We’ve spilled too much of our own blood here.” “My friend…” Friend was perhaps too small a word after all they’d been through. “My brother.” Yes, that felt right. “If this is where you choose to stand, than I will stand with you.” “I’d rather you didn’t. Go, and tell your family you love them. They deserve that much.” “What about your own family?” “What’s left of mine is here, with me in this trench.” His words turned softer, weaker. “And… it would be my honour if I could make sure they live.” Those were the last words ever exchanged between the two soldiers. The Survivor never quite forgot about the brother he left on the world.
"They all told her not to go. She was a princess and she belonged in the palace, among ladies of honor, not among common soldiers. The princess instead told them with bravery: "I belong with them as much as I belong in the castle. They sacrifice themselves to keep me safe, so I have no right to call them my servants. In war, we are all equals, because Death has no favorites."
what the hell happened to the rest of my armor??? and what happened to the muscles I will need to heft this sword? I cant go into battle dressed like this!!! Good God can I at least have a pair of boots? and what in the hell is this little flower going to do to help me shed blood? (yes I wanted to write the same thing on the other one, too! 😝) nice music mix - it just doesnt match the art this time. this music evokes the Charge scene in my mind.
