According to an article on the Sydney Opera House website one of the largest ever crowds ever on the Opera House Steps / forecourt was for (No Pun Intended) Crowded House’s Farewell to the World concert in 1996 said to be 100,000 people. Bernard Fanning (Powderfinger) and Paul Dempsey (Something For Kate) have recently teamed up for a new venture called Fanning Dempsey National Park. Unrelated to that however another Aussie band you might want to have a look at that hasn't featured on your channel before is Killing Heidi. Featuring pocket rocket Ella Hooper as lead vocals. songs Weir and Mascara are both great starting points
This was at the ARIA awards 2010. Australia's equivalent to the Grammys. Powerfinger are Australian rock royalty. We are still waiting for them to reform but nothing yet. They have the second most ARIA awards ever. Only behind the even more legendary Silverchair. I was a teen in the 90s and like America, Australia had a lot of great rock acts like Powderfinger, Sliverchair, Regurgitator, Spiderbait, Grinspoon, You Am I, Jebadiah, Frenzal Rohmb, Screaming Jets and The Living End. Just to name a few.
THANKS !!!!!!!!!!! Found some time to watch this, been binge watching TARJA'S and Marko's resumed tour together !!!!!!!!!!! EPIC ☮☮💘💘💥💥
Love you two!! You'd almost be running out of Aussie songs soon :D
