I'm glad the negative comments and doubts didn't stop you. As a 20-something who will soon get married and have a family, I have learned a lot from your channel over the years. I think there are a lot of young women out there who didn't learn important home skills growing up but want to live a more home-focused lifestyle; what you post can mean a lot more to someone than just a recipe or frugal thrifting tip.
I'm one of those people who just watches because I like you! hahaha I don't have an old fashioned stove, I don't eat the same diet at you, I don't have children, but I like that you use the gifts that God has given you to make a better life for others, to love others, build them up and nurture them, especially right at home with your own family. WOW! This was awesome! I have had my own domain for 13 years. Since my stroke, six years ago I have been trying to get back into the grove. My Pinterest now gets 5.4 million views a month, but I need to focus on so many other things...the blog being #1. Twice a week is doable since I also take care of my 14 month old grandson! thank you!!!

Your style is laid back and I don't feel like you are what I think of us "robot mom" blogger where the person seems too type A and not relatable. I wish I could do the course but I work full time and am a full time grad student. I live in Brooklyn, am 40, single, and pursuing a career in an academic setting but I have always wanted to blog. I've done a little bit of freelance writing but never done anything that is totally my vision. Maybe I'll revisit this goal over winter break.

I feel I have ideas and see there's a niche out there not explored, but...and this is a huge but for me. I'm extremely introverted! Love your advice! I am an avid fan and so want to start a blog from home. I had one already with my photography business and was just ready to revamp when it was hacked! It was a WordPress sure with a go daddy domain. I am so frustrated and scared to start again. Any advice?
I would love to know your thoughts on being a you tuber and social media influencer and how that might possibly effect your daughters. My daughters are young and they sometimes watch you tube and I hear them mimicking the you tubers they watch.
I had to laugh when you talked about the people who watch all your videos even if they have no intention of sewing the item, following the recipe, etc. I've watched you for a few years. I don't have children, I don't live on a farm, I have no desire to start a blog or UA-cam channel, heck, I don't even eat meat or dairy anymore. I just love to watch how other people live their lives! I may not agree with everything you say, but I always remember that you have your opinion and I have mine. Doesn't mean they have to match for me to enjoy your content.
So, I'm a bit older and missed the whole blog thing as a mom...I have a small youtube channel that I haven't done much with in over a year and I have 3 active Etsy shops. I still don't get the purpose of a blog...I'm not sure why people go to a blog because I never used them as a resource, but it does interest me. Do you reach moms your age mostly or do moms like me (almost 54...holy crap) visit your bolg?

I am starting a UA-cam channel about Montessori homeschooling. I have been looking at your course and am really interested, but unsure if it would help if I am not planning on doing a blog as well as a UA-cam channel. What would be the pros of doing a blog on addition? Stay at home homeschooling mom of 3 with very little time to invest, but I do want to make a career out of it.

You go girl! 🌞Our kids are all in college now, we've downsized into an apartment living lifestyle because of mine and my husband's health issues and physical disabilities, and I watch you for your attitude and your genuine heart that always shines through in your videos. Even after running our own super busy family household for decades when our kids were younger, I gain a lot by watching your super helpful tips on running a home and simple lifestyle, which even applies to us older disabled folks. I can always glean something useful from your recipes, your decorating style, and even your sewing ideas even though I don't sew anymore because I continue to knit. Thank you for putting your work and ideas out there so we can all learn and find all the positive things there are in life to capture. 🤗🌞❤️👍

@@julia-cx6mr My issues are genetic. Mitochondrial diseases inherited from my Mom, some passed along to our daughters. It's all good though👍. We're still living our best lives. Every challenge in life can't be prevented and we have exceptional doctors where we live. 🤗 We can't ask for more. ❤️🙌

Dang it I missed it, my mom has dementia and I had to move her in I'm taking care of her 24/7 I'm exhausted and was thinking so much about blogging since I'm home all day long. I missed it :( dang it :(
I work with mostly men. As I get older I know fewer and fewer women. I like to listen so there is a friendly female voice in my day.

I feel I have ideas and see there's a niche out there not explored, but...and this is a huge but for me. I'm extremely introverted! My creative side says, " Go put some of your ideas out there!" and my painfully shy side says," Are you nuts! you will be trampled under foot out there. LOL.. Keep up the great content!

Love your advice! I am an avid fan and so want to start a blog from home. I had one already with my photography business and was just ready to revamp when it was hacked! It was a WordPress sure with a go daddy domain. I am so frustrated and scared to start again. Any advice?
I would love to know your thoughts on being a you tuber and social media influencer and how that might possibly effect your daughters. My daughters are young and they sometimes watch you tube and I hear them mimicking the you tubers they watch.
I had to laugh when you talked about the people who watch all your videos even if they have no intention of sewing the item, following the recipe, etc. I've watched you for a few years. I don't have children, I don't live on a farm, I have no desire to start a blog or UA-cam channel, heck, I don't even eat meat or dairy anymore. I just love to watch how other people live their lives! I may not agree with everything you say, but I always remember that you have your opinion and I have mine. Doesn't mean they have to match for me to enjoy your content.

So, I'm a bit older and missed the whole blog thing as a mom...I have a small youtube channel that I haven't done much with in over a year and I have 3 active Etsy shops. I still don't get the purpose of a blog...I'm not sure why people go to a blog because I never used them as a resource, but it does interest me. Do you reach moms your age mostly or do moms like me (almost 54...holy crap) visit your bolg?

I am starting a UA-cam channel about Montessori homeschooling. I have been looking at your course and am really interested, but unsure if it would help if I am not planning on doing a blog as well as a UA-cam channel. What would be the pros of doing a blog on addition? Stay at home homeschooling mom of 3 with very little time to invest, but I do want to make a career out of it.
