as a person who plays this game for 7 years , i think it is not necesserly to spend money on this game , at least if you willing to play for a long time
I’ve been playing on and off with big breaks in between but I’ve been playing since the day the game was released in 2016 March 2nd. The used to have a painful but attainable progression but nowadays it’s mostly just buy buy buy
we had several events to give out free evo's and getting shards per season is easy enough alongside this recent evo's have been balanced including pekka which was underused at the time.
It's so sad to see my favourite mobile game get less and less attention and players because of bad updates . I have quitted a long time ago for the reason that I can't compete against level 15 mid ladder menaces. The game is so unique and fun at its core , it's supercell that's isn't a great company that's destroying the game.
I unfortunately sucom to the game. I quit for a month and come back inna continuous cycle. It does suck because the game is awesome and it’s not the same as it used to be.
Ngl, the 'you need to pay to stay relevant is bad' argument is just out of touch. Cant expect to get a polished game with new content continously getting added for free The pricing tho- 10-11€ for an evo is kinda nuts and 15€ for the pass each season, too much
I mean I understand not having free content contiously. However, it is very awful to play free ask any UA-camr or streamer and they admit it that you need to sink a decent amount of money to be solid at the game as a base. The prices are awful. It’s 16.99 Canadian dollars for pass and around the same for evos

@@chiefcosta they have been getting better, the new lucky drop system makes grinding from just playing the game a lot better and faster
