    As a child abuse victim, I knew Jussie was lying as soon as I saw footage of him from a small concert he gave at a nightclub a day or two after the news broke. He said something about the attack & said he was ok, but his emphasis was on letting everyone know that he fought back & got some good hits in. While people do behave in different ways after trauma, being concerned with acting like you were strong & held your own is not something that would ever be a concern for a victim. A real victim would’ve still been in shock at that point in time & still thinking it couldn’t have actually happened to them. Jussie was only concerned with looking cool & being a hero for black & gay civil rights.

    • @CoopyKat
      @CoopyKat Рік тому +1

      @southbug27 You're right, that is a sure sign he was lying. But for me, it was the Robin Roberts interview. Before I saw that, I never heard any rumor that he may be lying about the incident. But his body language and statements to Robin made me think he was embellishing the incident somehow, then I did a google search and found rumors it was all a hoax. I went back and re-watched his interview, and I could tell 100% it was all made up. In that interview he also brags about him "fighting back." How pathetic is that?

      @@gaila.9852 Jussie Smollet is NOT a victim. He’s a lowlife, conman, POS who should be rotting in prison right now. There is such a thing as a real victim; it’s someone who has actually been beaten, raped, kidnapped, & tortured. Jussie is someone who invented a crime so he could be more famous & get more money. Shame on him, you, & anybody else who is still defending that fraud. Having been kidnapped as a child I know that victims behave in many different ways because I witnessed it & lived through it; it’s also how I new he was a lying POS right away. His story of what happened in the first place didn’t sound right to any person with basic critical thinking skills. Reasoned people knew that even the press had some major details wrong or they were missing lots of details or it was a hoax. You won’t to put you’re energy into a real victim; then I beg you to put it behind Rasheem Carter’s family because he & his family are real victims & there won’t be any answers without more public outrage, especially on social media.

I don’t blame them for that but HE knew the brothers had nothing to lose and thought the public would side with him because of who he is so when they got caught, he was willing to let them go to jail for something HE planned but the tables turned. They have a right to clear their names and even profit off of it as they should. We wanted to know EVERYTHING for four years & they’re giving it to us. He shouldn’t have planned any of this to begin with. That plane ride he posted to his IG story on his second flight to Chicago that night was where he claimed to have missed the first one. The fact that he missed the first one was a sign he should’ve called the whole thing off because he was headed for trouble. I bet he has nightmares over that moment.

And for what...an opportunity for fame...disgustingly inappropriate..and i find no sincerity in this...

    Thanks to the hoax, 4 positive things happened and they're all hilarious. The first was we got to meet these 2 guys, 2nd is Dave Chappelle's comedy segment, 3rd being the bodycam footage of Smollett walking around his apartment with the noose still around his neck and 4th was the parody rehearsal video that almost ended me when the guy at the end said "You Can Western Union me because I don't have my papers" with a Nigerian accent.

    • @housewifehoneybee2784
      @housewifehoneybee2784 Рік тому

      They didn't commit a crime. Jussie is the one who filed a false police report.

    • @putnamcountycrimeanalysiswandr
      @putnamcountycrimeanalysiswandr Рік тому +1

      The crime was not faking a beating in the street. The crime was then reporting the fake attack to the police. The brothers had absolutely no involvement whatsoever in reporting it to the police and in fact were on a plane to Nigeria hours after this incident. While Smollett was reporting it to the police and playing victim and having a pity party for himself, the two brothers were in Nigeria for several weeks. It was while they were away that the police pieced together what happened and who the men on the video were. The continuity of video evidence was incredible. Police reverse-engineered their travel from their home. Then they uncovered UBER video picking up these two in another neighborhood at that time and dropping them off several blocks away, then walking to the scene. Video all along the route was captured. That's why one detective testified he didn't sleep for 30 hours and worked straight through, before any video could be recorded over. It was when the brothers returned from Nigeria, police were waiting for them at the airport and told they were wanted for questioning in connection with an assault. It was at that time that the brothers realized that this thing had spiraled way out of control and that Smollett had actually reported it to the police. They told the police the correct version of events that very same night, separated from each other, without any chance to concoct a version of events. That's why you separate witnesses.....so they can't parrot each other. The investigation pivoted. Then Smollett went on GMA and it was clear their good friend Smollett was ready to throw them under the bus to save himself. It was also clear Smollett never had any intention of reporting this to the police but rather let the media handle it. They will do ZERO investigation and blame Trump.
      I'm glad that we can now laugh about it. Imagine it wasn't -15 degrees outside but rather a nice summer evening with people walking around. God forbid that two white men just happened to be walking down the street at 2am, Smollett would've identified them as the attackers, the media would've crushed them without a trial, and they'd both be doing 10 years in prison, wrongfully convicted.
      Also a shame that, as usual, President Trump got dragged into it for absolutely no reason other than left wing hatred.
