Floating floats for some minutes before sinking , buy locally produced company feed like blue crown and others if u have money you can use foreign for 1-2 months before the switch

My catfish brand here in Thailand suggest changing feed at 6 weeks then at 3 months. They sell three sizes. I just went to stage 2 feed at 7 weeks. In ground plastic pond water gets dirty very quickly. Most people here buy smaller size than i see in African vlogs because cheaper for seller and buyer.
Length depends on the fish species and the space in the pond but if feed very well from juvenile to 6weeks you will get between 200g to 400g body weight

In youtube videos I see calculations for fish numbers based on volume and I thought to myself about the behavior of catfish. I dug an ingrown pond and lined it with plastic do its a V shape with the bottom over a meter wide cnd the top sbout 3 meters. So as they like to be at bottom I thought to myself this is the problem and they aren't growing and every now and then a larger one gets eaten. Recently I saw a video calculating stocking based on area and not volume. Is this the answer? One end of dam subsided so it is even narrower. If I suck out the water we see lots of food floating in shallow water which wasn't evident in full dam. Do they bomit food because over eating or from stress of draining the water out. Thank I am waiting in appreciation for your answer. I think I'll need to get another tank
I explained all these in many videos on this page, u can type vomiting and see why they vomit and the main reason is disturbing them after they finished eating before the feed digest they will surely vomit nothing like over feeding because they will not open their mouth to eat if they are ok, I cannot give any formula for calculation I gave said anyone that want to know should measure the pond and send to me I will give you the no for best result because I don't want to make middle men rich with any formulas

If u mistakenly bought deformed fishes just try and raise them up to smoking and sell them because u can't get the best from them no matter what you do to improve them
