Naoto = Duder from an alternate universe, has the same / similar powers as Ragna. Tried to kill off Rachel's father along with extremely younger versions of Relius & Valkenhyn and got thrown into the CF universe to look for his version of Rachel. Izanami = Looks like Naoto's younger sister from his universe. Rachel = Looks just like a younger version of his Rachel (named Raquel in that Universe) i.imgur.com/ePh6SOP.png Relius = Worked with him for a bit when Relius was a teenager to hunt dangerous people / bounties (ending with Clavis, presumed him dead after they couldn't touch him, fixed up Naoto's arm when it got crushed once. Still the same person as in Naoto's Universe, one of the few to recognise Naoto. Valk = Worked with him for a bit when Valk was young, to hunt dangerous people / bounties. Still the same person as in Naoto's Universe, one of the few to recognise Naoto. You might need a degree to follow some of the lore I've noticed. 😱
Also, Naoto is the uncle who took care of the people in the orphanage (which would mean he was the caretaker of Ragna, Jin/Hakumen, Saya/Noel) before Terumi destroyed the place (Also killing him by accident) looking for the azure that was in Rachel's or the churches' hand in this timeline (Which is how Ragna learned of bloodedge, through Rachel). The current Naoto in this game comes from another timeline where he didn't get the azure and was in the process of doing so through Raquel who was still a vampire and she was on the lookout for her timeline's azure as well (Naoto learned about the bloodedge from Raquel), but instead got transported into the timeline where he found it and died (probably because in that timeline Naoto got to much of his self absorbed by the azure) probably because this Rachel fused with all her alt timelines including Raquel to reach Tamagahara at that point in time, where she becomes one of humanities guardians who's sole purpose is to keep humanity flourishing while using the time magic in the tamagahara (I might be getting the name of the system she is part of wrong tho) , she is one of the three (A,B,C) who have to act as administrators of the world through the boundaries of the world using that and plenty other magics that can manipulate world events, the other two members being Susanoo(Terumi) and Amaterasu who have direct roles to play as destroyer/creator for those worlds.
You Gotta Shoot 'Em In The Head wait wasn't his world destroyed at the beginning of the CF ? And as far as I know he managed to recreate and come back to his dimension at the end so he definitely didn't die.
