Said this before and will say this again, the most important person in Liverpool hiring and selling players and managers (so far none were fired) in LFC is Michael Edwards.
Chelsea’s 23 year old striker, just starting his 3rd career year, has 11G/A in 1033 minutes and is only getting better but for some reason needs to be replaced even though there are only 3 non Chelsea players ahead of him in that category. He also has best shot conversion rate in the league even though that’s supposed to be his biggest weakness. Please stop peddling these nonsense thoughts about Jackson not being good enough
Have players never left Liverpool before? have contracts never ended before? Have contracts not been renewed before? WTF??? What will be will be. We might end up signing all of them or none of them. That's football... It'll all come out on the wash.
Anything to derail Liverpool as a whole. Thats the mentality of these rivals. They are trying everything. As a Liverpool fan since '74 im not concerned at all. I will be shocked if any of the 3 go. You say Trent will go, nah he's always said he wants to be Liverpool captain. It wouldnt suprise me if he does a Gerrard, one club man. We will see....
Liverpool fan here, personally i think all 3 can leave if they want to. Liverpool will not be extorted Virgil and Mo are reaching the end of their careers and we have a replacement for Trent. Money will be available next summer to buy 2 of the best players out there, and a few squad players. It will be easier as they may be champions of England and Europe.
All their 5'2" players are out of contract the end of this season Edit: A lot of you are taking this literally. Search 5'2"bridge for context. This has nothing to do with Liverpool😂
Trent will go to real, Bradley will take over, they’ll bring in another 16 year old from the academy and somehow end up in a better situation 3 years down the line
I'd love for all three to stay, obviously. But I'm also putting trust in the club's decision making. They've obviously done very well in the past. And I've seen Slot working at Feyenoord with their best players leaving each season. He can handle an awful lot in terms of improving players when needed. If I had to pick just one to stay, it would be Van Dijk. He's the best defender in the world, and he would be the most difficult to replace.
There is no crisis at Liverpool on contracts. They have always made it clear that long term expensive contracts are not were the way for older players. As for TAA, the rumour is that he wants £350k a week. For a full-back that is a great deal of money, especially when you have Bradley. Liverpool have a strategy with contracts and it's not that they don't want to sign them, but it has to fit in that strategy
Liverpool is more structured and knows what they are doing more than United for past 10 years so if i am Liverpool fan i wouldn't be worried about their current contract problems they can fix it and they will. I will never call this as crisis though.
Hot Take for you Mark, if Van Dijk accepts to do a Hyppia and gives armband to Trent all 3 sign if not Vets stay and Scouser leaves for Madrid. And this is super pro Liverpool take.
I've never heard of any big club not signing their best players on contract extensions when they have the money easily, ever. FSG is horrendous, I don't care what they've done in the past, they are a business, not club owners as one would want.
Unfortunately as a Liverpool supporter, these 3 players will want top dollar as two of them, are on their last contract, Liverpool owners will not pay silly money on wages,
as a Liverpool fan im glad on the pitch we're bloody brilliant but our 3 best players contracts expiring under a year, i understand the staff changing but its ridiculous, they all need to re-sign we can't just pick one to stay
I understand this is probably worth talking about. It is a talking point until it isn't. If we were losing this would be bigger than ben hur. Im hoping we get renewals in JAN and we get a massive boost to keep us going. Hopefully we get a central midfielder in JAN too but business can be difficult in JAN. Fair play, this is potentially a crisis, until it isnt- if all 3 leave then we prey they're replaced adequately.
The issue is at Liverpool no player is bigger than any club. You just can’t throw out numbers and expect clubs to just pay it. Man U do that and look where they are.
I like to think I know a thing or two about football, but I also like to think Michael Edwards, et al. know a hell of a lot more. I'm sure there are hundreds of things that go into running a football club are unknown to me. FSG may have started out shaky, but overall they've been superb owners. So while I'd like to see all three players stay, I have enough faith in FSG to prevent any panic from setting in.
I think VVD is the most irreplaceable. While Salah of course is hard to replace I think keeping the defensive stability is most important, lose that and in turn salah has less chances to attack. Trent seems the easiest to replace since his responsibilities can be shared between other players. But a lot of people moan about FSG, I’ll be more concerned if it seems like they completely throw out their wage structure, I do trust them in their financial decisions, if any contracts aren’t signed I’m inclined to think the players were asking for an insane amount that probably threatened the stability Liverpool has had since FSG came in
I don't know why this bothers everyone so much. FSG havd always gone about their business quietly. Nobody knew Jurgen was renewing his contract until he announced it, likewise with Salah, again until the "Salah stays" moment we knew nothing. Salah is taking the spotlight off Trent. Trent being the younger of the three, Virgil, Mo and himself is the one who there should be most speculation about but they're all talking about Mo. Its bothering rival supporters as mucb as Liverpools but only because they're hoping they'll all go.

I'm ok with us keeping VVD and Salah and Trent going, I actually think that Trent made his mind up to go when Klopp left. So if it was me, I'd put VVD and Salah both on a 2 year (perhaps with an optional 3rd year) contract and let Trent go if he wants and step Bradley up
Said this before and will say this again, the most important person in Liverpool hiring and selling players and managers (so far none were fired) in LFC is Michael Edwards.
I agree to keep 2 of them at least.
it's definitely scary to think that next season, all three of them could be gone.
It’s likely to be the agents with unreasonable monetary demands towards their own ends. My feeling is all three want to stay for legacy reasons.
Have players never left Liverpool before? have contracts never ended before? Have contracts not been renewed before? WTF??? What will be will be. We might end up signing all of them or none of them. That's football... It'll all come out on the wash.
trent is obviously going but i also feel like theres no way vvd is going, much bigger chance that salah leaves
They are playing the game
All the gonna extend their contracts and this drama was nonsense at the end
What if this is a bounce like United but a better and hug one . I say we see next season how good liverpool is.
LFC fan here. Of the 3, let Trent go but absolutely hold onto VVD and Salah no matter what.
Anything to derail Liverpool as a whole. Thats the mentality of these rivals. They are trying everything.
Contract talks
We cant maintain this form
Leagues in the bag
We haven’t played anybody decent
Anymore absolute dog💩 excuses or digs to try and discredit the biggest most successful club the lands ever seen and will see.
The Mighty Liverpool FC 🏆🔴💪🏻
Triple Xmas eve announcement all three deals done media coop 😎
you know life is good when the only crisis we got are the contract situation
Love them all to stay obviously. Likelihood of staying IMHO (1) VVD, (2) Salah, (3) Trent. We need to sort it out in the next 2 weeks.
You already know that past lfc legends are in their ears. None of them are leaving.
All their 5'2" players are out of contract the end of this season
Edit: A lot of you are taking this literally. Search 5'2"bridge for context. This has nothing to do with Liverpool😂
He is 1000% sure he said " 5ft10" players" 😂😂
Liverpool has one of the tallest squads what are you barking about 😂
If you know, you know. 😂
@@gokus113 salah is not tall Bro
@@Its_kelzzthat’s why he said squad
Desperately trying to manage salaries, i actually respect it.
I think Liverpool will be ok mark 😂😂
No player is bigger than LFC would be good if they signed a contract but no one is irreplaceable.
They don't want to leave. How can they give up that daily breakfast Buffet!!!
Give him what he want❤
Unfortunately as a Liverpool supporter, these 3 players will want top dollar as two of them, are on their last contract, Liverpool owners will not pay silly money on wages,
It really is, Salah will not renew hahah
He will renew, he owns old trafford either way😂
as a Liverpool fan im glad on the pitch we're bloody brilliant but our 3 best players contracts expiring under a year, i understand the staff changing but its ridiculous, they all need to re-sign we can't just pick one to stay
When we nail down all three contracts remember how well we do business.
FSG preventing liverpool from dominating year after year
How?
No club without City's money can dominate year after year. Winning the league once in a 4-5 year cycle is more realistic.
😂😂😂😂😂 based on what
Fsg are the reason Liverpool have the players they do in the first place, what are you on about
I understand this is probably worth talking about.
GIVE MO HIS DOUGH
Salah and Van Dijk are about equally important id say.
Props to FSG for not wanting to keep the Premier competitive by not allowing Liverpool to have this team next year
I think VVD is the most irreplaceable. While Salah of course is hard to replace I think keeping the defensive stability is most important, lose that and in turn salah has less chances to attack. Trent seems the easiest to replace since his responsibilities can be shared between other players. But a lot of people moan about FSG, I’ll be more concerned if it seems like they completely throw out their wage structure, I do trust them in their financial decisions, if any contracts aren’t signed I’m inclined to think the players were asking for an insane amount that probably threatened the stability Liverpool has had since FSG came in
Did Goldbridge actually just liken Trent to Gary Neville? 🤣🤣🤣
What if they have all signed contracts already but it’s being kept quiet so the media isn’t focused on how well Liverpool are doing this season 😂
As a Liverpool fan, I think Salah and VVD will stay for another season or two, and Trent will leave.
