These guys are the best players in their country! I’m barely the best player in my chair
Don't touch my chair...???
and that's on a good day
cheers to the sponsor Chris.. great idea for a lecture.
Yeah thanks Chris, this was an awesome lecture topic
Holy the tactics in 3rd game were insane
Great lecture and nice to learn about these South African players.
love his sense of humor
Best strategy for being paired down according to Ben: take them out of preparation early. Best strategy for being paired up according to Ben: take them out of preparation early
Never prepare
if they're the same rating, you need to play into their deepest prep
Thank you so much Ben & Christopher for such a wonderful lecture..... I'm a chess coach at primary schools in my community of high unemployment rates. Yet the kids have so much talent we just unfortunately don't have facilities to groom our young kids. I THEREFORE TOOK IT UPON MYSELF TO MAKE THAT MUCH NEEDED CHANGE. Anyone willing to assist our ooung club in any way it will be much appreciated... Thanks
Wonderful lecture, thank you!
Got my glass of whisky ready 🍷
Cawdery game was insane, would make a good 5-minute with Ben for those who didn't catch the lecture. This is one of my favorite lectures you've done, love learning about talented players I have never heard of.
😅I need lectures for top Gambian best player GM Ben.. please help us
Fantastic players and games, very creative and sharp play!
Wow thanks Ben, nice lecture about these amazing South African players ❤
Sergei Zhigalko is the more famous one and was almost 2700. Andrey peaked at 2628
GO SOUTH AFRICA! I haven't seen South Africa mentioned much in the chess world
Thats sadly true...yet so much potential exists
Go Ben!!
He doesn’t know I’m the best player in South Africa 🇿🇦
yes but, you're white. White south africans have been politically incorrect. Only black south Africans matter
I thought this was a complete joke but you’re genuinely top 50 in RSA!
Thank you
Great lecture thanks Ben!
I would love to see a lecture on the best players from my country, Ireland. That would be a very short lecture.
Fun topic for a lecture! I'd love to see more stuff on players from less obvious countries
thank you
Wow some beautiful attacking games here. Greta work!
Oh Ben you look gorgeous! 😍🤤
nice
Ben so funny it hurts
@3:58 "Peter Leko might be the best prepped player in 2001, sorry about that Kasparov" looking towards the heavens... I didn't know Kasparov died...
RIP
Kasparov is alive, just duct taped to Ben’s ceiling.
@@thetree1994 LOL. Maybe Ben has room upstairs?
Kasparov is God with a gun
I almost knew that they are scatterlings of africa but they are gone with the wind while i was enjoying a very known drink from...??
i love Peter Lecko
Cento is a small italian town
Darn, I do like the Alekhine... well, I guess I'll see how I can avoid being dismantled
SA in the house !!!!!!!!!!!!
neat
You should've shown Michelakis vs Finegold. Michelakis is also South African.
God, Watu Kobese is my new favorite player. None of his moves make any sense and he still beats players that are top 10 in the world.
Ben talking about his beard is Kanye Ben
f6- bad move?
Never play f6
This lecture made me look up the best players in my own country (Canada) and learned that Eric Hansen is our #2 🤮.
I blame Ben blame for this.
Edit: is joke.
Hansen is strong. At least a few GMs have said he could have hit 2700 if he had focused on chess instead of streaming.
@@aarons3014 I'm only joking anyway. Edit: and you're right.
@@probaddie456Don't support this guy.
Hansen is #1 for homegrown Canadian chess talent. Bareev only moved to Canada when he was in his 30s
ED 😂
🍔
Benst by test.
Do they play black?
I'm guessing you think you're being funny. Unfortunately no. Sad is more accurate.
Wait a second guys, i just noticed that there no good black chess player not even a gm right? Never saw a good black chess player why? They no smart?
There's a game by a black grandmaster in the video. Maybe you are the one who is no smart.
@@aarons3014
Dude there is " a grabdmaster" its like so rare so why you talkin like you told me something special
You are clearly being a troll. Maurice Ashley is a GM so your racist point isn’t even correct.
@@georgehornsby2075 u guys playin dumb or really dumb? Its fookin obvious that there is no good black chess player its just so rare to even find a black gm so what you all on about
He’s so patronizing it’s disgusting
You must be new around here. It's just humor. Relax
Got my glass of whisky ready 🍷
