But who will go to Camden to watch the game except for South Joiseyans...
No way philly people are going to drive over to pay a toll now
Most of the fan base is already in Jersey.
I rather be in Chinatown eating than go to a sixers game to be honest. Sixers ain’t do nothing for this city.
@@alexsihalath I've never really been interested. Even back in the Glory Days of Dr J.
@@alexsihalath LMAO! HUH? SO A PRO SPORTS TEAM DOESNT DO ANYTHING FOR ITS HOST CITY? ARE YOU SURE? YOU WENT TO WHARTON HUH?
If they move the 76ers from Philly it won’t be no more
What a joke...
Philadelphia is the poorest major city and its residents will fight to keep it that way. That area along Market Street is depressing and needs the investment, along with the rest of the city.
@@munequa81 Actually Market Street Has seen a lot of major development lately. You wouldn't recognize it from 20 years ago.
@@WALTERBROADDUS it does look better than the 90s but considering the value of the area and it being downtown, it's still not reaching its potential.
@@WALTERBROADDUS that’s great news. I hope it continues to improve.
You have no idea wtf you're talking about. You're literally wrong about every statement you just made
@@malikholmes5045 take your opinion to your local government instead of some random comment on youtube.
Why are they not fine just where they are now? And why would you even consider taking it to nj? They are a Philadelphia team. Makes no sense
Because they don't own the building. They are tired or sharing Revenue. Idgaf though. They suck
Yes, please go to NJ. Leave Chinatown alone!!!
That Camden lot is far away from light rail.
The Sixers will never win any championship. Let Jersey have them.
Screw building a new arena. The 76ers ownership already said the team is an investment and they need the new arena for when they sell the team. Also by the time that arena is finished the team will rebuilding and be a losing team.
The mayor needs to say no and more on to more important issues in the city. Like cleaning up Kensington and cracking down on crime.
@@R_A_3000 the mayor wants to support of the construction unions.
@@WALTERBROADDUS They should already support her even though half of the union workers don't live in the city. Plus there's tons of construction already going on right now in the city. The police union is more important most of those officers live in the city and they need more resources. Not backing them isn't good for her reelection.
@@R_A_3000 Well there's a reason why the weakest political population in the city is getting picked on once again.... And City Council has been giving this the silent treatment ever since the election.
These Piliticsns are controlled by the Elite who control the narrative , similar to rapping puppets except these people are corporate and wear suits....
Go away!! The Sixers staying in the city is important!!
The arena being downtown would be very accessible to philly residents to attend games particularly the urban area and surrounding suburbs due to train access straight there and parking facilities, jobs is something else they tend to not hire the low income residents without extensive work history but overall it should be put in center city
Its already in the city you know if they do decide to build traffic with 95 will be backed up plus building on 95 and new arena will be kaos more road rage mor delayed hours getting home
@@kinggoonba2124 The games are evening games people will be off from work and there’s septa transportation no traffic in addition the local residents wouldn’t experience traffic because it’s home town no need for 95 to get home
If the soccer team can play in Chester. No one will care if the Sixers go across the bridge. Not to mention the $6 Bridge toll will make the Port Authority happy to get on board.
Philly cares a helluva lot more about the Sixers than they do the Union. Apples and Oranges. A Philly institution vs a minor league team. Playing elsewhere in Pennsylvania against moving to New Jersey. 🤫
@@otr89-mm4hv they already have their practice facility there.
Nobody cares are about soccer here bruh. Sixers better not leave!!!
@@WALTERBROADDUS So, what?
@@WALTERBROADDUS Do people attend practices?
Would be sad irony if the Camden 76ers leads to Chinatown looking more like Kensington losing that tax base to Gov Murphy & NJ.
@@BlimpCityFeeder people have been feeding Chinatown that same promise for decades. It's the same lie they gave when they built the expressway. It's the same lie they gave when they built the Gallery. It's the same lie they gave when they built the Convention Center. None of it has made Chinatown better.
I side with Chinatown I still remember the expressway ramps BS back in the 70s Market street East never lived up to its promises. We don’t need another boondoggle!
Build that Arena right downtown Philadelphia
Philly can’t have anything nice… We didn’t gilet the Amazon bid and now a whole state is vying for our team…
I just hope it isn't downtown.
They should put it on Franklin Mills mall
I love that idea
Plenty of room up there
Win Win !!!
Stays in Philadelphia
Plenty of parking
Easy to get to
Get a brand new stadium
Brings taxpayer money to the city
Employees the construction workers
Weren’t they also trying to get a trolley system on the boulevard
Knock some hoods down were it's all abandoned then you'll improved a area and keep them here
@@TheBringeroftruth333 well the site proposed, used to be a prison actually....
What will happen to the wishy washy places??
😂😂
Let'em go to Jersey.
The site sits on top of a major transportation hub. We are suffering now with low ridership. We need more people to take public transportation. The site is perfect to help attract more ridership and help the economy of Market Street. For the few displaced we definatly should help. But stop development on an major well placed site for using mass transit would be foolish for people who believe in taking CO2 out of the sky and reducing traffic. Also, why has Chinatown in DC worked to keep their basketball and hockey team from leaving DC to go to VA?
@@robertw.previdi5450 as if all the existing businesses were not enough to get people to use public transit?
I’m Cherokee Indian I said put it in Chinatown
Stay outta this redskin
Kee the arena out of Chinatown. Otherwise where else will we be able to buy Japanese Kit-Kat bars and Chinese beer flavored and chicken foot flavored potato chips (they're really good)? You can't find them in Little Saigon btw
Do not move to New Jersey State in Philly Philadelphia 76ers that is the name that is the team know New Jersey???
This a ultimatum fr... Give us market st arena or we go to Jersey smh.....
Should I stay or should I go😅,
Wow 😯
Put the stadium in Chinatown
Good luck with that philly
Let them go. Stupid idea to put an arena in Center City. Stop paying off politicians
I don’t care they can keep it and they can take the New York giants and jets and put them in own city New Jersey is New Jersey and Philadelphia is Philadelphia the someway with New York
Stay in south Philly! Like what’s the problem here?
They don't own the building, and they're tired of sharing Revenue
@@malikholmes5045 nba and nhl haven’t been sharing the same building for centuries
Wait not good for black folks in Chinatown 😂😂😂 what was she talking about
Hope NJ wins and gives Parker the finger
Lol 😂
Nope! Camden SC and the Flag of Great Britain. Maybe people need to stop disrespecting the black American Madonna mother.
