Hey StreamYard! I am currently using a HyperX Quadcast which has a very nice built in noise suppression and reduces key clattering and mouse clicks. But when I set it up in VMB it "overrides" those settings and is constantly picking up all noices. I use slobs as recording for streaming and could use input filters there but would rather keep the preset settings with the microphone.
Two people , two headsets , how to set up voicemeeter I wouldn´t hear own voice, only friend´s voice and we should hear each other? I am using basic version. Virtual input A is selected so I can hear the video and also my voice because on my mic input I have selected A selection ,otherwise there is no output for the my and friend´s voice for the video editing software.
Im still watching this as im interested but im curious if you can use this program for 2 mics in the same room? We currently are having issues with echoing and would like to use 2 mics but if this software can solve the problem can you give me some input and advice on how to set that up? Many thanks!
Hey there! If you are having issues with echoing, it may be because you have two separate instances/devices for each camera and microphone. Since you are in the same room, here are some things to check: - Are the speakers on your devices off? Since you are in the same room, you do not need to have the sound on. Having the sound on would cause echo. - If the speakers are off, but you are still having echo, how close are the two hosts to each other and what are the microphone input levels set to? If the microphones are far away from your mouths and you are turning up the volume to compensate, this can start to pick up the other host's voice. The solution there is to keep the microphones close to your mouths and reduce the gain and/or move the hosts further away from each other. - Katie 🦆
If you're using those mics all as separate UBS inputs, I think you'll be assigning them each to their own hardware input. If they go through an A/D converter, then you MIGHT have the option to assign them separately (mine doesn't) but if you don't, you can assign them to mic 1 and control their levels discretely on the A/D converter itself. B2 is what goes to the stream and others on the stream (unless they are on one of those mics in the room with you). You would assign everything but your own mic to A1 and set that for your cans so you don't hear yourself coming back.
I need help with a problem I have with voicemeeter. Since I started using voicemeeter, when I raise or lower my desktop volume it never changes, so everytime I load up a game I have to manually lower all of the volume settings in the games which idk will effect the sound in the stream or not. Basically every audio source, from games to discord, I have to manually change the audio levels because holding fn and changing the volume doesn’t change it at all. Is there anyway to fix this so I can accurately equalize mic audio and game audio? Because even when I get it to sound good I’m my headset, the output levels don’t change and don’t wanna blare loud audio when I start streaming. Should I just select my regular headset as default source and keep the voicemeeter mic aux output as the default source so it’s just my mic with the configured settings active without changing the audio I hear? Any tips would be much appreciated 🙏🏻

I can not chat for more than 3 seconds as my voice through my headphones is unusual and not used to it, is there any way of turning this off but still broadcast my voice?
What does it sound like? Do you have any processing enabled? You want to try playing with the settings that you have enabled and figure out which one you need to adjust to get your voice sounding like you want it.
Feel free to share a link to a video where you get two different voice sounds.

@@StreamYard Voice sounds like a radio presenter LOL really crisp and clean vocal sounds. I'm just not used to hearing myself when I talk and constantly stoping mid sentence, but I am getting used to it, I guess it will take time as i have just started streaming over the last week or so. thanks for the reply, much appreciated. Your Video is awesome btw, would never had got it sorted without your tutorial. Thanks :)
Turn off the A1 (or whatever hardware output you headphones are set to). It'll still record your voice but you will no longer be able to hear it.
Can this be used for clubhouse??
why do i have sound latency only when i am streaming? it didnt appear on any other software except streamlabs
What type of camera are you using to stream? Also, have you run a speed test to see what your upload and download speeds are? Upload is what is important.
Here is how to check your upload speeds. streamyard.com/blog/how-to-live-stream/recommended-upload-speeds-for-live-streaming/

What would be a solution for Mac OS?
Currently there isnt a virtual mixer available on Mac OS.
Check out Loopback from Rogue Amoeba. rogueamoeba.com/loopback/
If you're using a Rode NT-USB Mini, you can try using Rode Connect. www.rode.com/software/rode-connect

just did all steps, but stream sound goes on even if i mute all channels at banana, did I miss something?
Make sure you have the correct sources selected on your stream.
Why do I have the normal voicemeeter? I installed the banana and even the installer said it was banana.
Did you figure it out?
Even if, if anyone else has the same question: I had to search in the little window search bar for "Voicemeeter Banana." It still downloads both I've found, and I had to specifically search for the one I wanted.
When I open up a game while in discord apparently my mic makes everything echo but i cant hear it, i just irritate everyone in the party. Any idea how to fix this? this voice meeter thing has given me to many headaches
Hi there,
Can you try enabling "Echo Cancellation" in the Studio Audio settings?
-Evan🦆
@@StreamYard i tried but still the same issue, i uninstalled and im going to run through the whole process again! I followed someone else before this video so i might have gotten something crossed, appreciate the response!
No problem, you might also consider plugging in headphones so the sound doesn't loop from your speakers back through your mic :) 😊👍🏼🦆
What happen to the EXE file for Voicemeeter Banana mixer? All there is ZIP Package
unzip it and you get the exe
@@Klokorix99 How do you unzip voicemeeter banana? He didn't show us that step.
if you right click on windows 10 it should show a option to unzip or unpackage the file, it should be straight forward from there :)@@o.r.d3448
Can we integrate whatsapp calling in voice meter for taking live calls while using streamyard
Anything on your computer can be connected to voicemeeter
My youtube kinda got weird and says audio renderer error after I switched to my main output source.
Hi. Did you try quitting the program, and restarting your computer? Then try launching VoiceMeeter again.
Christian Karasiewicz 🦆
@@StreamYard thanks for the reply, I think I've figured it out 😅. I had to change the sound input and output in the control panel to make it work again.

what's everything used for?
You can use VoiceMeeter Banana to bring audio into your live stream. This could include background music, sound effects, and more.
how come i go to download it and it says reboot pc. then when i reboot my pc it doesnt download and it doesnt show up
Sometimes you have to reboot your PC because you have updates to install. Check there first. Other times, they require you to reboot your machine to continuing with the installation.
Christian Karasiewicz 🦆
is there a macOS version?
StreamYard is browser-based, rather than a downloaded program :) You can go to streamyard.com on your Chrome or Firefox browser to get started! ~Mylon 🦆
@@StreamYard 🤔the program (voice meter banana) I see this video is only for windows user
@@GoFigureGo correct. If you need a Max version, check out Loopback from Rogue Amoeba.

Okay this is gonna sound prolly pretty stupid... But I installed voicemeeter not knowing voicemeeter banana was free and better (still new to this audio stuff) so now I want banana but do I have to uninstall voicemeeter in order to have banana to work or can I just install over top of voicemeeter cuz banana gives u both anyways. I really do not want to uninstall voicemeeter becuz I'm prolly gonna fuck my shit up lol but I'm getting impatient and been searching for tht specific question for 3 days now and can not find anywhere.. Plz help before I send my head threw my monitor... lmao
It looks like you have to install VoiceMeeter and then install VoiceMeeter Banana.
You've got this!
Christian Karasiewicz 🦆
@@StreamYard ok I have banana now but was I suppose to de install the VB cable tht I installed with the regular one and get a different or new Virtual audio cable install or no
@@StreamYard srry for buggin u and making this seem more complicated then it prolly actually is.. lol
@@GuidoGamin When you want to change versions of VoiceMeeter, you run the previous installer for the version you want to remove. It gives you the uninstall button, click it. Reboot the PC. Now run the new installer for the upgraded version, and it will install that one instead. Reboot the PC, and run the new program
I'm still confused 😕
1. If voicemeeter is the speaker, how do we get audio to play through our actual speakers when we're not recording?
2. How do I get browsers to play in my broadcast?
3. How do I get Zoom conference on a separate audio channel so I can mute it?
4. How do I use this with OBS?
I was sent your video by support, but it doesn't answer my questions.

Is this available for Mac?
Hey there! Loopback is the Mac equivalent: support.streamyard.com/hc/en-us/articles/9123870861972-How-to-use-Loopback-with-StreamYard - Katie 🦆
Why B2 instead of B1 though?
Great question. It’s more about personal preference. If you use B1, it has everything turned on by default, versus using B2, which makes it easier to set up because all of the defaults are not on, so it might be less confusing if you’re just getting started.

As soon as I changed the playback to Voicemeeter Banana, exactly how this video shows, desktop audio instantly turned into a garbled dumpster fire, was hoping this one would fix my issues but Im probably just going back to basic Voicemeeter because it did not do what ever the hell Banana is doing wrong
Found the Fix, Change from WDM mode to MME, audio crackling went away instantly
I don't want to mointor my voice.. how do i do that?

wondering why we even need set all this to get same as without anything ? :D whats reason ? like we cant stream with just our heatsets?
@@mindaugaszigmantas2137 You can. The point of this is to separate audio streams and have control over each one. So, if you wanted to play music and have it not get recorded, that is an option
First
weird whenever i download it it never says banana
same. Something is wrong with their downloadbles
@@aye796 After Install, you have to search your computer menu of programs for the Banana version. it installs the versions separately on your computer

I guess that's what made me frustrated with voice meter no one could ever explain simply how to monitor your microphone if I can't hear my voice through the microphone what good is it many years later I still think voice meter is piece of garbage another tutorial who don't highlight that problem
Hey there! Here's how you do it: select "A1" on whichever "Hardware Input" channel the microphone is running through. Let us know if that works! - Katie 🦆
@@StreamYard I went through some of your other videos and I figure it out yeah it was very easily A1 so many people have overlooked that part I haven't been using that software for over but I guess 9 or 10 years thank you for taking the time to reply I hope you and your family is doing well
Sure! No worries :) Happy to help! - Katie 🦆
wow this video rocks.. and he's kinda cute :) hehe
👌👌
its too complicated; you should make easier solution. I cant do this.
Which step are you getting stuck on?
Christian Karasiewicz 🦆
I really don't see the purpose of this app. I guess I missed why you would even use it in the first place and I watched the entire video.
Many reasons.. 1 location for volume control of stream. You can introduce more than 1 audio source into the stream..(music, browser, game) and mix it at different volumes. You can apply EQ, Comp, Gate, and other filters right from the interface.
You were talking too fast.
