Well, I agree about the underappreciate thing. Guster deserves to be multi-platinum sellers in my humble opinion. I had the good fortune to see them live in Birmingham Alabama back when the city was still very forward and had one of the country's finest festivals, City Stages. That was a decade ago and I haven't forgot that performance. I love Guster and put them up with the best rock period.
This song reminds me of my very best days of teaching art in public school. My students loved this song, and while working on their masterpieces, they sang along.... and it was so good.
This song haunts me. When did it first land? I knew I’d heard it maybe even as a kid, but I can’t place why I knew it before… strange. Anyway this comment encapsulates everything I feel about this song.
@@GR1MSBEE October of 2010 it was released in an album, according to Wikipedia. You may also enjoy a song called _That Thing You Do_ (The Wonders) from a 1996 movie which has a similar "vibe" to this one.
Just saw you guys in Atlanta and as before you were FANTASTIC. It's extremely rare these days for artists to sound as good if not better live than their recordings. I've loved you guys for many years. It's such a breath of fresh air knowing there's still good music out there compared to the large amounts of trash on the radio these days.
Oh, the awesome memories of hearing these guys along with Collective Soul! My sons growing up in the 80`s and 90`s loved this band. I did as well. The fact that these guys sounded so incredibly great live, sets them apart from most bands. I remember hearing The Stone`s and Black Sabbath live and geez they sounded terrible.
i like whenever the drummer hits the snare he says BOP lol
Hehehe :) Bop bop
Ryan Miller looks like he's having a blast up there. If I could sing half as good as he can, I would be elated 24/7.

Why's it always the unappreciated bands that are amazing live and all the popular ones suck, I don't know how you couldn't like Guster.
Alright calm down bud
@@gr6e Wow, what a call back. I've got no memory of this. Cheers bro!
You know a song is perfect when it seems like it has always existed.
I couldn't have put it better myself.
GREAT comment!
I wouldn't be surprised to hear the beachboys cover this back in the day. The harmonies are similarly great

Was there at Tabernacle too. Never get tired of Guster in concert.
melodic rock dressed up with piano, cello, violin - reminds me of ELO back in the day - good stuff!
We graduated from Berkner High School...the wife and I...classes of 1977 and 1978; rock on!
Love them so much. My two year old has memorized "Keep it Together" effortlessly. That's how often she hears guster songs in our house.
My son used to sing that when he was 2 as well! Now he is 8 and his favorite Guster song is this one and Lightning Rod

Some of that song actually reminds me a bit of the Beach Boys. :)
Great performance

Feels like all the popular musicians are either really young or really old.

I want to find the right woman to sing this to.
I can't hear this song without laughing in my head thinking of the version they did with Daryl Hall.
