This how to change uncontrol -9,5 m/s to under control -9 m/s. Keep your envelope warm during fast descent.

That's what you call skill and experience!
Great job remaining calm and keeping your balloon under control!
This was a competition, one of the target))
Omg, that was crazy, respect for staying calm and not burning the envelope!
It's a competition flight, I need to go down, not to the hell)))

This is how pro pilot hot air ballooning in strong winds
"Come in No27, your time is up".
thanks
🔥🎈
Pięknie !!!
Really ballsy. Congrats on your flying skills. I would not eat before taking one of those flights. ahahaha😵💫
Who is filming? A drone or what?
Just, Wow! That was crazy scary looking! How fast were those winds? Thanks for sharing.
Not to much, may be 20 km/h
I'd love to try that descent with a Z425 :)
It won't be looking so dramatic))
/TB CAT EXTRM CHOP!!!!
What was the vertical speed???
Well I will never ride in one now! Thanks for the video
To explain why you shouldn’t let this deter you, passenger balloons (the kind you ride in) never even attempt to go this high, let alone trying a maneuver like this. The particular balloon shown here was designed specifically to be able to handle these sudden wind changes during rapid descents (which they have to do, considering they’re made for competition). So, I assure you, you’ll be fine if you ride in one. They mostly remain between 1000-1500 feet if I recall correctly. It’s fun, by the way, definitely try it.
You are right! I am just terrified of heights. I have a friend who went up last year and he said it was amazing and described the details of how they just go with the wind and land where ever possible, sometimes in back yards or pastures. They landed on the side of a toll road here in town

Usually they land on top of powerlines.
Just look on UA-cam and you’ll see theyre death traps.
Wait who’s recording? Great shot aswell. I’m eating my 💅🏻
3x gimbal was holding the camera))
Phew! I have over 5000 hours balloon time and have NEVER experienced anything like that....I wish I could read Russian so I could see what happened and avoid it like the plague....which of course I am doing my best to avoid right now.
Happy new year! It's a competition flight, I need to get 1000msl from 2000msl as soon as possible for best result. Vertical speed is 8-9 m/s average
Balls of steel...
To survive this, being the cameraman
How this thing was filmed?? Computer effects?
It's camera + 3X axis gimbal + 2 10 metres ropes to the envelope))
@@AeroNuts thanks, cool shoots.
I've guess if the flames stop working is all over for him. ⚰️
Did all that wild maneuvering get you to this day's target or not? Score?
1000 points
oh my word if i was in that basket😰😨💀
I was)) is quite nice, if you have an idea to do your task!
@@AeroNuts were you a bit scared
@@user-zh5pu5lt5f no, that’s how the competition looks like

@@AeroNuts He actually has a drone with him???!!!
@@EdwardSadzewiczit's me on this video, Sergey Latypov. There GoPro with 3 axis gimbal on 2 ropes to the envelope.
@@AeroNuts Thanks for reply! Amazing pilot you are. I am a crew chief on balloons. The camera is attached to the envelope with two ropes! WOW! I think a camera system like this should be mandatory for commercial flights. You know, like black box. I would like to see how this is set up prior to flight.

It's just a competition flight))
Very scary! What really happend here?
Melvorgazh he was sinking with 9.5 m/s but stabilised it
WIND SHEER!
Droping down so the ball on gets lower
What’s recording that
I use mount for the 3 axix gimbal with actioncam.
waat en Dölpess..............
I bet he sharted|
Ok, I've officially decided never to get in one of those thing.
You should try, so much fun!))
And that's exactly why your not suppose to fly hot air balloons on windy days or be up so high he's flying way way to high
1800 hours commercial.....been there done that.......not pleasant
