    I wish Apple would focus on what people actually want in terms of power and connectivity versus gimmicks and shaving off a millimetre. The $4300 MacBook Pro is SO overpriced for what it can actually do.
    I am falling out of love with Apple, and it's so sad... because I don't really want to go back to Windows. 💔💔💔

    get out of my reccommendations.
    EDIT(important, pleas read): I didn't even watch the video. I am not angry at her for any reason.
    I am just pissed at youtubes recommendation strategy. We need more
    possibilities to tell the alogrithm what we want to watch and what we
    don't want to watch. When I see the thumbnails and title of a video I
    decide whether or not I want to watch something. This is a one time
    decision and sadly the only way to flush your recommendations is opening
    the video just to skip it anyway ...

    So surprised to see a lot of macOS users sticking with a corded lifestyle. My entire MBP workstation setup has been cordless since 2011. I even have my old external USB HDD plugged directly into my Asus RT-AC5300 wifi router for TimeMachine backups, and iTunes Media Server. My MacBook Pro environment includes the wireless 3DConnexion SpaceMouse, Apple Magic Mouse2, Brother Wireless Laser Printer, etc., but the freedom to just pickup and move from room to room or office to cafe and return back home without ever plugging anything in is priceless, seamless, and stressles! Combined that with my iCloud, dropbox, or google account and I’ll never need a dongle, adaptor, USB Drive again. I even sync my iPhone & iPad wirelessly with the MBP, and any photos or videos taken are automatically available across all devices. It’s a shocker that Apple has left this way of using their Macs out of their direct marketing and commercials. Makes me feel special, like I’m getting away with something that everyone else is not privilaged to experience because they haven’t discovered this yet.

      lightgorm i think you are dreaming. the fastest internet speed in the world is 26.7 mb/s. the average internet speed in the world is 5.6mb/s now please do the math.

    • @kwiknip
      @kwiknip 8 років тому +2

      steef vendy…. I don't need an internet connection to read/write huge files wirelessly between macOS & other devices on the same WiFi network. The transfer speeds are as fast as my MBP's built-in WiFi and router WiFi connection. Of course its not as fast as a wired 40Gb/s Thunderbolt3 USB-C direct connection, but what I've realized years ago when transfer speeds were a lot slower is that you'll never reach or sustain maximum transfer speeds between wired or wireless devices unless all connected devices support the max speed on both ends & latency in between. The iCloud account (not to be confused with the iCloud Drive) I simply enabled for Apple's continuity features between macOS & iOS devices. OneDrive, DropBox, iCloud & Google Drive accounts totally replace the need for a small flash drive or SDXC for single file size transfers plus you can share a download link with whomever you wish without the need to mail or drop off a thumb drive. I've only had one instance were I needed to transfer the contents of an external 1TB-HDD in one day & that was because that drive was reported as failing according to TechTool Pro diagnostics but typical daily usage never required me to upload or transfer the entire 1TB or whatever file contents of an external device on a daily professional basis, its typically done in spurts per project to my newly replaced TB-SSHD connected via USB3 to my wireless router (I could go even deeper with technicalities regarding accessing the drive remotely over the internet but you already understand how that works). It's become an extremely stable solution over the years to cutting all the umbilical cords, and totally worth the convenience of not having a corded mess on your desk or in your lap IMHO.😎

    As a Windows user, seeing Apple fanboys pulling out a bag of dongles is so funny to me.
    On my laptop, you need to connect a mouse? Plug it in, DONE.
    Monitor? Plug in HDMI. DONE.
    Keyboard, mouse or speaker over bluetooth? Settings > Devices > Add a device. DONE.
    External anything? Plug it in to the USB. DONE.
    Camera? Plug the card into the SD card reader.
    Want to do something? Touch the screen!
    And all this achieved with 0 dongles. Welcome to the beauty of Windows hardware. But you Apple fanboys who are spending up to $4500 on a laptop will continue loving your bag full of dongles and 1-inch tall touch bar. BUT THE TRACKPAD IS SO FKING AWESOME, touchscreens are for dumb people!

    • @mariokartfanatic1731
      @mariokartfanatic1731 8 років тому +5

      I think Apple is losing their vision of simplicity...
      I am currently using the iPhone 6s, and it's great 👍! But, it's Apple's new products that have problems. The biggest obvious problem is the lack of ports.
      *The iPhone 7: I think that it's ALMOST perfect. The reason I say "almost" is because it's not much better or worse than the Google Pixel (what is currently thought to be the best android phone). Why can't there be a headphone jack? Apple doesn't understand that not everybody wants to spend over $100 on some Bluetooth headphones.
      *The MacBook Pro: are you f*cking kidding me? Why USB-C only? I'm sure that USB-C is thinner and faster, but it isn't universal. It's not worth shaving off a millimeter off of your laptop, only to carry a bag full of dongles. Also, still no touch screen?
      Although, I do like the idea of the touch bar, if it's used correctly, it could be intuitive.
      Apple is really falling behind.

      The SP3 only has 1 USB A and no one is complaining. SMH

    • @Roomer645
      @Roomer645 8 років тому +1

      Ofcourse not since it's a TABLET and you can connect a keyboard (with trackpad) to it.
      Also the power cord has it's own port. 1 USB port for a tablet is just pure bliss.
      The Macbook PRO is a laptop, for PRO users that use it for more than just email, instagram, twitter, and facebook. They attach other hardware for their design/recording/music/3D sessions and that's where they run into trouble.

    • @lbrown5142
      @lbrown5142 8 років тому +1

      wildreams The SP3 has a USB, Mini display port and microSD card reader. For a tablet, it's pretty impressive (iPad pro has nothing, remember?). The Surface Book has Sd card reader, mini display port, and its own charger-dock port.

    • @wildreams
      @wildreams 8 років тому

      The SP3 is a 2-in-1 PC that is supposedly able to replace your tablet and laptop, however:
      1. It doesn't even run most of the mobile apps since it is Windows.
      2. Most people use it as an ultra-portable laptop.
      3. It is priced like an ultra-portable laptop.
      4. And the USB is so weak and slow it doesn't even work with some of my external HDD, without a powered dongle.
      5. It also has the word "pro" in it.
      Again, yet no one is complaining?

      The Xeon cPU inside the Mac Pro lacks Quicksync that FCPX uses making a H.264 export a lot faster. Premiere Pro does not take avantage of it either that is why it renders alot slower than FCPX.

    Justine what's your recommendation for me as I am planning to buy an Apple laptop that I need for school/college and I've never owned a Apple laptop or PC so I was wondering do you think it be better to have the new one with no ports or maybe the last year's version to make it seem little more simple like other original apple laptop/PCs?

      I'm planning on getting a Macbook Pro 13" 2015 (Retina) for school. I'm also using it for video editing because I have a YT channel. If you're on the windows side (I'm on both) the Surface Pro 4 or last year's Surface Book is also a good option.

      surfacebook if you are in school is a dream come true. Paperless... love it. If you aren't in school I don't recommend it, you wouldn't make use of the 2in1 and pen which is the whole point in it.
      XPS13 is the best option otherwise.

    • @Leo-yn5fx
      @Leo-yn5fx 8 років тому +1

      j gonger Not a fan of the 2 in 1 thing. I was looking at the xps 15.

    • @anonymous134y
      @anonymous134y 8 років тому

      Carter That's why I said it depends on what you are doing on it. It's not for everyone and the features provided are for niche uses. It's too much for a laptop otherwise.
      Powerpoint (lectures) + Surface pen = godly. Ebooks +onenote+surface pen = godly.
      I am in a lot of bio, calc and physics type courses where a regular keyboard is useless.

    • @Leo-yn5fx
      @Leo-yn5fx 8 років тому

      j gonger Ok so now that we cleared that i'm not a school user, is the xps 15 a solid choice?

    • @anonymous134y
      @anonymous134y 8 років тому

      Carter xps is a solid laptop. Dell is up to date with drivers and the hardware is high quality. I have never seen a XPS15 model, but a ton of 13s. Although the 15 shouldn't be any different in build quality.
      I can't think of anything bad about it. Some amazing ultrabooks have bad hinges but dell has one of the best i've seen. Very firm and durable. Has your typical ports, ASUS is following apple in the port nonsense. Battery lasts all day easily. Display is much better than a retina piece of shit. Good travel on the keyboard. Good mouse.
      I research tech quite a bit and if I didn't need my Surfacebook features, i'd have a XPS. Since the Surfacebook would be too expensive to not use everything you get with it.

UA-cam is a hustle, entertaining people for a living. She has recognition for being on UA-cam since 2006, for being a host in other CREATIVE channels, and for being an actress. And yes, this is still CREATIVE content, because she CREATES a VLOG for entertainment, and for her subscribers. *drops mic
