it my turn? Great, mom, you're full of it." Lol The girls ended up with a fantastic foster mom. So glad they're safe. I also love your input, it was always spot on and I look forward to hearing dad's case. Subscribed! 😊
to bad they wont be adopted and will go foster to foster home and could be sexually abused. Happened to my sister at 6
Mom is obviously tweaking right this minute. In the immortal words of Nancy Spungen, "Never trust a junkie."
When they mentioned her daughter crying from the tooth pain she barely batted an eye, it’s only when they said her kids don’t talk about her that she began to cry
Yes, addiction makes one self centered and makes the already self centered even more so.
Narcissists
A broken tooth is extremely painful. I had one a few months back. If I talked ot hurt, if I ate it hurt. That poor child had to be in agony & her "mother" couldn't tale that child to the dentist. I'm sure she had state medical & they offer medical transportation so there was no reason to let that child sit in agony. She had 3 CPS cases prior to this & w this one she lost all her kids. She needs a tubal ligation because she's no mother, she's a breeder.
As a recovering addict of 4 years as of January the 27 ❤️ This mom is high on this zoom meeting!!! It's a shame it really is however she may not care right now but she will when and if she gets sober on down the road. So much guilt and shame. She will have. Prayers to her 🙏💓💜
Not and addict and I can tell she is high. Don’t make your addiction a special skill.
My ex partner was a meth user and this is exactly what he was like when he was using - couldn’t agree more. He thought I couldn’t tell but it became very obvious.
@@beer1403 🤡
Congrats on your sobriety ❤️ that takes a lot of guts.
The Mom is tweaking during this call. That's why she can't just answer a simple question
So hard to follow but it always seems like a convoluted story from addicts.
No question. She's on some upper of some kind.
Her lawyer is a hell of a lawyer especially given the dumpster fire he had to manage
I have an issue with attorneys who fight to put children with people who they KNOW will not keep them safe and healthy.
I agree though, if you have to have a shyster lawyer, he’s a good one.
I know her lawyer was annoying, but I think he did a great job on behalf of his client.
Definitely. She certainly can't appeal on grounds for inefficient counsel
If an attorney is not advocating hard for you then you need another attorney
He could have done it without the snark...I think it worked against them.
@@Crazycraw202 Actually it didn't. He was allowed to carry on with more questions when objected to than the lawyer for CASA/DHS/CPS.
@@Crazycraw202 Never met a soft lawyer
As an alcoholic who did EVERYTHING she was supposed to do before CPS got involved in the first place -- you absolutely choose what you love more: the addiction, or the children.
I just love my kid more than I love alcohol. Sober now for ALMOST 6 years - it will be 6 in May. :)
I got my stuff together, went to therapy, submitted to tests, and started new medication just like I was asked to.
It's not that hard to love your kids more than you love your drug of choice. When I get the cravings to drink, I just think of my daughter and it goes right away. She's worth more than anything - especially alcohol.
This mom DESERVED to lose her rights. I'm glad those kids will have a fighting chance at life now. My mother was also addicted to meth and it ruined my life when I did nothing wrong other than be born. My past is dark and terrible, and I wish CPS had rescued me.
That woman was so right - she doesn't deserve to be a parent - it's a gift; not a right.
So happy for you! Wish every parent had such clarity and insight. You and your kids deserve a wonderful life!
God love you ! So sorry you had to endure everything you did. Congratulations on your sobriety! And you are correct you did absolutely nothing wrong. Broke my heart when I read this and saw "except be born," that wasn't wrong either. God gifted you this life knowing you would do something amazing in this mean old world, and raising your daughter and loving her with all of your being is so amazing. Best of luck in all you do and God bless you and your family.
Congrats and amen!
@@Crazycraw202 I wish my egg doner cared more about us kids than the bag of wine. We kids ended up doing ok despite her.

The mother has set herself up to always be a victim. Ridiculous.
As a mother I would climb the highest mountain, swim the widest ocean to get my children. She blames everyone for her failure
Thank you CPS for always keeping the children's needs ahead of all others.
Cps is a nightmare. They absolutely need an overhaul.
...who's gonna tell her? 😂
Except for the multiple cases, like Gabriel Fernandez, where CPS doesn't do their job and leave children in homes where they're clearly being abused.
Cps absolutely does not care at all about the needs of kids
She doesn't have a driver's license but she drives to work and 3 meetings a week which she runs.....not a very bright thing to say in court. Also, if I were in court concerning the fate of my children I would know every date.
But she said she would drive really fast so the trips would be quick. I guess this is druggie rationale for less risk bc the trip is literally fast !?!?!?
Mom didn’t think a cracked tooth “was that bad” hmmmmm a cracked tooth always needs dental attention.
I hate when addicts say "My children are my whole life" 🤮
And I will do anything and everything (except get clean and complete my treatment plan)!
Do you know what the definition of addiction is?
@@mmegan85 yes, and I know that if parents don't battle the addiction, they leave it as a legacy to their children and the wreckage continues generation to generation. Do you know the definition of recovery? Of responsible parenting? Maybe she needs this time to focus only on herself and her recovery. She shouldn't make the kids pay the price of her addiction.
I think she meant ‘my children are my whole child support check’.
They may feel like that, but there's not enough space for children and drugs.
Its really sad. My step-kids' mom has addiction issues. She swears up and down how much she loves them and will do anything for them...but we're coming up on 2 years of no visits, no child support, not even a birthday card. It's nice sentiment, and she may really feel that way, but she's not actually capable of it while she's on drugs.
So glad to see CASA called this Mom out for lack of accountability …. She is totally unfit to care for these children
Her lawyer tries to shut her up because she's talking entirely too much about how messed up she is. Her blaming everybody else is a clear indicator that she is not improving at all.
I've suffered from Crohn's disease since I was about 5 and I'm 51 now so hearing the horror this poor little girl went through makes me cry. So so painful, poor baby. This "mother' should be kept far away from those children.
Girl same. I've been hospitalised so many times and have now had my entire large bowel and some of my small bowel removed and I was, frankly, just getting pissed that these parents esp., mom, did not give the older child the meds she needed to not be in pain and have better quality of life, instead letting her suffer in silence, soil herself regularly, and live in pull-ups because they couldn't be bothered. Not to mention the pain caused by her extensive dental issues which is also something that's tied to bowel condition and nutrient absorption (something she even admitted in this call!!).These poor kids are far better off now where they can get the medical treatment, love, and care they need.
@@286seo I'm a guy lol but your comment is so perfect. Very few understand the searing, crippling pain that Crohn's causes. They think, oh your stomach hurts? Yeah. My stomach doesn't hurt but my large intestine is literally crumbling inside my body, which is not as fun as it sounds.
I'm so sorry you've gone through all this. I totally get it and I'm gonna pray for your health, my friend. Be well!!
@@famouslastwords0791HR oh no - how did I not see your icon picture?! Welp, sorry about that but we're totally on the same page. @@286seo Oh my God that's so true!!! I've heard it all!!
-Well if you don't eat dairy/Red meat/sugar or anything else they can think of they really believe they've cured me lol!!
I had a gf/friend/gf (you know how that goes) who was a NURSE and before i was diagnosed she actually mocked me saying I just couldn't handle pain. After about 10 years i finally was so sick I'd dropped to 82 pounds and just couldn't move at all let alone eat. My brother took me to an EXCELLENT hospital that was an hour away and i barely made it through the ride. But they told me within 30 minutes in the ER that i either had Crohn's or colon cancer and my intestine was literally dissolving in the surgeon's hands when they got me in the OR. They said i didn't have the greatest survival rate for being this sick and having them remove parts of my colon and I'd most likely need a colostomy to live. I was fine with that, i just asked them to make the pain stop. I was 31 years old and was told after the surgery by the doctor that had i not gotten there my intestine would have burst and killed me within 48 hours. They were honest and VERY good doctors and they pulled me through. I do have the colostomy and sometimes it's a pain but I'm alive because of it. Too long story, i know. But it sticks with you.
@@286seo My understanding of the mom's testimony is that the bottle she provided CPS was an old bottle that had expired because the daughter couldn't take it because of a medication conflict. She didn't come out and say that she had filled subsequent scripts and used those up. I don't know if that's correct but the medication confusion is the Mom's attorney's fault for not clearing it up. In my opinion.
I hope she gets the help she needs. She was also a child once and probably had a childhood from hell and has never had the help she needs. I pray she can get off drugs, get healthy, find some stability and happiness.
Finally a Judge that is clearly looking out for the kids!
This is the third time she’s had her kids taken away from her…..there should have never been a second chance for her to lose her kids again….. it’s not fair to these kids to put their lives on hold while their so called “Parents” get their 💩 together!

This mom cannot just answer questions without rambling everywhere….her words run all over each other at about 175 mph
Higher than a kite.
Maybe but she also could and likely is very anxious being in front of all these people who are judging her and trying to take her children from her... Some people ramble when anxious and nervous and these hearings are traumatizing...
@@mmegan85 True, but...how many times has she been through this? This is not her first time at the rodeo.
If she's anxious, her being under the influence of methh is just making it worse.
This is incredibly sad for those 4 children and will forever alter their lives. They are statistically more likely to be substance abusers, have mental health issues, live in poverty and even more likely to harm themselves. The shame is this mom likley could have gone to rehab for FREE, when there are people who need and want rehab but cannot get it for various reasons. Those precious kids, my heart aches for them, and my heart even breaks for the mom. She forfeited the most valuable gifts a human can be blessed with in this life. 💜
Your point about availability of services is very well taken. People vilify CPS, but I've seen so many cases that show that their involvement is the catalyst that forces neglectful or abusive parents to get free drug addiction and mental health services they would never otherwise seek themselves or be able to afford. Many parents, those who really want to change, actually benefit from these services, if they can put aside their embarrassment and resentment and focus on their children.
I speak from experience help is available if it’s wanted. She wants to keep her kids and continue to use. Extremely sad situation but unfortunately not uncommon.
This is incredibly sad for the children and the mom. She doesn't she that she is her worst enemy. I have worked with substance abusers and also in foster care and some of these cases are heart wrenching. I once had a client addicted to heroin at a substance abuse center. She was a mother whose child was in the system. This woman had went through horrific abuse and was actually introduced to drugs by her own parents. When she was pregnant, she stopped using but resumed right after. I provided counseling, encouraged her to go into treatment and every program I could think of and she would not cooperate. Yes she had a bad hand dealt to her when younger but she continued making herself the victim. When CPS had enough and filed to terminate her rights, she woke up and started trying but it was too late. It was one of the saddest cases I had ever dealt with. This reminded me of that case.
I wish we had the same type of free rehab here in the UK. We have a great NHS service, but unfortunately, free in-patient rehab, specifically for substance addiction is almost non-existent. In my area (a large Northern city), the mental health ward doubles up as a place for addiction treatment, which (for me, at least) just does not work.
@@MSmith-tk8ff so sad
Her lawyer tried to argue that she had good excuses for missing her visits with the kids, but there is no good excuse. She made those children WAIT, thinking she would be there, and her sorry ass never showed up. It’s hard to imagine anything sadder than that.
Great comment even though it’s the saddest one yet. As a gammie of 8 little ones, your comment just broke my heart. It sums up the entire situation. Those babies health, safety and emotional well being are all that matters. ☮️❤️
Her lawyer is so obnoxious. Asking the department if they reminded her of this and that, if they spoke to her about their requirements again and again. She works at IHOP and has no children in her home. What could be so much more important than doing the very simple things listed in her family plan? This went on for 23 months where she wasn’t willing to commit a few hours per week to attending her classes & therapy.
She’s shown zero incentive or initiative.
Her daughter’s bowel problems are just so tragic my heart aches for that little one. She deserves better than a mother who ignores her cries of pain and keeps her in pull ups, defecating all over herself. All 4 of the children deserve better than this.
All I heard out of the mother is that everything is everyone else’s fault but hers and she is a victim. It’s exactly how you know she is still actively in addiction. Avoiding accountability seems to be a common theme amongst addicts.
Being a victim is common to addict lifestyle as well.
She is not only lying through her method out rotten teeth, she’s tweaking out bad!

Drug addiction isn't the only reason people lose their teeth. My Mother lost hers at 26 years of she and she never smoked, drank, or touched any sort of drug her entire life.
I'm not a doctor but I kinda think all those digestive issues the baby girl has is just from sheer stress and being born addicted
Megacolon has lots of causes but a big problem that can lead to it is untreated chronic constipation which this poor baby has. Omg it breaks my heart that she’s been on so much pain
I’d be curious to what the child has. I couldn’t understand what they said her disease was.
It's from chronic constipation, either the child is holding it in.. or parents weren't making sure she was having bowel movements regularly and not seeking treatment for it..
I've dealt with this, I'm not sure the exact reason for the constipation in this girls case.. just judging by the testimony here..likely from poor diet, dehydration and definitely pure stress etc...but after a while because of chronic constipation, the bowels are weakened.so the muscles cant hold it in anymore, causing watery stools..
My daughters pediatrician told me this happens often with children who were potty trained a bit late sometimes..(in my case, DV issue in the home so there were big changes, moving out etc. mid potty training here) my daughter would hold hers in. (Also caused by stress, ugh) Causing leakage. I know maybe a bit tmi...but the treatment was to prescribe a laxative to basically "reset" the system. It took an entire weekend of staying close to a toilet..but with the right care, it can help! And seeing the foster mother taking care of these children, it seems like it has helped the little girl.
@@lisajeter9511 it’s called Encopresis, from what my sons specialist said it’s also pretty common for individuals who have ASD or adhd or are under great amounts of stress to be diagnosed with encopresis.
This has been compelling. I listened to all of it. I have grudging respect for her lawyer. He really put the work in.
She is clearly still in active addiction! After watching the 1st 2 parts, I thought she was a bad parent, but watching this one, she is high as a kite! I normally support services to help keep a family together, but not in this case! Sever her rights and give these kids a chance at life!

The mother was tweaking during the trial. I guarantee every time she went off camera, she was hitting that pipe.
@Jamea Rogers, I was thinking the same thing. SMH!

@@helenjackson8413 me too!
She didn't love those kids, she loved the child support she was to receive from them. And she basically admitted it when she said if she got her kids back she could afford her fine home thanks to the dad's child support payments.
She make’s me sick to my stomach, why on earth would she get 3 chance’s to destroy her poor innocent children. 1 time should be enough.
She runs an addiction recovery meeting? That’s methed up.
It would explain the relapse rate 😂

She is HIGH right now…..PERIOD. She doesn’t deserve her kids now or ever🙄🙄🙄
I only watched 18 minutes so far. My heart breaks for everyone involved. I know a lot of ppl aren't giving the mom a lot of sympathy. Understandable... but as recovering addict of over half my life I pray for her too. Drugs are evil, and make good people do what they never thought they were capable of. 💔
Unfortunately, drugs can't make people do anything unless ingested/consumed. It's hard to feel sorry when children are involved
I know someone who intentionally did NOT have children because they were an addict. The only sympathy I have is for the children.
She's so deep in her addiction and doesn't intend on getting better. If she did, she would be truthful in her answers, but she perjured herself from the start of her testimony.
Amen to this. I agree
When your custody zoom looks like Hollywood Squares you should read the room and know you are actually at the end of the line. No more chances. And it’s very very obvious why.
thank God, there are people out there that actually care about kids and are trying to protect them from their parents who don’t care about them
I can’t imagine any of these workers enjoy this. This must be so difficult for all of them.
Very Sad. As a Recovering Addict I understand this situation. Mom is DEFINITELY in active addiction and UNFORTUNATELY until SHE IS TIRED OF BEING SICK & TIRED OF LOSING EVERYONE & EVERYTHING in her life she’s going to continue to suffer. No one or NOTHING is going to stop her. SHE HAS TO WANT IT. I Sincerely HOPE she gets the help she needs & finds sobriety! It’s DEFINITELY POSSIBLE. She needs deep in house therapy & after out patient & everything else pertaining to her particular situation. Sadly the children have to suffer losing their mom and going through God knows what I’m Foster Care. It’s SAD & HEART BREAKING ALL AROUND ♥️🙏♥️🙏♥️🙏♥️
As a recovering addict as well, this comment is tone deaf. Addictions cans stem from all kinds of emotional and neurological issues. You don’t know she’s actively using any more than others know if you are. Sometimes post-meth psychosis as well as mental or neurological issues. can cause this type of behavior. The law should NOT be allowed to terminate parental rights without exhausting every avenue. Especially with addicts and psychological issues.
Not an addict and I can tell this. Your status as an addict dies not give you special skills.
If losing her kids isn't enough to get clean, I don't think the odds are in her favor of getting clean.
We all have choices to make, and while addiction is a health issue, the choice to not do the hard work to get clean is just that - a choice.
She chose meth over her kids, and my heart breaks for those kids. I hope they can find happiness in their lives after this tragedy.
“I’ll do anything for my children!”
Proceeds to do absolutely nothing to fix this.
Parents like these don’t love their children, they love the income they generate from the Government.
Also Money from the Dad/Daddy's!
Well said!
YES!!! Babies for benefits!.............I'm glad her rights were terminated.
Addicts are selfish, they only want their own well-being.
Exactly!!
As a mom, if my kids were in custody, I would be calling and checking on my kids so often that they would want to give them back just to get rid of me.
Thank you for the follow up. This is a very sad story as far as the children go. The outcome was as it should have been.
Thank you for bringing this to us! I hope you can record the father's hearings that is coming up! I am a new subscriber and love your content!

I SO WISH someone could say to moms attorney “Sir, would you leave your grandkids with her for even 5 hours???” his answer would be NOPE!!!! I wouldn’t leave a freakin cat with her. Jesus. I couldn’t be a defense attorney. NOT EVER.
I have a friend that is a Public Defender (Criminal), and I asked her how she resolves herself when she gets a child molester or rapist off on a technicality, and she told me, "They ALWAYS recommit. So I get them out of the charges that time but they won't be so lucky the next."
She said the breath of a meth head is the most disgusting thing anyone could ever smell. She said they smell like meth (which I have no idea what it smells like) and a rotting dead body bc the drugs are killing them from the inside out. The teeth are apparently bad from malnutrition and ingesting chemicals.
BTW she works in Brooklyn and between 2019 and now, she has gone from rep-ing both misdemeanors and felonies to only Felony cases of murder or serious body harm she told me she oversees over 300 cases. She is a bit of a "bleeding heart" and said "There is an epidemic problem of young men killing other young men in NYC"
I'm currently in law school, and this is my opinion:
Everyone has a right to zealous defense. If the state is going to strip someone of their property, liberty, or life they had damn well prove their case.
And when someone is found guilty, it sticks because they had effective counsel. Good defense attorneys truly keep the worst of the worst away from their communities.
I am a criminal defense attorney. Everybody is one bad decision away from committing a felony and seeing their life fall apart. You will frigging love me then.
Gratitude for these 3 updates OnTropolis. Bittersweet as they are the outcome guarantees a better future for these children. I am shocked it took this long for her parental rights to be terminated however grateful it finally occurred. Honour, respect & gratitude to this Judge and all those involved in protecting these children.
🙏💙💙💙 OnTropolis…….
THANK YOU, JUDGE. GOD BLESS YOU.
I’m incensed at those folks promoting the parents being allowed to continue the abuse of their children. I’m an adopted parent and was tasked with trying to fix the unfixable because of people like YOU. May the judgments of God never leave you, your family, and your children’s children.
The “mother’s” ego and attitude were her own worst enemy!
That's the methh talking
When the lady in the upper third box starts testifying, I wanted to rip my hair out. Her voice, and the way she constructs sentences was absolutely maddening.
Her lawyer really tried, my god. He’s exhausting but he was certainly doing his job, I don’t think I could sleep at night after putting up such a defense for such a horrible mother.
OnTropolis, as always, your comments are life! Genuine life! You’re always on point and TO the point. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us as well.
I feel like a bad mom for letting my son skip a nap. This really helped me get it in perspective.
Same, I felt so bad cuz it's raining and my twins are watching tv and are on their tablets all day. 😅
Omg same..my 6yr old daughter went to bed without brushing her teeth last night and I felt so bad that I had forgot ..we’re good mums and the smallest things will make us feel bad I can’t even imagine not doing what’s best for my child because she is the most important person in my world
She broke up with her husband and moved the meth-head neighbor into her home. This person should never control over children, her ability to make sound decisions is non-existent.
3 times your children are taken by CPS than you should lose custody! The children’s lives should be protected from abusive parents.
I am 1 minute in to her testimony & I wager she is high AF
If she weren’t all methed up she’d be able to answer the questions with a simple yes or no
As a parent of a 4 year old and step-parent to a 7 year old, I couldn't imagine living like this woman. I want to beat myself up and feel like the worst person in the world just seeing the kiddos cry over mundane things like not eating candy for dinner or not staying up all night playing games. She is sickening. All four kids are setup for failure now because of this trash. Most saddening is they are old enough to know who their mother is. Hopefully they overcome the statistics and become successful productive citizens.
On behalf of loving mothers everywhere, THANK YOU, for giving these babies their lives back, free of fear and future issues (not that there won’t be work ahead). Everyone can take a sigh of relief for their care givers and health care providers, that there will, hopefully, be no more interruptions in their progress, moving forward…….GOD BLESS THOSE INVOLVED❤️
This is very educational. It teaches us that the court system is NOT like the movies or TV shows that we watch. It moves very slowly. It took them TWO years to get to this point. I hope the girls are better off with the fosters. Subscribed.
I just watched the first 2. Knowing this is her testimony is like me waiting for Amber Heard to testify! 😂
This is just so sad all around and for everybody. Nobody here wants to terminate a parents right but she has given the court no other way around it.
It's sad that she couldn't stay off meth long enough to appear "normal" during a court hearing that decided her parental rights. AFAIK, these decisions are all but irreversible, especially after the children are officially and permanently adopted.
Also, that poor court reporter trying to keep up with her ramblings. 😱
The judge made the absolute correct decision. The most telling thing this worthless mother said was that the “child support” would pay for the home. She’s despicable!
The assumption that everyone is suppose to take her word, call her, excuse her, support her because they are HER kids like she is entitled to them.
I don’t think that’s it, she’s grasping at straws, trying to pull herself together, but obviously doesn’t have support
23:12 : does she like doing this?! No. But she has made it her career to ensure that innocent children are given the fair opportunity to grow and thrive without parents LIKE YOU.
She RUNS meetings?? Dear Lord no wonder the success rate of AA meetings are terrible
Her plan to "afford" the rent on the place she's staying was to have the child support pay it?
Yeah...not a smart move, because if the youngest kids' father is as much of a zip as she is, he very could flake out, leave his job, and then she's up the creek.
Did she shave her head to not have to give a follicle test or lose it some other way?
Probably sold her hair for drugs.
Yes
Mom wanted to be seen as the victim so bad. What pisses me off the most is this was her fourth CPS case.
I looked her up on fb and her children are gorgeous and looked happy in earlier videos and pics. I hope they get their forever home,I wish I could take them all as my body let me down n I couldn't have them, this excuse pops kids out far to frequently. Can't wait for dad's turn..
I was trying to find her also. What’s her fb?
@@vanessamiller9202 it’s Marissa echarte, she’s posing as a blonde with ll 4 kids, there’s vids of all the kids. She used to look quite nice. Lol

@@1corrsfan drugs mess you up, I’m glad you never had this issue with family members. All I see is someone on drugs that believes she’s shut out and she just wants to be loved. It’s not about her being evil, it’s about her not being loved.
Take her kids, but in the end, this is
a wounded soul that is consumed by a drug addiction, not saying she should have her kids. Just saying there should be some compassion. Even if it’s potential visits in the future.
@@wendyhandsaker9865 I have sympathy for her. I have opioid addicts in my family and not being all dramatic but I don’t feel loved, do I neglect my pets or my nephews- no. Coz they and her kids deserve better, stability, consistency and unselfish love. I think she should have access to the kids but they also need support before they end up in the same vicious cycle as their mom and we don’t end up watching her kids make the same mistakes in the future.
As a former foster parent for children with medical issues I dealt with specialists for every child we ever had. Now yes, you are always given a next appt which is usually several months from then however, when it comes to a child who is having severe problems they tell you to call if there are any issues and they will get you in. I cannot tell you how many times I took a child into a specialist many more times than originally planned. Things happen for goodness sake.
Now onto mom. Let me tell you when I heard the children have been removed 3 times I wanted to scream. Heres the thing though. Every state seems to think the best thing for the child is to be with their parents. You know what? Most of the time it isn't. If these children are reunified and get taken away again, the oldest is going to have a tough time trusting anyone. Parents always find reasons not to finish their plans. It is always someone elses reason why.
Let me tell you, if the state took my child and I had not heard from the caseworker as this lady said, you better believe I would be up first thing every morning calling everyone I can trying to find out why I cannot talk to or see my kids. This woman does not care about those kids. I fear she likes having little helpers around the house. The dentist told her the child had a cracked tooth and she didn't get it fixed! Can I please crack her tooth and make her run around with it for months on end and see how she feels?
This Judge is fair.
Her attorney is annoying. He lets her keep rambling on and rambling on, then the objections come, and only then does he tell her to slow down and just answer the question.
He does this over and over. He never stops her himself!
I disagree. He tried to advise her to answer only the question asked and to recognize how her frantic behavior was coming across.
My son had intolerance and reflux issues as an infant. He saw a pediatric gastroenterologist about once a month until we got him back on track. Then he had checkups every six months up until he was two years old. That's not including his regular checkups at his pediatrician, dental visits, and emergency visits during that time. There definitely should have been more documentation and doctor's visits on her end.
It must be nice to just not have to pay child support because you feel like the person with your kids is "doing fine" without it 🤣
She's a mess and she needs help. It's sad because if she would have stopped using drugs the rest would have fallen into place.
To be fair the colon issue is a bit different but it still doesn't make sense what the mother said. Yes, it takes a long time to get the colon back to functional size. You would give macrogol or something similar to maintain poop consistency, there's not much one can do from the medical side but this is essential! As long as there's progress and a pediatrician on board you wouldn't need a gastroenterologist appointment every month or so. It's much more important to comfort the child and work on their fears which are caused by the pain and lead to further problems.
But!! - If the mother gave the medicine, why was the poor child filled up with poop which caused after her testimony the nutrition/ teeth issue?! And why couldn't she provide a medicine which wasn't way out of date? The child wasn't healed and even then you would need to have some of the medicine to be ready in case the 💩 gets harder or is being withhold for whatever reason to prevent this from happening again.
However personally my biggest issue is the kids drug test anyway and I don't buy the fence story. It would have been interesting to hear an expert witness to what kind of exposure would possibly explain the drug tests results.
Props for Attorney Ann Marie Smith (might be wrong on her last name). We need more people like her defending the defenseless child!
The most chilling statement from the ad litem is the children talked about everyone they want to see but didn't mention mom.
Wish there was an option for the government to sterilize the women who have had issues with drug abuse and CPS in the past, so that they cannot have anymore children and ruin their lives. This women should also be informed that she should not have anymore children in the future.
Her lawyer enables her poor behavior by saying she made "a good faith effort". I call BS
He has to so it didn't get overturned
The fact that she was so tweaked out that her lawyer had to speak to her like a child with slow, short sentences to ensure she could follow along.
When established with a specialist, even through Medicaid, the specialist will see the patient regularly while the problem requires acute treatment.
My youngest daughter was diagnosed with childhood asthma when she was 4 years old. We were on Medicaid. Once her pediatrician sent us to a pulmonologist, she was seen monthly until she outgrew it around 12 years old.
She wants to use new hair growth to hopefully not test positive but she doesn’t realize that it will show up and they can use hair from your arms, legs, and other areas
She says she’s on Vyvanse. My ADHD meds make me focused so I can explain my thoughts with a correct tone. She’s using them to get high and is all over the place.
When the mother doesn't care. But still want control over the kids. I hope those little girls never see her again.
Very well-tried and professional case and I'm glad the judge ruled the way she did. Mom was obviously incompetent but hopefully she can get clean and sober one day. I also hope the kids will thrive in the future and that Ms Heineman will reconsider adopting Memphis and Lennox because she really stepped in when the children needed her.
There's only one reason that a person doesn't go to your urine or hair follicle test
Not necessarily. Look into the Motherisk Scandal outta Toronto. Because of that scandal most lawyers strongly advise against it.
They can't do hair follicle because she shaved her head.
Terminate their rights!!!!! These neglected abused and mistreated children WILL have trauma related issues going forward but they will NOT have MORE abuse & trauma done to them!!! Get help and stop being the victim..is my advice to these parents!!!!!!!
