Looks like a epic game! I've played only the first sly game, 100% complete, but i once bought the 3rd game, honor among theives, but it it didn't work, for trying it AFTER about a half-hour of even owning it! It was in it's case the whole time till i tried to get it working. But too bad, i don't have a ps3, or playstation Vita, or a xbox 360, just a ps2 :l But i wish i had the money for this stuff.
Insomniac? EW! I would DIE if they took control. Plus Insomniac never had Sly. Sucker Punch did. And Sucker Punch LET Sanzaru do it, they are always in contact. Sucker Punch tells them good and bad things, what to keep and what not to keep. They are sort of somewhat working together.
STOP HATING!!!!! This game looks great!!!!!!!!!! And I remember loving the first 3 as a little kid. And I believe sanzaru is doing a good job so far YAY 4 SLY!!!!!!
Um, dude, Sucker Punch are the original creators. And whats wrong with Sanzaru? The game hasn't even released yet man. Lets not start this. Please chill out and wait to judge. This is coming from a Sly fan who has spent probably 250+ hours playing the entire series >_>
i think every character has a different voice by the way that isn't sly thats his ancestor you actually get to play as past thieves in racoon history don't worry sly well still be playable and no they didn't change his voice go look at some off the gameplay they showed off last e3
i have been disapointed with sanzaru for awhile hoping that they would show me something new and great and now im finally happy with what they are doing and cant wait to play, they should have released it in the summer though but the more time worked on the better right?
The only thing that kinda bugs me is how Sanzaru decided to redisign sly's ancestors instead of using the originals seen in previous Sly games but still, I dont care all that much I just wanna play more Sly !!
At first i had my douths too but you know things change and change isn't always bad. I think the game is really going to give you an old-school gameplay and will be really nice to play too. Sly ftw! ;)

They were doomed from the start. Sly was never that popular to being with as the franchise sold less than 5 million units. It came out for the PS3, Sony’s worst performing home console. And it came out before people who grew up with Sly could be nostalgic for it like Insomniac took advantage of with their latest ratchet games. The only people who bought thieves in time were the Die-hard fans of sly cooper, or parents who bought their kids this game on a whim. People who were Teenagers and young adults skipped this game entirely when it came out because it came out at the wrong time.
Also they were bought out by Facebook as part of Oculus Studios so they’re never going to work on sly again. They did do Spyro 3 though as part of the Reignited Trilogy before they were bought out to help out Toys For Bob.

no they dont, atleast not all of them, i have a first model PS3 and it is not backwards compatible to the PS2.

i am saving up for it now and saving for a hdtv there are other games im want to get but this made me want to play video games again

Im a huge sly fan and i think that sanzaru is doing a great job and i cant wait to face the new future enimies to come
this hame really does surpass cod and halo on every way nothing can beat this ... well for right now anyway

It's probably multi-player like the games in Sly 3. Either that or online play.
I always thought the Alter Ego avatars looked more like Raphael and Leonardo (TMNT) than Rambo.
